I came in the other day looking for a specific perfume. When I asked the two ladies working the department for help, it was as if I was wasting their time. Very rude. I asked if they had any of a certain perfume in the back. The one lady huffed and puffed and didnt bother checking. When I asked if I could smell or at least check out if any others were similar the other woman scoffed at me and said and I quote does it look like we have testers here? Couldn't believe it. I have lived here for years and shopped in town often. Horrible customer service. Hope they change their ways soon. I won't be coming back. I placed a pick up order for a thermometer and children's Tylenol as my daughter has the flu. The associate only brought out the thermometer and said the Tylenol was cancelled as it was out of stock. I went in the store myself and there were plenty of children's Tylenol in stock that I ordered. They then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't have the Tylenol I paid for because it had been cancelled and that the money wouldn't be in my account for up to 3 business days. Sarah, you need a new job girlfriend One that doesn't include customer service at a pharmacy, because this is the 2nd time you've gotten unacceptably rude with me. I'm a grown woman who understands California breaks, I'm aware that the pharmacist is entitled to a break - so I don't need you to talk to me like I'm below you and like I'm an idiot. My question was since he's entitled to a break why didn't he take it earlier, instead of taking it 40 minutes before they completely close for 30 minutes for their lunch...delaying patients even further than they already do. I couldn't even ask my question before Sarah started screaming at me. I let her know I was frustrated because this was the 4th time in 2 days that I've tried to pick these prescriptions up, and for one reason or another they weren't ready. I told her I drove from out of town to pick these up 3 separate times and each time was told they weren't ready, even though they said ready for pickup on the Walgreens app where I placed my order. Sarah then continues to use my PERSONAL PROTECTED INFORMATION (hello, HIPAA???) to argue with me and tell me I only drove from Manteca because that's what's listed on my account. Actually, I drove from Delhi...because I just moved and haven't updated my address with the pharmacy yet, but thank you for violating HIPAA to fuel your ignorant, incorrect argument. Hope that worked out the way you wanted it to and made you feel better about yourself. Absolutely unpleasant experience every time I have to deal with her. The first time I had to deal with her was when she mixed 2 different brands of medication in 1 prescription bottle without telling me that there were 2 different brands in there. Imagine my terror when I'm filling my weekly med organizer and notice 2 completely different pills coming from this one bottle as I'm experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms from this very strong medication. I called the store directly and there's not one single manager on duty. They told me the pharmacy manager won't be back until tomorrow; and the store manager won't be in until Friday. Glad you guys are equipped daily to deal with your absolutely out of control employees. read more

I tired to pay for my elderly parent's prescription. I was informed that I could pay over the phone since I do not live in the area. I called on Saturday, June 15th. I got the worst customer service I have ever received from a pharmacy tech here. The first thing the guy said to me was "I'm surprised she said that". I asked to speak to someone else and the woman was just as bad. She informed me that they will only text for me to pay for the prescription. Guess what never got a text. I texted my mom back and called her today only to find out that Walgreens will not do either. There has to be some way to care of our elderly parent's when we are not right there. I used to be a pharmacy tech and never gave any customer such grief. If you do not want to help the elderly in the area, please get another job. read more

Recently I went in to buy some items. I went into the makeup aisle and needed some lashes. When I pressed the button for help, an employee came over to help me. From the start the employee was rude and rolled her eyes at the fact that I needed some assistance. The employee, made me feel dumb for pressing the wrong button on the wrong side of the aisle as she proceeded to smack the button multiple times saying "this is the one you're supposed to press now I have to get the other keys because I don't have these." When she came back to take the lashes out I said I wanted the pair behind the first pair. I told her they looked slightly different and I liked the ones behind them. She then looks at them and shows me the bar code and the lashes and says "these are the same. The bar code is the same, the lashes look the same, they're the same why do you want the ones behind the first pair ?" She said it with such a harsh tone of voice and was extremely rude about the situation when all I asked was for the pair behind the first pair. The cashier was extremely nice when I went up to her to talk about the issue and even apologized for her managers behavior. It appears to me that the woman that helped me was either the General Manager or higher. A store manager that acts that way towards their customers is unbelievable, it also hasn't been the first time I've experienced some rude behavior from that manager. read more

Unfortunately we will need to change pharmacies due to the extreme rudeness of the pharmacy staff. I was a pharmacy technician for a number of years and I know it can be a hard job but there is no need to treat customers like they are beneath you. No one but one technician ever smiles, if you dare to ask a question they immediately start talking over what you are saying and if they don't want to deal with you they walk away from you while you are talking to them. Also, if you bring up the their online system or auto refill system then the conversation is over which is what happened to me. The really sad thing is that no matter who the pharmacist is they never try to calm down the employee or come over to see if they can help. read more

Zero stars if I could Absolutely terrible service, I was trying to find a prescription that was out of stock at my regular Walgreens and i had been calling based off of what other Walgreens had told me might have it in stock, couldn't hurt, I had the rudest girl answer the phone she had such an attitude and a disgusting behavior and I advised that they should change their inventory because if their systems say it's in stock It's extremely misleading. I couldn't imagine driving two hours out there to have that happen or worse definitely need some training on how to handle situations better read more

Very rude pharmacy staff. Had to get an RX filled for a worker's comp claim. Was told they aren't taking new customers. What? When questioned, was then told the med that had been prescribed was hard to get and it would take at least 15 days or more to get it. Went to a nearby competitor pharmacy and got the RX filled super fast & easy. Will never step foot in Ripon Walgreens again. read more

I don't shop at Walgreens but once every few years. I came in and saw they had some nice sales. Got to the register and was told you need rewards account to get "sale" prices. Found an old account thankfully, some sale prices still didn't show. I was frustrated as was my special needs kid who was buying himself some toys. Very sensitive cashier said I was hostile, seriously? I sighed and rolled my eyes at the complications with sale prices. If that is considered hostile, I don't know what you would do with an actual unhappy customer. Train your employees to handle situations without freaking out over a sigh.. even my kid looked at me and said "mom you weren't even close to upset" read more

Went in today 8/2/2020 and went to pay for my purchase. Not a hello, no type of greeting what so ever. His name is Mena. I got done paying and he gave me my receipt and I said thank you. My wife had an online covid test appointment. With email and confirmation number. We arrived there on time for the appointment and even showed the email and confirmation number to the clerk. The clerk said that my wife is not on the list and to make another appointment. This appointment was made in days and to have us turn away with the proper documents as proof was very disappointing. Is it our fault if the computer system possibly had a glitch. Boycotting this Walgreens. read more

I'm only giving this place an extra starbecause of the tall young gentleman who is always so kind and helps me every time I bring my grandmother in to get her medicine But sometimes when I come by myself it seems that just because the color of my skin the somewhat young blonde girl seems to have workers pretend to put things down in every aisle I go to and is never welcoming or helpful and always has a nasty attitude ! On the one hand there have been helpful people at this pharmacy (Ripon) but on the other hand this pharmacy refuses to acknowledge or correct matters where it might be construed they made a mistake. They blame everyone else (including the doctor) for things they can simply and quickly rectify but refuse. I had a prescription of 270 capsules meant for 30 days and which the pharmacy had always filled as a 30 day prescription. Then suddenly this month my copay went up inexplicably 60 dollars (from 40 to 100). I knew that was not supposed to happen so I asked why. The pharmacy claimed not to know and said to ask my insurance. So I paid, went home and called my insurance. The insurance said the copay went up because the pharmacy filed my prescription of 270 capsules as 38 days instead of 30 as previously done so that now I ways paying the 90 day copay rather than the 30 day copay. The insurance company said the pharmacy could correct this if I notified them within 48 hours. It was less than two hours, so I called them directly. From one month to the next the pharmacy changed its interpretation of the prescription which they had always run as 30 days to 38 days. I was now paying for 90 days though only getting pills for 30. My doctor didn't change anything, my insurance didn't change anything, the pharmacy changed its interpretation to something different than the way they interpreted it in the previous months. When I informed them of what my insurance said, instead of correcting this and ending the matter, they blamed the doctor for the unclear prescription and said they could not change it from their present interpretation. Only the doctor can. Yet they could not explain to me why they interpreted 270 as 30 days in previous months and why now they must interpret that same prescription as 38 days. It all points to them making this change unawares and then instead of correcting it, doubling down on it. This is not customer service. Stay away from the Ripon Walgreens, there are people there more concerned about their "being right" than they are about you the customer. All they had to do was simply rerun the prescription the way they always had (which was correct) and it would have been fixed. It's hard enough when you have health issues, but when you end up paying for 3 months and get one month supply, because the pharmacy staff is afraid of looking like having made a mistake, the only thing I can say is: stay away! They are not there for you. read more

This Walgreens has such great customer service. They are always happy and friendly and greet you when you enter the store. Today, however, there was an employee who went above and beyond to help me. Erica exceeded my expectations. Not only did she help me by telling me about the sales, she also helped me save money... even if it took some time to void my purchases and re-ring my items. She had no problem taking time with me. I felt like I was the only person in the store (what a rarity). Thank you Erica! read more

The customer service in this store needs improvement. I went in tonight (3/12/19) to make a quick purchase and the blonde woman working glanced at me several times but never welcomed me into the store, nor did she acknowledge me. Even when I went up to the register to purchase my items. She stood behind the counter as I waited to purchase my items and didn't say one word. Then she stepped aside for her coworker to take her place. He was at least very courteous and is the only reason why I rated more than one star. Horrible customer service. Called 5 different times and asked to talk to a manager and I was on the line so long the called disconnected multiple times . They never want to help you at the store if your young they think you are just up to no good . I hate it here ! I always see them picking out people and following them around the store mostly Mexican guys and African American people . So wrong . read more

This is my favorite Walgreens and I shop here almost everyday. The staff is always great and the store is clean and always has what I need.

This store is a great alternative to driving out of town for just a few items. The employees are always so nice and helpful. I especially like the lady in cosmetics. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars in customer service, I would. I have already made a complaint to corporate. I was returning a gift that I received for my baby shower and had no receipt which is not uncommon. The item was scanned and it was sold at this store, the manager on duty, a tall heavy set male told me that he would not return the item for store credit because it did not have a receipt. I let him know it was a gift and that getting a receipt may be difficult, then he told me he wouldn't return it because the box had a small tear on the side. I told him that that was the way that I had received the gift and that I really didn't want money. I was planning on buying diapers instead with the store credit. He bluntly, unapologetically, with an extremely demeaning voice told me no that he would not return the item and that I had to come back with the receipt in order for a return. I felt very belittled and I felt as if I was doing something wrong. He treated me with disdain. I am 9 months pregnant and no woman should ever feel as if they are doing something wrong when returning or speaking to the "man in charge." It felt extremely personal. My family and I have spent thousands at this Walgreens and after today I will no longer be stepping foot in that store. Thankfully we have a CVS down the street. read more
