I joked with her that it was a part of my early Easter basket of goodies. I've already tried some of the travel sized samples. :-) I came in particularly for nail supplies ie clippers and cuticle products. Low n behold the super nice attendant unlocked the product for me and then she informed me of the BOGO deal happening for anything in that section. Lo and behold I had already had another item that I was getting from there! The section was neat and tidy too. Always a bonus. So I got the BOGO deal, used my CVS rewards cash and left spending less than 4 dollars on probably $30 worth of product if regular priced. All three staffers that we encountered this day were super nice and they each went above and beyond to be helpful.

The pickup window doesn't deal with insurance info so they sent me to another line after waiting in line for window D to input insurance info. The only saving grace is if you have a bar code then you can get in the express line which is significantly faster but even then sometimes there's a line for that. Also the floors are dirty. No one vacuums? Granted the 1 star I'm giving is for the friendly staff. But maybe they're understaff or their system is just not very efficient.

I had somehow mistakenly thought the lights under the bill acceptors were the out of service lights...anyway, I would probably not return because there's always homeless outside the store, making it very inconvenient because of how sketchy it feels. I came here instead of walking to Winco, which is kind of far for a night walk since I have a busy work schedule on the weekends. The gentleman working the register was kind enough to give me $2 worth of quarters in change, but he did ask to me tell people not to come to the 7-Eleven asking for coins, which is fair. But in any case, I'm relieved he did it for me because I'm on a time crunch, but I do feel really stupid and bad for making him worry about that because I know what it's like to be a cashier at night. All in all though, I do love 7-Eleven and their store brand of iced green tea is not that bad.

I ended up being followed by an absolute psychotic predator and at the last moment ran into Wisconsin Market where thank god- Ray was working. He took one look at me shaking almost crying and asked what was wrong. I managed to get out a coherent enough sentence to explain what was happening and he just grabbed a wooden bat from behind the counter ran outside and swung it at my stalker who took off running. Ray told me to run home immediately and chased the guy down the St screaming he messed with the wrong girl. I made it home safely that day because of Ray. Less than two weeks later I went back to Wisconsin and Ray was working again, when he saw me he got real serious and called me over to him. To my horror he showed me 3 photos of the guy who'd followed me asking if that was him- when I confirmed he told me that a week ago he'd dragged another woman down an alley way only two streets away from my house beat her and tried to grape her. He was stopped when two marines heard the woman screaming came to her aid and beat him up and subdued him till cops came. Ray gave me the DAs card who wanted my testimony of what had happened to me. I don't know what came of it as the story was never in the news or anything but thank God the Marines saved that woman in time. Also thank God Ray was working that day as he saved me and possibly even my life that day. I just wanted to give him the recognition he deserves.

The cashier was pretty talkative/flirtatious with the ladies in front of me which was annoying because I just wanted to get the heck out of there, as did the growing line behind me. Once it was my turn, I put my three lottery tickets on the counter. The cashier (I think his name tag said Alex) said that he didn't have any money left to pay out lottery tickets. He was being such a doofus with the other customers so I assumed he was only kidding. I laughed and waited for him to say he was joking. He didn't. I asked how he had no cash at all while running a business. He said he had cash for other customers, just none for lottery winners. He hadn't even asked how much my tickets were! For all he knew, it was $3! I asked him why he allowed me to wait in that long line when he saw me scanning my tickets as soon as I came in. He didn't answer. I remembered the last time I went in a few months ago, they said the same thing about not having money to pay lottery winners. I am going to contact the lottery commissioner because this seems super scammy. They'll sell you the tickets, but will make you go elsewhere to cash them. I hope people stop going to this place as they seem super shady!
