Then when I went to check out, there was no one in sight. I strolled up and down the check out area for a few minutes and finally an employee came out to run the register. I imagine management wants the check out people busy stocking shelves just to utilize their time, but it's annoying to customers. Perhaps a bell to ding on the counter would alert staff more quickly that someone wants to check out.

The interior of the store, unfortunately doesn't fare any better. I was genuinely surprised to find trash strewn in the aisles. Even the floor of the pharmacy wasn't that clean. This place really needs a bit of a scrub! Discarded food products, and filthy refrigerator shelves question me whether I would buy from this location moving forward. Shelves were not very organized and disorganization did not extend to restocking inventory. While the store is now a 24 seven operation, the pharmacy does have limited hours including a complete shut down at midday for lunch for the entire staff.
