9/22/25, I arrived to pick up 4 prescriptions sent by the hospital, upon arrival 3 out of 4 prescriptions were ready for pickup. The pharmacy manager, Alycia Phillips, told me I could "just buy it over-the-counter" in which I explained, the patient has an insurance that will cover the cost and the patient does not have the funds to pay out of pocket, therefore is asking the pharmacy to fill it. Alycia states, come back in about 20 minutes and it'll be ready.
9/23/25, I arrived to pickup the 4th prescription and the employee at the window stated they did not have the 4th script. I advised her of my interaction yesterday and she checked again, this time with Alycia, and returns to re-state they do not have the script. After checking with Alycia, again, she returns to say they have found the script but do not have the medicine in stock and asks me if she would like me to check other locations, which I agreed to. She asks I come back through the drive through while they are checking. I leave the line and get back in line. 3 cars later, I'm back at the window. The employee advises me, Alycia says the only pharmacy who carries the prescription is on 108th and Fort, the other side of town. I asked if they could check with the pharmacy across the street or one of the several other pharmacies near 90th and center. She asks if I'd like to talk to the pharmacist, which I agreed to. Alycia appears at the window and advises me she cannot call any other pharmacy and they would not give me a script to take somewhere else because it is "an electronic script". I asked her to check with other pharmacies and she says she can't. I explained that I understood she does not have an electronic system to check another company's pharmacy inventory and asked if she could call the competitor pharmacies to ask if they have it in stock since she has the script and knows what to ask for so if they have it, she could send the prescription over to another pharmacy. She replies, again, "I can't". I asked why, she replies she "can't."
Alycia clearly is not about doing what is right for the patient or the company she represents. Her business card says she is the "Pharmacy Manager" but as long as she's managing this pharmacy, I would not recommend it to anyone. After wasting an hour of my life working alongside Alycia trying to advocate for the patient, Alycia failed the patient. read more
