They also said there were no orders for me then they said there was and lastly they changed their mind again and said they couldn't help me without an order. Shame on you for your staffing choices they seem to be motivated by friends and family, not competent workers. There is ZERO comprehension of the "urgency" of my needs; it is for my BREATHING for God's Sake. They denied my much-needed and electronically submitted "Order" for my compressor nebulizer plus a prescription to go along with it. I worked for several weeks to try to get this fiasco corrected and every time I'd phone the business, I would reach someone who didn't speak fluent English which is the staple of this Country USA, and to top that, the people didn't know what they were saying and 100% of the information they "reluctantly" gave me was incorrect! I took many photos because I wanted the public to know how much medical and ambulatory stuff people need back here but then I'm glad I am just now writing and crafting this review. I was even given a thank-you gift (from the previous employee on my first trip here with Dave for writing on Yelp about my experience) and for saying I was going to craft a great positive review but now I just cannot rate this business more than 2 stars. The original employees who were so helpful and jolly were not working on this day if they even still work there that is. Kudos to those who did work here nearly 2 years ago as they carry so much stuff for healing and care that it can save you from having to order stuff online. They had a ton of DME for seniors and individuals in general. I was shuttle-bussing my dear next-door neighbor & friend Dave, who also happens to be a senior citizen, to attend his many doctor's appointments and last-stop grocery shopping. We were also perusing the diabetic shoes for him. One simple phone call, make a couple of selections on an automated service and voila! All done and ready for you to collect within a couple of hours. So easy even a Monkey could do it. He noticed that the preventative Asthma pump the Doctor had prescribed was not covered on our insurance (also not the one I was prescribed by my old Doctor) so he immediately suggested him calling them and adjusting it to one that was saving me $200! Now how many places are likely to do that? They also do Vaccinations here and is well worth coming for Flu Vaccinations every year. Appointments recommended but not always necessary.

The new price is basically $5.00 for 8, so I guess the price per bagel has gone up, but what hasn't. HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! THE BAGELS ARE NOW WATER BOILED! What that means is they're more like real bagels like you would find in an actual bagel shop, a more dense and chewy bagel, yeah like New York I guess, even though I've never been. The previous bagels were basically fluffy beard donuts! Costco ended their association with Einstein's bagels (the bread donut ones) and now makes their own using water boiling before baking. If you're working directly with customers, basic communication and courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask. Then there's the ridiculously loud music blasting outside. It sounded more like we were walking into a club promotion than Costco. It was obnoxious and completely unnecessary. Checkout wasn't any better. The man checking us out seemed irritated, rushed us through the entire transaction, and came across as rude and disrespectful. At that point, it felt like a pattern rather than one employee having a bad day. Costco charges customers for a membership. The absolute bare minimum should be decent customer service. I don't expect employees to roll out a red carpet, but I do expect to be treated with basic respect and not made to feel like I'm inconveniencing someone by simply shopping there. You come in the next week and that same item has doubled in price. The third week, the same item will be less than on the first visit. And this is all without that item even going on sale. Sometimes prices are great and will beat their competitor's prices. Other times they will grossly overcharge you for something you can get at a fraction of the cost elsewhere. This pricing inconsistency makes it difficult to want to be a frequent shopper. That being said, they do offer a wide variety of items. They might carry a particular obscure brand that you can't find at any other grocery store but might not carry another super popular or mainstream brand. They also sell a mix of individual and bulk items with a huge liquor selection. The staff members are very friendly. They don't hesitate to drop what they're doing to help you or grab something from the back. The store is organized a bit awkwardly so when there aren't many workers, the line gets long and wraps into the aisles. Since its renovation, this store became huge and industrial. I would not necessarily recommend this as your go-to grocer.

I called and spoke with Jen and to be honest I was pretty irritated and had hostile energy. Jen was very kind and heard my feedback and spoke with her staff to figure out what happened. She called me back and explained the situation and that there had been a slight miscommunication but ultimately her staff member followed protocol but could have spoken with a manager about the issue and a manager would have done the exchange for my husband. I appreciate her hearing me out about the issue and remedying it. It truly isn't about the cost of the bread, more the issue with the product going bad before it's best by date. We love going to this particular grocery outlet and have always had good experiences here and because of Jen we will continue to come back.

I can't say enough good things about. I have an extensive array of prescriptions, one of which my insurance refuses to cover. For years I'd being paying $200 a month for it at Walgreens; waiting in line for an hour, then being told I was one day early to pick it up. Familia Farmacia is truly family owned and operated. Veteran Owned. Miguel and Issac and their staff of the nicest people remind me of service long forgotten. Their not trying to get rich on patients like me, they are honest and reasonable. The money I've saved there is off the scale. I've saved hundreds of dollars in a very short time. Even their over the counter medications cost less than. They'll even deliver in an emergency. During the Covid 19 Pandemic they've donated gloves and masks to local hospitals! When I had a surplus of paper towels, I donated it to them Issac and Miguel. This is a safe, clean and sanitized business. I do my part, coming is masked and gloved, and they go above and beyond to keep me safe.
