This Pharmacy is the WORST! pharmacy I've ever dealt with!!!! The are ignorant rude and nasty to customers.. one pharmacist says one thing then another says something else no one knows what they are doing & they try to make it as difficult as possible to full prescriptions esp if it's a script 1 or 2. I miss the CVS on Charlotte St Pottstown Pa They were the best (kind and friendly) Been to one on High St now a few times since other has closed down I'm older and I have trouble seeing the print on the card reader and when I asked a question about it the pharmacy cashier girl responded very rudely. I was taken by surprise. Perhaps she didn't intend to sound so rude but the tone she used made it very rude. My husband even heard how she spoke and he left the front staff know that she was rude to me. I'm considering never going inside again. Her name was Sara according to my receipt. Please train these employees to show kindness What they do is not just a job but a profession. We sometimes look to others for assistance and being older myself and a lot of older folk use this pharmacy now more then ever read more

I used to go here for everything. There is a shortage of my meds, which I understand. I called and they told me they had it and to come in at noon. When I got there the pharmacist told me that no one told me to come in and I was making it up. Rude for no reason read more

This is my local pharmacy. Like another person said, I'd give it zero or even negative stars. The pharmacists and people at the counter are inefficient, not trained properly in anything, and barely have a pulse. Some don't seem to comprehend basic questions. The drugs are rarely done in time and if there's an issue, you don't get notified. They don't answer their phone and I'm pretty sure the only qualification to get this (probably badly paying) job is a pulse---maybe. I am a cancer survivor and take a lot of meds. When I tell you the stress of this was affecting my health, I am not kidding. I switched to Pottstown Discount Pharmacy and never looked back. My health has actually improved. This is a pharmacy that is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and care. It can happen. That being said, the managers of the store part of CVS are actually very nice and helpful. It's actually weird how polar opposite they are. I have called the CVS customer service line and done many surveys to complain about the pharmacy but that is a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Wow has this place deteriorated in service. In the last 20 years. Do patronize if you can avoid it. I made a flu shot appointment online for 2:30 pm. I went to store. At 2:31 pm the counter person acknowledged I was there. She told me to wait, and she said " you are next in line. The person ahead of me was done at 2:45 pm. At 3pm. He called another for the shot besides me. I went to desk and complained. At 3:15pm another person went ahead of me. I was livid. At 3:30 Still another went before me. Seething with internal rage I left and started this lengthy review. AVOID THIS PLACE is my recommendation. I was a loyal patron here for 20 years. This pharmacy is awful. I've met one good pharmacist recently, who also admitted how good the pharmacy used to be. I left this pharmacy over a year ago because I couldn't take the incompetent treatment anymore. Unfortunately, my husband stayed and now he also knows to leave. He just had surgery this past Tuesday and he was in so much pain. The jerk that works there said they couldn't get his pain medication to him for 2 hours!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I told him he just had hernia surgery and he was white in the face, holding his stomach. He refused to help and said there are people before him and basically too bad for you. He could have escalated his prescription to the pharmacist, but no!! No apologies!!! Nothing!! I used to work at a pharmacy and this is unacceptable!! Why I didn't ask for a pharmacist, I don't know!! I was worried about my husband. The story gets worse, but I just hope this store goes out of business. read more

Chose this pharmacy because it was in close proximity to where I work. that was a mistake. The pharmacy staff are very rude and have "lost" my prescription on three separate occasions. I had not received an update about pickup for over a week so I called the pharmacy directly only to be told my prescription was out of stock and to call back the following day. I did as instructed and was told my prescription would be filled and ready for pickup in the next hour and a half. I stopped in after work today (over eight hours after the initial phone call confirming the prescription would be ready) and the rude young woman at the counter took my info and said "nothing in here for you". I explained that I had been told by an actual human on the phone just hours before that my prescription would be ready and she rolled her eyes and said "Don't know what to tell you" and walked away to chat with the other pharmacy staff about their plans for after work. Incredibly disappointing and I will be switching pharmacies as soon as possible. read more

No longer convenient, not 24 hours pharmacy. Pharmacy hours differ from the retail store. Seems staff short handed all the time. Drive through closed a lot. Inconvenient for handicapped people who need to use the drive through. read more

The pharmacy is the worst. Everytime I go in there they are completely understaffed and the workers are always irritable which leads me to believe they probably don't pay enough. However I went in there and the lady had a disgusting attitude before I got to the counter and I guess once she realized I was not the one to take it out on she fixed herself but then told me they didn't have my medication and she was going to put it on hold and to try another pharmacy. She didn't call to see if they had it on anything, then when I asked her to check out my purchase she sucked her teeth as if I was inconveniencing her. I won't be sending my medication here and it was an accident today. They need to get it together. read more

CVS on E. High St. in Pottstown has the worst pharmacy in town. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my grandson's prescription. The doctor called in at four I went there at 10 of 10 and they did not have the prescription ready. It's ridiculous They were people all over the place and they were so annoyed at the pharmacy and at the pharmacist it was horrible. I recommend them to find some more help, or have the pharmacist in training because this is ridiculous. The pharmacy has never ever ever been like this. I've been pick up my grandson's prescription there every since he was a infant it's embarrassing. I had to transfer it to another CVS. This store is located off High St, minutes away from the hospital. I was helped by a friendly person at the Pharmacy was very help and friendly, most of the time there not, but I don't usually go there till the evening vs. morning. They have almost everything you need, from a snack to electronics, to seasonal items. The bathrooms are locked and you have to be let in, they need a refreshing and keep cleaner. read more
