I've come here a few times for their printing services and never had an issue until today. Not only was I handed someone else's documents, but the document I had printed was incredibly important and I was working against a tight deadline. I should have double-checked everything before leaving the store, but since I'd never run into a problem here before, it didn't cross my mind. That said, this isn't a bad location and I still prefer it over Walgreens. It's also conveniently close to other stores like Vallarta, Target, and a handful of other businesses. CVS on 47th & R. Minus one!! Drive thru pharmacy sucks. Poor service and management. Get there 20 minutes before lunch closing, 2 cars in front. First car leaves quick. Second car made it so it took 17 minutes and now when it's my turn," sorry closed for lunch" . Make the person move or go in like other drivers thrus. Poor decision making and management. Love the staff at this pharmacy - they are great. Not sure who the genius was who decided to create 2 hour lines at the drive through to do Covid testing though. Now vulnerable/at risk people have to go into the store to pick up prescriptions or sit for hours in the line waiting for people to do self testing. There has to be a better way! I have been a long-time customer of this CVS but things have changed dramatically with the new pharmacy manager. I work as an RN and my wife as an LVN. I understand how hard it is in a medical-related environment where people are often unhappy and usually give a pass because I realize both how hard they work and how stressful their job can be. But I have had two recent events that will probably cause me to switch pharmacies. The first, with the new year insurance companies, are sometimes slow updating current new year information. My wife had a prescription for a controlled substance, Ambien which insurance was not showing as active. The cash price without insurance was 59.00. I go in there to pick up the medication and show the "Good Rx' discount coupon which lowers the price to 14 dollars. This pharmacy manager won't honor it saying that we have too many problems with fraud so we don't accept coupons for controlled substances. Note, this isn't CVS's policy, this is hers. Also, note that my wife has been getting this same prescription every month for the last five years from this pharmacy.....Fraud rings hollow. The second incident was this morning. I requested a med refill online around 3 am, I work nights, and was told that it would be ready by 2 pm. I called this AM at 8 am on my way home from work. I had been advised to call in the past in situations like this. I explained that I work nights and if I could pick up my prescription early. I was told 11:30 am. I explained again that I work nights and asked if I could pick it up early and I was told no, 11:30 was the best she could do. This again was the pharmacy manager....customer service and empathy rings even more hollow. I will be looking for a different pharmacy. Not sure if it will still be CVS after these experiences. The rest of the staff is great. They are friendly, hard-working and greet me by my name, I am still not sure how they do that lol. read more

I usually only go to this place when i need anything after the other locations have shut down for the night,. I am used to LA and Las Vegas hours where all are 24 hours and the surrounding city is not a darkly place. This place has a nice late staff (day staff has been good too) and good air conditioning (love the initial rush walking in from the high heat) that feeling, its like crack. which i feel like is being sold nearby cuz there are always cops in this intersection pulling people over. just for the record i havent ever done crack so i dont actually know read more

Absolutely worst experience I ever had. My mother and I came to pick up some medication, and once we began paying, the cashier asked if we had a cvs card, my mother said probably and gave her a couple of our phone numbers. I guess we didn't. We asked if there was another way it can be checked if we have an account she said "I don't know" in a very curt way. We continued with our transaction and my mother asked if we need to fill up some paper work to get a cvs card. The cashier said "No, only in the system.". We started getting a little irritated. We said, "Ok we want a card" This cashier lady gets the card out in an irritated way and asks for ID. My mother said "You should have offered us the cvs card" Oh gosh this lady gave my mom some devil look and started arguing saying " I asked her (me) if she had a phone number and she said no, you have to let me know if you want an account on the spot" So I mentioned how her customer service was poor, and she denied us service AFTER we purchased our stuff. We asked for her name and she pointed at her shirt thinking her name tag was there which wasn't. She placed her name tag on her shirt and her name is Monica. She claimed to be manager of the store. Extremely rude and she gave some demeanor that she wanted to fight us. I told her she was extremely unprofessional with her attitude I literally had to calm her down. Then she claimed us being "unprofessional" for leaving our purse in the cart. Sadly she doesn't know what that term even means. Avoid her by all means. She means no help and if you ask a question she tries to verbally attack. I don't believe cvs would give a management position to someone that is so unprofessional and ghetto. She needs to get fired ASAP ! read more

This review is for the pharmacy hire up (I believe it was the manager Morgan Chou). We came in at 5:40 to pick up a prescription (they close at 6), and were being helped out by the nice pharmacy technician. When she went to go fill the order, the manager scolded the technician "I told you I was done for the day, why are you still taking orders" and continued to berate her for helping us out. In which we told the manager "that's not nice you shouldn't be speaking to her like that, it's completely unprofessional" and that she should find another profession, in which she replied "yeah maybe I should". I understand that people are put into stressful situations, but that does not condone you to scold your colleagues under any circumstances. Find another job because clearly helping people under tense situations is not your forte. read more

I would check any prescriptions received BEFORE leaving the store. The other day I picked up prescriptions and when I got home noticed that a box they labeled as vitamin C was actually Calcium. My husband is chronically ill and takes a lot of meds and some meds can not be mixed. I called the pharmacy to inform them of their mistake and they want the box back before giving us the vitamin C. They should know that legally they can not take any prescription back once it leaves the store. It is obvious that they want to cover up their mistake and keep the evidence. I will be contacting their corporate office though it will probably be brushed under the table. Please check your meds. read more

This is the worst CVS I have been to in regards to the pharmacy. They never have the medication ready even if you call HOURS ahead. They always promise to have it done at a certain time and when you go pick it up you will always have to wait at least thirty minutes. It's ridiculous how many times this has happened. read more

Why is it that I waste gas driving to this place after they call in to say the medicine is ready, only for them to say when get there "Oh, we need about 10 more minutes to 2 MORE HOURS"? Worst customer service ever from any cvs Pharmacy I been to. I showed up on a Saturday 12-08-18 afternoon to drop off a prescription for antibiotics for the 5 week old baby which they told me it was going to be ready until the next day after 1:30 pm to which I said it was fine. Today my wife went to pick up the prescription around 4:00 pm and when she got there the prescription wasn't ready but the worst part is that they couldn't even find the prescription for my baby's antibiotics !! Once they found it they told my wife that it was going to take 10 mins for the prescription to be ready. After an hour of waiting inside the store they called my wife to let her know that unfortunately they couldn't release the medication to her because apparently what had been prescribed to my baby was too high ! They needed to contact the Er doctor who they couldn't get in touch with so they gave the prescription back to my wife !! Very irresponsible, unprofessional pharmacist!!! If they would have paid attention to the prescription once it was dropped this issue could have been fixed before hand !!! Am never coming back to this place to even buy a pack of gum read more

NICE staff BUT every time I call the pharmacy (I am a customer), and even though they have my records (I have prescriptions filled up there), the person on the phone keep asking for my social security number, the insurance number, the prescription number, etc. NO ONE ASKS for social security numbers over the phone, there are many ways to check our accounts that they are supposed to KNOW!!!!! read more

This cvs just gave me the biggest headache ever! And talk about rude cashiers. I made a qualifying purchase that gave us back a $10 gift card. Then when I tried to use the gift card they told me it had a zero balance on it. I mean it had been less than 24hrs. So I called them and told them what happened and all they could tell me was to call customer service. So I did and they told me that as soon as the card was activated the cashier made a mistake and it seemed used. It had been in the matter of a second since it was activated. So I went to the store to explain and to call customer service themselves if they had a problem. Well the rude assistant manager said that she couldn't be able to give me the gift card back because she could only put it back as extra bucks on the cvs account. So I said no I wanted the gift card because I wouldn't be able to use it as cash in the card. But I then I said sure I guess at least I can use it some how. Then to top it off she said that she couldn't find the phone number on the account and it wasn't popping up. Luckily I had an extra one of my moms cards on me. Then she even continued by saying that I shouldn't be using my moms card and I should get my own. What's it to her if I use my moms cvs card or not? She was so rude about the fact that she had to give me back some sort of store credit like it was my fault or something. It wasn't my fault their cashier mest up in the first place. And it's not the first time I've seen this assistant manager be rude. I had been there a few days before and she was rude to a lady trying to use coupons. I guess they arnt coupon friendly either. Worst pharmacy ever they believe everyone is passing them fake scripts and don't even bother to ask for a specific brand of medicine, they'll act like you're a junkie even insulting you're Doctor as if he/she doesn't know what they are prescribing.
