Sometimes slow, sometimes distracted and off doing something else. At the very least, they seem understaffed at this location, as it's sometimes a bit of a wait to get help, even with just checking out. All of the stuff is locked up here, presumably to avoid theft. However, it leads to a lot of friction when you have to press the button and wait for the same person to come and unlock a case for you to get each item in your multi-item shopping list. The pharmacists did not tell me for a week that they had filled my prescription because they unilaterally decided that the copay was too expensive. In August 2025, when Rite-Aid filed for bankruptcy, my prescriptions were transferred to this CVS. They regularly lied to me about when new prescriptions would be ready and treated me like a criminal. After two weeks without my life-saving medication, I found a place across the city that was far more courteous and receptive to my needs.

I was given the wrong medication for my son which I had to correct myself. I then stopped by for a flu shot for my 10-year old - which was advertised to me repeatedly. This CVS is smaller than some others so it's not as well stocked with holiday items during the end of year holiday season, and have a small refrigerator and freezer section. With the lack of a grocery store in Old City, the smart thing to do would be to expand those sections. But I can usually find what I'm looking for here. And the pharmacy rarely has a wait. They recently added self checkout machines, so u can generally avoid that person holding up the line complaining about something or asking for a rain check on a coupon. This CVS has been a welcome addition to my Old City neighborhood since the day it opened.
