This was my second full of a prescription here. The first was expensive, I forgot my GoodRX coupons. My doctor refilled a prescription and I went to pick it up, but it was at a different CVS. (Another story) The clerk was nice and found that my prescription was filled at the other CVS, but could transfer it. Yay, nice. She asked the pharmacist, who came over and within seconds was telling me, "won't fill it, go to the other." I think her words were right, she wouldn't transfer it from the other CVS. But she could..... I was prompt dismissed, as she repeated for me to go to the other CVS, and walked away. Kudos to the clerk, but I'll not go back and I'm transferring my prescriptions to a competitor that's just down the street. (And has better GoodRX prices too!) read more

ADHD patients already struggle enough. Being spoken to loudly and treated with suspicion in front of other customers is unacceptable. I was told my doctor needed to call. One pharmacist did speak to my doctor but failed to pass the message along, so I still left without my medication. My doctor believed the issue was resolved--when it wasn't. I travel for work as a fashion designer and stay in town for pop-ups. "Passing by" a pharmacy is not wrongdoing, yet I was treated like it was. Pharmacists should support patients, not abuse power or make people feel guilty for needing care. This location failed at professionalism, privacy, and basic respect. read more

This pharmacy has the worst staff. Omg! I went in last night and they informed me that they plan to close in 15 mins. Okay.... Flash forward to today. I've been calling all day today and when I finally got someone to answer the phone, the lady hung up on me after being on hold for a long time. Very unprofessional business practices. Two times now I've made an appointment for a vaccine shot and both times I've shown up they told me they didn't have the vaccine. Nobody called to notify me before hand so twice I've had to leave work early, use my vacation hours for my SCHEDULED appointment, and both times I left without my vaccine. This is incredibly unprofessional the lack of care for other people's time is shameful. People deserve a courtesy notice!!! read more

The person on the phone made it super easy to transfer my prescriptions from another pharmacy that closed. The attendant/cashier was friendly and helpful. I got my refill with absolutely no problem. Calling them on the phone is easy, as opposed to the Walgreens up the street which was a nightmare to get a hold of (they cut my phone off every time I called, and I was kept waiting such a long time before anyone even answered - again only to get cut off). read more

A pharmacist tried f to bill me unnecessarily. I caught it and confronted him. He was nasty! This past week my dr submitted a refill rx. Not only did theyv not report to SCAN Butvtheirvrobotvresponder via phone voice recirding said i could not receive it until Aug 26. I reported all to SCAN and they said something wrong as eligible now to receive it. Said forv me to call CVS again. I did and they could not explain why they dud not not fill the RX or why their automated recording gave me wrong info. . For $9.95 i did get it delivered today FINALLY but exiting CVSas 3rd time a problem as they are discombobulated & created angst when I am sick. CVS is a terrible pharmacy,, awful. Getting your meds timely is serious stuff so use another pharmacy, not CVS, trust me! read more

The entire CVS system...phone numbers, apps and employees are THE worst. The Cathedral City, CA on Date Palm employees are nasty and inept. Terrible Pharmacy -closed for lunch (must be understaffed or unable to plan?) -reopened 10 min late -told me that they didn't have my medicine in stock (after already having to change them through the system) -was only able to get one of my meds -called the next day to see if they can check other cvs inventory, said they couldn't and the doc would have to check other pharmacies (what?? Like a doc is going to have time for that) -magically they DO have it in stock and they apologized for the wrong information the day prior, said it would be ready in 1 hour -came 2 hours later, wasn't ready -waited in the store, finally got called and had to wait in a long line again -store is out of a ton of stock (not throat spray, low inventory or missing inventory) Do not recommend. read more

This company is a nightmare. God forbid you need assistance quickly, forget it. Try to refill a medication on file and they tell you that it still requires a doctor approval. CVS told me my prescription was not covered by my insurance. I told them I had looked it up in the Insurance Companies Formulary and it is a covered medication. They told me I did not know how Insurance works. I replied that I have been a Medical Provider for 45 years, the last 16 of them working for the Insurance Company. Now a week later CVS won't stop calling to tell me that the Rx is approved and ready for pick up. It's not the first time CVS has put my health in danger by a screwup. I would go elsewhere, but my policy says CVS or if I go elsewhere I have to pay all costs out of pocket. read more

Just to warn prospective customers they do have a tendency to screw up prescriptions and make things so bad that you can't get it filled again for 3 months even though it might have been a 30 day supply each time. They also won't allow for more than 120 pills of any narcotic prescriptions. That is a personal choice for this store only. It's disgusting and absurd. If you have issues with giving people their prescribed medication than don't own or run a drugstore. They also regularly lie to customers about their prescriptions and the status because they have screw up. Go to another pharmacy. read more

Came to store and pharmacy was closed for lunch a whole hour, all pharmacy staff at one time. Waited till 2pm for crew to return. No sign of them.... Waited till 215pm until they returned, almost 15-minutes late. People in line were upset and workers could care less. On my turn, they said my prescription was not ready even though it was called in almost two hours earlier. Another long wait.... Was gonna buy a coke on way out, waited online behind 5 people and one cashier, just left. They need a manager or fire whoever leads these lax folks. read more

My insurance required me to transfer all of my prescriptions to CVS. This had me bummed because their locations are not super close. On the phone the female technician was friendly and helpful. When I arrived to pick up my stuff Luis was efficient and available. He even had GREAT news for me. I paid $10 for three months of medicine. NICE!! You even receive a FREE prescription after ordering ten. Sometime in 2016 or 2017 I will put that to use. This store is right next to Cardenas where we buy a few of our items. read more

This company isn't the cheapest as far as prices go, but if you're careful and watch their ads you may find their prices lower than even Wally World. They have every cosmetic under the sun here. Many of the items have a perk, that being $ off on a future product. They also sell GIBLEYS gin, where the big and medium box stores do not sell. I know a lot of people where i live use the pharmacy, and don't have any complaints. Its good to know there is a full pharmacy close enough to me, that I could walk there if need be. read more

If you travel to Hawaii do not use CVS. Covid -19 test does not take 1-2 days as advertised. You will be on edge and more likely miss your flight and your vacation will be ruined. They provide no information when your test will be ready. Their Minute clinic uses the third party lab which they claim they have no control of. The only help they offer is 800 number and you are on your own. For traveling to Hawaii use American Family Care clinic's rapid test ( 30 minutes). It will cost you $215 but prevent your frustration and ruined vacation. read more

I switched to this pharmacy as it was more convenient than the nearby Walgreens. BIG MISTAKE!! In addition to mistakes being made with my prescriptions, there are pharmacy staff members who lack customer care. I refuse to be subjected to rude behavior, especially a condescending tone when a mistake is made. Not only was I lied to by an employee of this particular pharmacy, she has been consistently rude towards me (and others). Having a poor tone of voice and giving dirty looks. I don't expect VIP treatment but I don't expect a bitchy attitude either. If it was a one time thing, I'd let it go but this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME and I'm done. Hopefully she'll be reprimanded as promised but even so, I won't be returning as I can't risk anymore mistakes when it comes to my prescriptions. read more

On my most recent visit, I was having trouble finding an empty spray bottle (probably because it wasn't in the beer cooler, duh), so I asked the girl behind the register, Kelly, for assistance. Kelly was very friendly, and took me straight to the spray bottles, rather than telling me which aisle she thought they might be located on. I have seen her (along with several other members of the staff) here for quite a while; it's nice to see familiar faces in places that you frequent often. read more

I've been up for 20 hours barely getting any sleep, but it's so worth it I'm in love. However, I'm on edge, I'm emotional, I'm tired, hangry. I've been having the worst luck with my insurance trying to find a pharmacy that accepts us. Although Molina has been a huge hassle. I went May 3, 2021. Into CVS and of course, insurance is dilly dallying they haven't sent the order, I don't even want to get into it because it's stressing me out right now. Terrible service at the pharmacy. The wait is at least 20 min even if you have one person ahead of you. The pharmacy staff just lies lies and lies. They overcharged me on my prescription then they took 5 days to realize they didn't have the med that I needed for the infection. They ordered it from another nearby cvs. Made me drive to the thar cvs which also made me wait a good 15 min before they said the pharmacist is on lunch. Basically I ended up going to my vacation sick because these guys couldn't get their act straight. Terrible service. Awful people who just lie. read more

On vacay for July 4th. Stopped in for a quick purchase to get some cash. Saved a few bucks by buying some gum instead of using the ATM and having to pay a fee. Don't have much to say about the store except the air conditioning was a nice treat to help save me from the 100 degree weather outside. It looked clean. The cashier was very kind and helpful. There were a few people in line behind me and she worked very quickly and told them she would be right with them. Great experience - even though it was just getting some cash. read more

How wonderful these pharmacists are! I have a new prescription plan, and had used Von's by my house only to get pain pills ordered, and drop them off and had to wait a WEEK to get them. When my dr sent my sesiure pills to same pharmacy again and I was told again I had to wait days til they could order them, I switched to CVS on date palm and he filled my script in two hours not days. The worst pharmacy go somewhere else. If you go to cvs pharmacy don't get scott ask for somebody else because he is rude and has no customer service. I went to cvs to day and both my cards weren't working on the machine so I asked if I could use the one on the next station but that became a whole issue that right in front of me he tells he's Co worker that I told her it doesn't work but she's insisting on using that card on the next station. Then we try it over there he's groaning and moaning because he has to do extra work and then when I swipe my card it works. I controlled myself told him have a good day. If you have a need for a good pharmacist this is NOT your place. Judy the manager lets her computer run her career. She has no ability to posses human compassion. Just take and order (maybe ok it), not able to offer consultation on new medication because (she has to get back to work) even if the lack could pose a health risk to her patient. So make sure your read them cover to cover when you pick them up. In the 7 years I have been in the valley and dealt with many other CVS this once is like stepping back into the fifties in thought process and appearance. They can only tell you what they can't do not what they can. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have had problems filling prescriptions and authorizing medications since I started going here. Some staff members are great, but the majority have lied to me about authorizations over the phone and then I arrive to pick up and it's not there. Took forever on the prescription at which Point I left while they had a line of unhappy customers who couldn't receive there prescriptions and the two pharmacists were standing and twiddling there thumbs they were slow and unresponsive I'm sorry I've never really written a bad review or a review in general but this had made me livid and it's unfair to the people who NEED there medication for heart disease and other SERIOUS problems also I had called in advance for my prescription and was told it would be ready and I still had to wait and extra hour when arriving to the pharmacy. read more
