Then a prescription is called in by our dental office it is usually not filled and and our patient goes to get it there is regularly no record of it. When we chose to speak to pharmacist we are sent to the useless voice mail anyway. And when we left a message at front of store, where they say they will call you back in an hour, they don't. No human element. I always recommend to patients who have trouble there that they switch to a small pharmacy with much more reliable customer service. I will take my lunch break walking over, in the ice, to see if they have taken care of the latest Rx for our next patient. Very frustrating service. read more

Pharmacist usually grumpy and not helpful. Staff usually not friendly except for some cashiers sometimes. But hardly any staff usually so self checkout is standard. And why is store always messy and dirty? Makeup aisles not aesthetic. read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I have had so many issues with prescriptions that I don't even trust them anymore to fill them correctly. Never answer the phone, always understaffed, takes days to fill anything. They also only fill your prescription if you call. Most pharmacies will fill it when a doctor calls it in. Not this place! I have to then call them again to request they fill the prescription they just received. No one compares to how bad they are. read more

I was here to pick up antibiotics for my toddler. CVS wanted my phone number to share with their partners about marketing opportunities i.e. spam calls. I didn't want this and the pharmacy technician said it was required. When the pharmacist came by, the tech announced to the store I was going on a tirade, then reached over to the card scanner and accepted the agreement for me to accept spam calls. With so many competitors in the area, I have no problem never using CVS again. I don't need spam and I don't need a pharmacy tech to insult me in front of the store when she is frustrated that I won't agree to accept spam calls. I now use Walgreens. read more

This used to be such an easy place to refill prescriptions. Not now. The app wouldn't let me log in because of "technical issues." When I called, I was on hold for 13 minutes and 4 minutes and NOBODY EVER PICKED UP THE PHONE. To make matters worse, they have this distorted tape loop playing awful music while the recorded message repeats over...and over... read more

Management is wonder. He is a warm, friendly, and cares about his customers. The staff are mostly friendly. I had one incident where an associate made a rude sarcastic comment on my purchase which was uncalled for. The store is well organized and everything is easy to find. While convenient location-wise, I've been very disappointed by how unthoughtful and inefficient this staff is. My first job out of school was in customer service at Bloomberg and so it is always a shame when I encounter a team that cares little for the customer. It usually takes 2-3 days to fill a prescription and I always get grumpy pharmacists who are on the defense no matter how polite and patient you are - inevitably making you wait longer and jump through hoops to get a basic prescription. CVS PHARMACY IN OLD GREENWICH DENIED AN 85 YEAR OLD ALZHEIMERS PATIENT HER LIFE-SAVING PRESCRIPTIONS! On 3/14/2021 Mr. Karem Sharma, pharmacist at CVS, denied my mother her essential medication and would not lift a finger to help. She has been a loyal customer of CVS Old Greenw2ich for over 25 years! We use "CVS Simple Dose" for her 9 medications. The March monthly shipment was mistakenly delayed by CVS, so delivery is not until later this week. This left a potentially lethal gap of about 3 days where she would have no medication (heart, blood pressure, etc...). This could be lethal. Instead of showing empathy and trying to help get an old woman her needed pills, Mr. Karem Sharma said to me, "CVS simple dose is not part of CVS and I cannot help you--call the 800 number". He was smug and abusive and did nothing to help. Of course CVS Simple Dose is the same company as CVS. For a pharmacist to show no concern that an elderly and infirm customer is going to miss her needed medicine because of a CVS shipping error is unbelievable to me. He should not be a pharmacist and should not be in a position in the health care field. Pharmacist Karem Sharma sold me 3 out of 9 pills for $90 out of pocket. For the other 6 prescriptions he provided nothing....... We were forced to supply my 85 year old mother with expired medicines and she is skipping 2 others! I understand that shipping mistakes occur. I am incredulous that CVS Old Greenwich cares so little for an elderly patient who is their customer of 25 years. I spoke with store manager, Mr Shahinara Khatun who was no help, nor was the absent head phramacist, Ramadeep Kaur. Needless to say I will be re-thinking my business with CVS and especially CVS Old Greenwich on Soundview Avenue. read more

Where to begin.... I have never had a good experience with this pharmacy, and it's purely from a customer service standpoint. I gave them a good six months of a trial run, and each time I would come in for my monthly prescription it was an argument for one reason or another. The pharmacists are rude, completely impatient and lazy- I had to ask multiple times for them to help me to figure out how to locate another CVS with my script in stock (after they called to tell me mine was already stocked in their own store!!!!!!), and somehow they always act irritated when called upon to help customers. I have worked in retail all of my life and I know what good customer service looks like and how to make it happen. These guys really are terrible- I now go out of my way to find another pharmacy to use. I have to drive further, it is a little more inconvenient, but I can't imagine spending any more money with these people. I will never go back. read more

Always a problem getting my prescriptions. ALWAYS an attitude from the pharmacists for over 4 years since I've been a patron. One female pharmacist is particularly salty ALL the time- plenty of pharmacies, no need to deal with this type of customer service. read more

I ordered a "next day" photo book on CVS.com as a special gift but there was a problem with the store's printer. I needed it right away and the manager, Mostafa was great and called CVS.com and worked with them to find another store to have it printed and I got it in time! He and the whole staff at the CVS in Old Greenwich were so nice! read more

We started going to this pharmacy when our small, locally owned drug store shut down. I was nervous at first because you shouldn't expect a HUGE corporation like CVS to give you the small town feeling you get with a mom and pop store. Man was I wrong. The staff at the pharmacy are warm and welcoming and greet many by name as they walk up to the counter. I am very pleased with the service. read more
