This is a great older store from the 2000s. They did recently give it a facelift and put new asphalt and tar down in the parking lot which helped smooth a lot of things over. The pharmacy is my go to spot. They are quick, efficient and friendly which I appreciate. :D read more

First of all the cut of hours the pharmacy is open was totally a money grab by the corporation. Pharmacist are over worked and causes delays and rushed visits Staff are never pleasant at 108 & Fort they failed to run my prescription through my insurance and her reply was we are going to lunch you will have to come back tonight. She didn't even ask if I needed it sooner. Years ago Walgreens was the best and there was always one open late for those emergencies, now they only care to get through their shift and leave. I'm transferring my meds to CVS with hopes they can provide better service. This will be my first pharmacy change in 40 years. read more

Where is the nearest 24 hour drug store in West Omaha? It's the Walgreens off of 132nd and West Center Road, near Zio's Pizza. Even at 3 am, there are alert employees who will ask how you are doing. The card section was impressive, this must of have been recently refilled since I have never seen so many cards available at a store. My snickers candy bars were in sale and I had to snag a few for the road. The facility is bright, clean, and well organized. This was my first visit to this Walgreens and it's nice to know this is a 24 hour store but the pharmacy won't open until 9 am on most mornings. read more

It seems to me that Walgreens hasn't changed for 30 years or more. They have a little bit of this a little bit of that. Most importantly they have all your pharmacy needs. The place really isn't somewhere I ever want to go, they are a little overpriced but on occasion if I need to, they usually have what I'm looking for. What out for the bums urinating in the parking lot early on Saturday mornings. I guess that just happens when you're open 24 hours. read more

Oral surgeon E-scribed amoxicillin , Peridex and pain medication for my daughter at 08:00am. I arrived at 11:20 am to pick up meds and 2 of the 3 were ready. The staff took it upon themselves to make one of the meds a "waiter". Why? when these prescriptions were all sent over together. The lack of common sense just baffles me. Walgreens has had 3 hours to fill these meds and now I get to wait another 30 minutes for the "waiter" med to be filled. After my name is finally called, I get to stand in line for another 20 minutes while the one cashier rings up the line of customers. Sooo frustrating! read more

I am a BIG fan of Walgreen's. They were the first major drug store to realize that they could actually stand alone and do a great deal of business- that they didn't need to be anchored to a grocery store plaza to draw a crowd of their own. The stores I have been to usually have a great selection, and generally employ a very competent pharmacy staff. I have been a client of this (132nd & Center) location since we moved back here in '04, and it was great up until a year or so ago. The store is not as clean as it used to be- not long ago a man in line in front of me even found blood on a bottle of soda he was buying. The store staff is less than friendly, and they gossip and complain about other employees right in front of you at the register. This has happened twice while I have been there. Surprisingly, both times, it was a lady of advanced age gossiping about personal issues of other employees to a superior as if I wasn't there. Very strange and unwelcome in my shopping experience. I have stopped going to this location, instead frequenting the drugstore across the street which has very high prices and a weak selection of items. I wish this Walgreen's would get their act together so I could go back. Please keep in mind that my review is solely regarding the store staff and not the pharmacy, as I have had no experience with them. read more

They are all very unclean looking and I would not feel comfortable around them in public because many of them are sketchy! I went in quick to buy Mucinex and Sudafed. Mary was super friendly without being too over the top and annoying. When leaving, I dropped my security badge from work and she ran outside into the parking lot on December 2nd to bring it to me! She was so sweet! Walgreens is famous for their advertising of products that they do not have in inventory...Also, FALSE advertising...yesterday, I went to the Walgreens on 156 and Maple to buy Cover Girl cosmetics...the ad says Buy $20 worth and get $10 in Register Rewards on qualifying items....so I get more than $20 worth and head to the cash register to find the absolute dumbest cashier in the universe. She does not know what the ad says ( even after reading it) and does not know if my purchase qualifies....she thinks so, so I buy it. Of course it does not print out the register rewards but the cashier says I have $2.00 on my account and points to the receipt. In other words, I do not get the $10 with this purchase. Why does Walgreens hire the Village Idiots to work there? So, I go to the other register and return the purchase. They had also advertised Perrsil for $1.99 with a coupon....and ONCE AGAIN NO PRODUCT. I went out to my car and deleted the Walgreens App from my phone. CVS is the place to take your business. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. I was visiting Omaha from out of state and cut my foot on the rusted tip of a cut off parking meter pole in the historic district (What the hell, Omaha?! Take care of that!) I had no idea when my last tetanus shot was and it was about 10 PM at night when it happened. Because of the time, not many clinics were open and it wasn't so urgent I needed to go to the ER. I Googled "tetanus" and "Omaha" and Walgreens popped up, so I decided to give it a try. I had been there previously for a flu shot, but had no idea they offered other booster shots like tetanus. I was seen immediately by the Walgreens pharmacist Mark, who made me feel welcomed and comfortable right away. He talked me through insurance and put my mind at ease. Highly recommend! I guess employees of this store "hate people like me" .. you know the ones who are trying to shop while the employees are standing in the aisles chatting about their health issues. You know, maybe I was a little short in my reaction, but when you continually have to try to view products around the chatting employees it can be very annoying. Guess next time I will ask them nicely to do their jobs and work instead of talk. read more

Horrible, horrible experience. After 2 emails and calls from the store to order photographs they could not find them when I went to the store to pick them all up. If you want inefficiency and headaches, go to this store. If you don't want frustration, go to any one of thousands of other options to have your photos printed. read more

Excellent customer service. They did not have the item I was looking for (in memory cards) but the staff checked their stock, offered alternatives, and even offered to look up specific UPC codes for the alternatives I was considering online. I absolutely would shop there again, just for the customer service provided. read more

I had a prescription filled that took several days for the pharmacy to fill. Total cost $650.99; my share of cost $228.93. I got home and set it and several other items on the kitchen counter as I went to answer the phone. A couple of hours later, I returned to the kitchen and started to clear off the counter. As I opened my prescriptions, I noticed the very expensive one needed to be refrigerated. It would have been nice if someone had told me that. read more
