They always answer the phone (no endless button pushing to get to a real person), are professional and courteous and so very prompt! There was a mix up with some prescription eye drops for one of my clients and he needed to start them TODAY in preparation for a procedure in the days to come. I called Jomici and explained the situation. They had the prescription confirmed and the medication delivered to my client's home in under and hour! Wow. Customer service like this is such a rarity these days, I will recommend Jomici to anyone looking for a pharmacy downtown.

Unlike CVS and Rite-Aid the store is unique in it's products for sale, liniments to chips and crutches. Unfortunately the the two old men who run the place are complete jerks. I've never experienced that level of contempt, for just walking in the door, from any pharmacy before. Even poorly paid CVS employees have a better temperament than these guys. I really tried to like them, I figured... well maybe it's like Dirty Franks, you have to show you face there for a while before you're accepted. It was not to be, I didn't want to support a chain store over a local store... but you guys forced me to it (ten visits = ten irritable occasions). I now get stellar service at the brand new Walgreens on the 900 block of Locust, one block from your location. Reap what you sow jerk offs.

Very poor customer service…read more I came in to pick up medicine for my elderly father. I provided all patient identifiers & they still didn't know what medication I came for. Not once was I greeted. I was asked "What do you need?" I'm not asking for rainbows & sunshine but the woman at the front desk looked like I stole her first born child. She handed me my meds & walked away. Did not ask if I needed education on the meds. My family chose this pharmacy because it's Vietnamese ran & they don't speak English. It's a shame to see this is how they treat people in their community & run their business. They also don't accept cards unless it's over $10 which isn't legal. Whatever fee the credit cards are charging is for them to pay. Not the consumer. I had to leave to get cash for my father's meds. Will be transferring my dad's medications elsewhere.

Nova Star is one of those increasingly rare places where it's always a person to person experience. It's a tiny store. But the owner has such good taste in products and somehow manages to stock the store with a wide variety of things that are high quality, unique, and cool. Skincare, bodycare, vitamins and supplements, teas, candles, soaps, everything. A lot of organic and artisanal products. A lot of smaller brands. A lot of imported things that you don't see every day. It's like a magic trick. They're also super nice as pharmacists. And just super great customer service all around. IMO, this is not one of the best pharmacies in Philadelphia, it's one of the best stores overall. Period. This is one of those almost flawless things. I have no notes. They could not be better.

Walmart is Walmart... what can you say.. they seem to bring in the craziest of people and draw in…read moresome real weirdos, but they have some pretty good prices... so that explains why the population in Walmart is so diverse. The last few times I have been here there have been people getting taken away by security, or fighting in the lines, or beating/yelling at their kids. You kind of see it all in Walmart stores. Key goal when shopping here is to try and shop quickly and get in and out to avoid the nonsense and drama that always seems to occur when I'm here. The staff are always MIA, but it could be a good thing, cause they are miserable most of the time and seem to be annoyed to actually have to do their jobs and help customers. I give this place 3 stars because you cant beat the deals on toys, home cleaning products and things like blankets, comforters and things for your home.
