CVS has recently introduced a new system at its pharmacy, and it is a tremendous improvement. When you arrive, you enter your name, phone number, and the other requested information on a tablet. The pharmacist can immediately see which prescriptions are ready, retrieve them, package everything, take your payment, and have you on your way. The entire process is straightforward, well organized, and very efficient. Customer service at the pharmacy has also improved considerably. There now seem to be more pharmacists and staff members available to help customers, which keeps even a long line moving at a good pace. The employees have been attentive, helpful, and professional during my recent visits. CVS also continues to offer competitive prices, making it a convenient and economical choice. I am very pleased with the new pharmacy setup and the noticeable improvement in service. It has made picking up prescriptions much faster and far less frustrating. This is an excellent change, and CVS deserves credit for recognizing a problem and taking effective steps to correct it. read more

This CVS pharmacy is off 111 highway & Bob Hope Dr Upon entering I noticed his super clean, highly organized with attention to details. This CVS has a wide range of goods here from: household appliances, food, drinks, health & beauty, hygiene, hydration, cold & flu medicine, allergies medicines, clothing. Almost like a regular store, they might not have exactly what you need but mostly it's here! That why I love CVS Pharmacy! Especially for cold & flu medicine. Another good reason to shop here is some other stores do close early and they are open later so it's a huge plus! I do realize some medicines are cheaper here verse other stores & sometimes they have sales buy one get 40-50% off the 2nd one! Which other groceries stores don't have. Also they have rewards program here too! Next time you shop you can get 20% off its does vary, but the coupons really help too! Their price points are spot on! Today I need to buy some essential for the house. When I walked in I couldn't find any basket, Letty who was working up in the front saw I was looking for something. She told me there no baskets, they only had carts. She literally told me I'll get one for you! Bless her sweet heart for doing that! The atmosphere is very warm, very friendly and helpful. As I was making my round I needed some in the department but it was locked so I was trying to find someone when Saeed approached me. He asked if needed help, I sure did . He helped me unlock so I could get my item, so kind of him. As i was checking out Letty was there, asked me if I had rewards # I said yes , I saved a lot! Check out was a breeze! Letty & Saeed were super polite, kind, caring, very genuine, super helpful, very down to earth! They both have this very positive upbeat vibe that really radiates! We visited the CVS during our day for stagecoach. Given the proximity to so many restaurants it was easy for us to do a pitstop for anything we needed. They do not close early so we were able to go in every time we tried. Even though we were going at the end of their shift, the place still looked clean and tidy. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. This location was a lifesaver for us. read more

We used to go to Walgreens for our pharmaceuticals and it was apparent how poorly run Walgreens has become. We switched to CVS on Bob Hope and happy we did. This has to be one of the best run CVS's we have experienced. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy staff also great with transferring our prescriptions. The manager of this store is particular excellent as he is visible and welcoming to all cusotmers. read more

Came to pick up some meds after being seen at the urgent care. Pharmacist/staff said the order is not there yet. Asked me to call urgent care but being in RM, my calls kept on dropping. Frustrated I asked for wifi but was told to just go outside to make the call. I did, UC resent the order, and I waited a total of 45 min before the meds were ready, which was a first. Only 3 other clients there. Staff said I can pay for the first meds ( atb) but not the second because " the pharmacist needs to approve it". I know he meant the pharmacist need to give instructions but I just let it go. He went to get the pharmacist but she/he for some reason can't be taken away from whatever she/he is doing to talk to me. Told the staff just give me my meds, I don't need to talk to her bec I was in so much discomfort already! He wont budge bec the pharmacist needs to " approve it". The meds is not a narcotic and I've taken it before! I've been a faithful client here for more than 10 years. I'm sure that pharmacist will be very happy to know that my husband and I are seriously thinking of changing pharmacies. This happened today Aug 23 @ 2:15-3 pm. So I ended up going home without that med as I was in great discomfort already! Later, I asked my husband to pick it up for me and lo, and behold, they just gave it to him without any " talk fr the pharmacist!" It's so obvious that they were just " punishing" me. There was some confusion on my part about the prescription, yet Zay politely explained what I needed to do so that I could get my prescription filled while I'm visiting the desert. Many other persons Zay's age would have been impatient with my confusion, but not Zay. He was polite and professional from the get-go and talked me through the process from start to finish with a sincere and professional approach. Give Zay the day off with pay! Decent CVS location. Organized for the most part, and easy to find things. Except the self-checkout machines take forever to scan. You must swipe it multiple times and wait for each item to scan. It's not really time saving at that point. Better to just go to the cashier, it will save you time. What is confusing to me is the cashier was standing right there, not doing anything. This was going on while we were standing there trying to get items to scan. Wouldn't you think that the cashier might offer help if they see customers struggling with the self-check-out? Or if the machine isn't scanning properly? One would think so. But apparently that is not the case at this CVS, and you must waste your waiting for the machine to want to scan each item. Corporate incompetence, zero customer perspective. First this, the CVS website app requires input of date of birth, but only allows the scrolling back in time month by month year by year. Them when you register, you must use a complex password of 10 characters...better have pencil and paper. No option to save this password. Then we get to counter, and the girl states they do not have. Yet my practitioner website says they do...so back in line and get up to counter and another girl after 20 minutes lapse says it is not in her computer, so I show a Screencast and she finds it...but she needs 15 minutes to fill.....so this is now a 1 hour process and I am filling this out waiting to get back in line....never again will I deal with CVS......I won't even get into their phonestration read more

place was ( past tense ) preferred location and closest. then my excellent pharmacist changed to la quinta , then, left for Costco. like all other CVS, place is not clean. some of the front end staff are helpful. although recently, an order from online and paid for could not be found. finally (!) after clerk walked away ( yes) my product , in a sack, was found on floor right where she stood. VERY glad, grateful, CVS helping with vaccines , but last week, my experience was AWFUL. dirty, grungey, sitting on rickety metal folding chair a few few from BATHROOM used by staff with digestive disorders. the RPh , or so she claimed, had no nametag, no id, wearing open dirty white smock, had not brushed her hair recently, like in weeks. another RPh had entire arm in serious sling for serious debilitation- broke my heart, but how in the world can she work with accuracy filling prescriptions. read more

Been going here for five years and very happy with the service and the employees. Honestly most times it's the customers that hold up the lines and a few of the customers even become rude. Some don't hear well, see well and are confused over their medication and what their doctors ordered for them. Next to Starbucks, charging stations and In and Out. This place is so bad! I had a prescription called in while I was still with the doctors. Gave it 45 minutes and checked. Was told that one wasn't ready to come back in 30 minutes. Came back in 45 was again told it would be 30 minutes. Went back again in 45 minutes. Guess what yes another thirty minutes. Not much confidence that it will be today. Went to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions, Alejandra was the cashier, ran my card and she said it did not go thru but the credit card machine said transaction completed. I looked on my App and it showed paid. I showed to the cashier. She said let's run it again and if it goes thru twice she would credit it back. It went thru a second time, I showed her and she said I would have to call my bank and there was nothing she could do. Billed twice and lied to about fixing it. All star employee you have there CVS. I have been coming to this CVS for well over a year and I haven't given the store any reviews yet but felt like I wanted to show my appreciation by leaving a yelp review for one of the many outstanding employees who work there. Kirk has helped me numerous times, most recently, for multiple photo albums of my daughter, and I have to say that he is one of the most friendliest and kindest persons I have come in contact with while shopping at CVS! Every time I see him, he is always warm and friendly and never shy to share a smile with the store patrons! I had a problem recently with navigating the CVS app for my photo album and he was able to help me on the spot in the store with canceling what I did online and fixing it in the store before it got printed! Also, he helped me for a very large order of 500+ photos with no problems. Kirk also helped me to renew my yearly subscription to CVS Care Pass when my credit card number expired. He is always very pleasant to work with! Always courteous and kind. Thank you Kirk for always helping me. I hope this Yelp review makes your day, because you surely deserve it! Simply the worst pharmacy in the area; recco avoiding at all cost. Always a line 10 people deep and a 30-45 minute wait. Nothing is ever ready, even if it's been days since a script was submitted. Insurance is always loused up. Staff is ambivalent to anyone's time but their own and could care less about customer service. On my last visit there I told the cashier I'd been waiting on the queue for 35 minutes and she says "better than 40" back to me. My jaw literally dropped. To boot, they were out of the meds I needed and couldn't tell me when they'd have more in or if they could get them from another store. I kid not. read more

I've literally never been to a worse pharmacy in my life. HORRIBLE communication, things not filled when theyre supposed to, wrong directions from pharmacists - I literally dont even know how anyone here is licensed. We've been told to "come back to pick it up in 30 minutes" and then in 30 minutes they were literally about to close (so why would you tell us to come back then?) and they LITERALLY saw my husband and ran away to close up and leave because they only had like 5 minutes left. My son and daughter both were put on antibiotics, and I was told to ONLY refrigerate my daughters. I woke up this morning and my sons was all yellow, and I reread the label and it says it needed to be refrigerated this whole time!!!!!! UGH anyways I hate this place after having like 5 or 6 awful experiences, and the pharmacists here need to be under review or something. read more

Don't bother trying to do a pick up order here. They seem to find a way to mess it up every time. Whether it's them only giving you half your order and not refunding you (guessing the employee stole my items and I had to dispute with my bank) or the employees dropping and damaging the goods (leading to everything being covered in soap)... then giving my husband issues when trying to get a refund for the damaged goods THEY damaged... I came to CVS to get a COVID-19 PCR test for travel to Hawaii. The requirement to travel including a negative COVID-19 PCR test from a "Trusted Partner" of the state of Hawaii, which is why I chose CVS. You need to take the test within 3 days from your departure time/date. I went on Saturday at 11am and had my test back by Monday at 2pm. The results came in approximately 2 days and I was allowed to travel to Hawaii. Although I had a good experience here, I would recommend going to LAX terminal 6 testing instead because results come back within 5 hours (way less stressful). read more

The Pharmacy is so lazy and rude. They cant seem to get anything right. The tall pharmacist is disrespectful and could care less. Almost every time I am notifies there is a refill when I get there they tell me there is nothing. The pharmacy manager could care less and has no control over his unprofessional staff. The pharmacy there had several people working behind the counter and THREE lines building on our side. It took all of them people OVER a half hour to fill two prescriptions that we called to verify. The computerized phone system for prescriptions and refills at CVS Rancho Mirage is an absolute nightmare. I receive multiple texts advising that prescriptions I don't even use any longer have been refilled and are ready for pick up. Getting current prescriptions refilled can take up to a week and several long frustrating phone calls. Recently I was advised that my prescription would be ready in three days; and at five days I'm still trying to get my medication. I'm going to change my prescription plan at the first opportunity!! read more
