Disorganized, poor communicators, and understaffed. One person was nice and the rest were worthless. The clinic was awful. I waited for 2 hours to take a medical test only to be told that they were unable to do the test because the clinic would be closed for 2 days due to the holiday. Not sure why they let me wait that long when they knew what I was there for, only to tell me that after I waited. It was a huge waste of my time and I could have gone elsewhere had they said this to begin with. Do not recommend and would never go back. read more

Absolutely trash customer service! I felt like I was walking into a tyrant place not a prescription store. I visited on 1/11/2025 at 8pm. It was an old lady as cashier that came up to me furiously to refuse a sale for a NyQuil, flu medicine because I had an ID and my partner did not. I said no problem finished the sale without a NyQuil and left. I came in the second time to try to purchase it alone, they refused the sale and when I asked for cashiers name she started going crazy that I was harassing a senior citizen tried calling 911 and changed her mind then called the manager. Manager comes in furiously threatening with a ban and bar. What is this? A store or a tyrant place? They need better people working here. Somebody with better customer service if you will be providing customer service. Absolutely miserable people taking their anger issues on public. read more

The pharmacy staff are working their tails off. I am a frequent flyer due to various medical needs and I appreciate their professionalism and helpful attitudes. The rest of the store... I find many of the products are somewhat overpriced but I'll but things because I'm already there picking up a prescription (convenience) and sometimes I have a coupon. They do have a good selection of moisturizers, etc. Lastly, they have my medications in stock or get them in quickly. This is a big issue for a friend of mine at another location. 5*'s for that. read more

Order anti-diarrhea medicine and asked that it be delivered since I was not able to leave house. It never was delivered but CVS posted video of Jayanna delivering it to a nearby building, I was unable to reach a human by calling and too sick to leave the house for obvious reasons that are better not mentioned. Wow....looking at the Yelp reviews, the average score is a 1 star. This is really surprising but many of the reviews are reflecting only on the pharmacy or phone line issues. I only had to make a simple purchase today since I had a coupon that was about to expire and wanted to take advantage of this major discount. The store is in a decent location 144th/Maple in West Omaha. The interior of the store wasn't considered prestine but the signs above you helped with navigating where I had to go. Once I had my items, I walked to the cashier who was helpful and asked me if I wanted to use my coupons that were on my account? I'm glad she did ask since I didn't see these being calculated into the final amount. She wished me a good day and I had no issues except for the inventory was low on several items. I still was able to find what I needed but there wasn't much left at the time. I would prefer to visit the 132nd and Center CVS Pharmacy if given a choice between the 2 locations. read more

Updating my review to reflect my last three experiences at this pharmacy. Each time I got a notification telling me that my prescription was ready for pick up. But then when I got to the pharmacy, they said it wasn't ready and that they are behind and that it'll be ready in about 20 minutes. Once or twice, it wouldn't really be a problem but three times in a row is a pattern and it's getting quite annoying. It's just frustrating when your time is wasted. They really need to get this sorted out soon. read more

I walked into the store with the intention of buying snacks for the movie that my 3 friends and I we going to see. When we walked in the lady at the check out immediately gave all of us a glare. One of my friends wanted to buy a bouncy ball. He bounced it a few times to see if it was pumped up. The lady yelled at him and told him and my other friend to get there asses out of the store. She said nothing to me and my friend. Who were also looking at the bouncy balls. She had no problem with me and my white friend bouncing the balls but kicked out my two friends out that are a different ethnicity. It made us all extremely uncomfortable and I will not be going back. read more

I needed 8 stitches on each of my hands Wed nite, Jan 10th - I needed pain meds and antibiotics - all the pharmacies in my neighborhood were closed - finally found this CVS at 144 & Maple. We got there about 10 mins to 9 (they close at 9) - the young lady came to the counter and said they probably couldn't fill this tonight....thankfully, the pharmacist, Randy walked up, saw my bloodied shirt and my face and filled them for me - he even helped with the GoodRX app. I can't thank him enough for his compassion and professionalism - he's an absolute asset to your organization. If it wasn't so far, I'd make him my preferred pharmacist. Please acknowledge and reward him in some way. read more

I must agree with all of the reviews that have been before me. The pharmacy is terrible... Especially the drive-through Or trying to talk to an associate. My husband was on the phone yesterday for an hour waiting for someone to pick up. They never did and he hung up. I've had a reason to contact another pharmacy a few times over the past couple weeks. The phone has always been answered right away. If they can do it associated with a grocery store why can't this be done by CVS when it's their only business. It's too bad this is happening because when CVS first came here it was the best pharmacy in Omaha. I realize staffing is an issue now but I believe it could be organized better. read more

I hate this pharmacy. I wouldn't normally say that but this place is horrible. I have never had a halfway decent experience here. They take forever to fill prescriptions, their app sucks, and their customer service is the worst. I only use CVS because of my insurance company. I was there for half an hour tonight. The drive thru is closed and they waited on 3 customers, gave no vaccinations to the people waiting and got pissy with a customer who asked a simple question. read more

I hoped this CVS would be better than the one I changed from. It is just as bad. Not one answers the pharmacy phone; it takes days (now on day 3 and waiting) for refills; you can't depend on the website or app to be accurate in telling you whether a script is ready. When you go there the lines are horrendously long. I would leave, but it is the least expensive pharmacy under my insurance. I might give up anyway and go to Walgreens, which my doctor says is much better. read more

Gloria was super friendly and helpful with getting my prescription all ready. She was very nice to me and my son and was very helpful even though it was very busy. This pharmacy is really terrible. The system will send a notice that your Rx is ready. Then you can go wait 15 mins in line (or call and wait at least 15 mins for someone to answer) and at least 75% of the time "oh your Rx we have been blowing you up about by text isn't actually ready, but it can be in 30 minutes or an hour." And then if say you have a life and can't wait so long, you'll get to repeat the process. Convenient location, really poor service and even worse automated service. Can't recommend. read more

I would not continue to use CVS if my insurance didn't require me to use them. They do not answer their phones because they don't have time. Last time I went through a medication change I went in there after waiting days not being able to get ahold of them and was told they are nine days behind filling prescriptions. I understand the world is short staffed but I literally sent my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and had them filled within an hour. So it seems they are just using it as an excuse. Staff is pretty rude too when you talk to them. Be prepared to sit in the drive thru for 30-40 minutes if you don't want to go in. The person running the window is often the one also running the counter. Just avoid at all costs. read more

My husband and I had to schedule our second Shingles vaccination at this clinic after getting our first at the 90th and Maple location. our first vaccines were $47.00 each. We received a bill from the clinic for $179.00 each. No mention was made of the cost and we were lead to believe our insurance covered it. Quite shocking when we expected a possible bill of $47.00. The customer service in the pharmacy is horrendously bad. Every time I came here, I waited at least 5 minutes in the drive thru before they acknowledge my presence. The last time I was there, I had a question about a refill. The tech said they were going to look, ten minutes later, another tech pulled up my information and answered my question and answered it in seconds. Had an appointment for Covid booster and flu shot. Got the confirmation checked in and was told they were short staffed and that my appointment was canceled. They could have at least called to let me know instead of wasting my time . Staff was rude told me I could try talking to the pharmacist but they were short staffed and closing. RX never ready even on auto refill mode. Drive through always block off with orange cones so you're forced to go inside. You stand in line with a dozen of other people to find out your prescription hasn't been filled yet but has been in process on CVS app for over a week. They always have excuses on why your prescriptions are delayed and even tell you to find another CVS because they are short staffed and already have 25 people waiting in the store for refills. Absolutely ridiculous poor service to their customer. Called Corporate office to relay this information but haven't seen any improvement in the last two weeks. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars because this is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Every single time I get an email or text about my RX's being ready I go in and have to wait at least 15-30 minutes for the person at the register to tell me the RX's aren't filled yet but still "in process" an we can fill it as soon as the people in line before you have their RX filled. Even when I call ahead the RX is still not ready. I just waited 30 minutes in line because there were 5 cars in the drive thru line to be told "well we are about 4 days behind and the only person that can fill RX's is getting ready to leave for the day". SERIOUSLY pick a different pharmacy. This place ONLY gives you more stress and causes you to run out of RXs. read more

My friend and I went to CVS to get a quick flu shot and Jenny Towey was the nurse practitioner working there. I am very disappointed in the service. She was very rude and acted very annoyed with us. We had never been to the minute clinic and didn't know how to sign in and whatnot. She angrily told us to use the computer and wait in line. When there was literally no line. If I could give it negative stars I would. The pharmacy has NEVER answered their phone in less than 1/2 hour. I hate to disagree with a previous review but it doesn't always disconnect in 40 minutes - last night I waited 90 minutes before I hung up. Today I hung up after 60 minutes. My husband called in 2 prescriptions a week ago (using the automated system) and I sat next to him so I know he did. Knowing that it often takes 10 days for them to say its ready - and it really isn't - we checked the website to see if it was ready and they show no record of it being ordered and obviously can't reach them to see if its the website or if they really don't have it. My husband isn't well and NEEDS his heart medication and doesn't need this aggravation. We will definitely be changing pharmacies - should have a long time ago! I also called corporate a few months ago and got a bunch of lip service about how they'll pass it on to the district manager - no changes. Yes, I know staffing is short and times are hard - but these people just don't care. If they're not going to answer their phones, figure out a way to let people know that without wasting hours on the phone. And its not like you breeze thru the drive thru. You can wait a half hour easily in line and even when you get to the window, you can wait 10-15 minutes before they even acknowledge you. A couple months ago, we were at the window and we waited while 2 female employees talked - 1 had her purse over her shouldered her coat on and was obviously leaving - and they were talking and laughing for at least 10 minutes! Unbelievable!!! Agree with all reviews that say when you come to pick up medicine they say to come back in 15 - 60 minutes. That may be how they fill prescriptions. Oh they're here - ok, we'll fill it now - 10 days after its ordered. Who knows their thinking!? read more

My family fills many prescriptions at this store...well, we used to because I am switching them all to another store. My doctor calls in prescriptions and I never hear if they are filled or not. At present, I am sitting on hold to talk to the pharmacist...just to ask where my scripts are. My Dr. called them in 5 days ago. I've been on hold right now for 1 hour and 7 mins. I used my son's phone to call the front of the store to ask them to tell the pharmacist to pick up the phone. She told me there was only one person back there and they're slammed. I told her that was obvious, but I am a customer and need assistance as well... She told me to come in. Just to find out my RXs aren't ready yet and I can wait in the store for another hour for them to fill them?? No thanks! I'm done with this horrible store. I'm going to contact the GM for this store and tell them to get some help for the store or something! This has been going on for about 6 months now. If I could give no stars, I would. read more

After being dismissed after 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday from the hospital my daughter and I ourselves ragged looking for a pharmacy that would have a starter pack for the prescription I needed to start taking that evening. The pharmacy that the hospital had located for me (at my suggestion) was no longer on my insurance list. And rather than pay 700 dollars that would not apply against my deductible the pharmacy suggested that we find a CVS and have them call them to have the prescription transferred. So after several phone calls to various CVS pharmacies that went unanswered we found Amy at 144th and Maple. She gave us the name of a CVS pharmacy that had starter kits and she would call the original pharmacy and have the prescription transferred to CVS. So off we went to the CVS pharmacy Amy has suggested only to find that they had closed at 2 PM due to staffing shortages. My daughter said let's go talk to Amy at 144th and Maple. She was hoping that we could get a least get 2 pills just to get me through until the next morning when pharmacies would be open longer hours. When we arrived Amy had left for the day but then we met my hero Randall Ofori RPh. He checked and found my prescription had been transferred and though they had no actual starter kits he said that's simple a started kit is just 2 pills twice a day for 5 days and then 1 pill twice a day thereafter...........and he filled my prescription. I was so relieved. I live in Omaha. Don't know where Yelp came up with the Arkansas location. read more
