This CVS has a drive-thru, but every time I've come to pick up medications, it's been closed. That defeats the purpose and adds extra time to an already slow process. The lines inside are usually long, and there doesn't seem to be much effort to move things along efficiently. Unlike other CVS locations I've visited, the pickup counter here often feels understaffed and disorganized. I understand that filling prescriptions takes care and accuracy, but customer time should also be valued. Hopefully, they get the support and staffing they need soon to improve the experience. read more

Never come to this CVS for the pharmacy, you will wait 45+ mins just for a pick up line. Pharmacists have the slowest response system and need help for every transaction. I understand they're busy but they're very well staffed and still manage to be unable to fulfill a minor prescription. I came to CVS Pharmacy for help with a prescription drug coupon and was assisted by a technician named Frank. Instead of being professional, he was loud, rude, and belittling -- and he did this in front of other customers and staff. I was polite the entire time and never gave him any attitude, yet he still spoke down to me and made me feel humiliated. I don't know why he couldn't have a little patience with me. I was simply asking for help, and the way he treated me honestly left me feeling like crying. No customer should ever be embarrassed or disrespected like that, especially in a pharmacy where compassion and professionalism should be the standard. Because of this experience, I will never ever be going back to this CVS location. On the other hand, I want to recognize Paul at the CVS on Rosecrans -- he was very professional, patient, and kind. He showed me how customers should be treated, which only made the behavior I experienced with Frank stand out even more. Pharmacy drive through is closed when it shouldn't be. Pharmacy doesn't notify you when prescriptions are ready most of the time or else there's always a communication issue between this pharmacy and the doctor's office. On top of this, last year I bought 5 gift cards and ALL of them had been tampered with and I only found out when my family members went to redeem them and couldn't. So embarrassing and a waste of hundreds of dollars. Ghetto parking lot and all around terrible. read more

The worse pharmacist ever. The Asian lady and the Indian lady need to be terminated asap. They treat everyone so rude and disgusting like if they're mad their whole family are probably doctors, surgeons, and they got stuck at CVS LOL and As far as I know and knew your guys pharmacy closes at 8 right? So why when I ask for help at the pharmacy the Indian lady first remark was " you know we close at 8 right" as if it's nots 7:20pm. Not only that I was sent her after spending hours at the er due to a kidney stone and need my medicine that was sent by doctors only reason I came to get them. Just rude and incompetent I can tell the Indian lady takes out the hate she has for her life and job on customers. Also having someone that speaks proper English where they can actually be understood by customer would be way appreciative. I don't usually leave a review but the pharmacist here is rude or they need better customer service. I called in regarding prescriptions. Yes I realized I call the wrong CVS location and was confused and had a couple questions about transferring medication to a different CVS. I apologized. At the end of my call I said thank you so much to her which resulted in her hanging up the phone loudly with out a bye or acknowledging of my thank you. I understand you get calls and deal with people that can be stressful but if you can't handle your job or have good customer service then pick a different field. read more

This is the WORST CVS I've ever been to. It's unbelievable how long you will stand there while their associates walk by and completely ignore your existence time and time again. They move at the pace of a snail and have horrible customer serves-- if you can even get one of them to acknowledge you. I received poor customer service. The technician favored Hispanic speaking people vs though standing in line waiting their turn. At no time did the technician acknowledge the customers in line before helping the non English speaking person who walked up to the counter rather than being told to stand in line like the rest of us. Then I was dismayed to hear that my prescription was returned to the shelf even though we received a text this morning saying that it was ready. CVS always has what I need, and this particular store is always clean and plenty of parking. As for CVS, I love their couponing system. The associates at this store are always really friendly. I also like that they put up with my crazy couponing ways. They don't really hassle me for making different transactions to get the most out of the deals. read more

Repeatly meds are out. Ask for them 6 day before you run out and still they can't order to get them in time. Last pharmacy I used always had them. But because my drug insurance company purchased CVS they require I go here after telling me not to go here when a previous purchase attempt fell through and it still cost more than last year. Much more!! I will pick up tomorrow but leave meds behind because this month's cost 2x as much as last month. Which cost 10 x as much as last year. read more

Beware for this lady that comes into your store I say this in jest no, I am the Norwalk Coupon Lady. I had the most wonderful experience with the sales associate name Henry. Now when I spot good customer service you better believe I know what I'm talking about since I've had years experience of being a mystery shopper. The lady who has coupons from the newspaper from the internet and of course the kiosk and online I am the dreaded person you do not want to be behind nor do you want to be the cash register associate who has to tend to me because guaranteed there's going to be a glitch in one of these coupons. Usually has no problem being rude and short with me. The one on the counter, I know better than to go to that store, This floor on the other hand has an associate by the name of Henry and yes my coupons didn't go through there were glitches here and there but guess what he never stop smiling he never got rude and he stayed very respectable the entire time got impatient with me. Whoever hired this young man sure knew what they were doing because he is wonderful.. I realized customer service is one of the hardest jobs because you can get some pretty rude customers but that's why you have to have people persons and he is definitely one so kudos to you Henry keep up the good work. This pharmacy deserves the lowest rating possible. Use this pharmacy at your own risk. They first told me my prescriptions were ready to pick up so I waited in a long line and by the time I had the bag in my hand I hurried home. At home I opened the bag and found one Rx only. Due to my medical background, I immediately knew that they had incorrectly given me a drug that was inappropriate for my illness and also potentially hazardous. I phoned them and told them and also asked for my other Rx which they told me was not ready for refill. This was a new Rx, not a refill. It has been a week today and after numerous phone calls to my Dr. and CVS. I finally got my medication, but only because I had my Dr. call another pharmacy. The other pharmacy filled both prescriptions correctly in 10 minutes. read more

I have been meaning to write this for a while and it's not easy to write this especially since this is a neighborhood business. But I feel I should. Let me start out by saying this is mainly for the pharmacy. I give two stars instead of one because most of the staff is great. Michael was amazing but haven't seen him lately. But the last time I had to call about my prescription, I had the misfortune of speaking to the female pharmacy manager. Everything was going fine until she asked if I was going to pick up my prescription because I waste her time filling a prescription and not showing up. I had to say Excuse me? And once again she said what she said and I responded and she began to argue with me and we were speaking over each other. Not professional at all and I had to ask her if she likes arguing with customers. It does not seem the pharmacy wants me as a customer. So let me say why I don't pick up my medicine on time. There are times their drive thru line is very long or even with one or two cars it takes a while. It might have to do with Covid testing. Not sure. When I got a text that it was the last day to pick up, I drove by and it was a holiday so they appeared closed from my view of when I drove by. I could have been wrong. I spoke to the store manager who apologized for what happened and it seems like they are used to hearing this type of complaint. By the way, let me say that I work in customer service and I make appointments for people on the phone. There are people who don't show up for their appointments. But when they call again, I don't ask them if they will show up or tell them they make appointments and don't keep them. That is not professional. I don't know why this store does not like me. Maybe because of my race and the fact that I have Medi-Cal. Insurance has been an issue before. I was told on one visit maybe I should fine a different CVS but this one is close for me. If I have to, I will. I would love to talk to the other pharmacy manager Brian about what I can do to be a better pharmacy customer if needed but just be cool about it. I really need my medications and want to make sure things are being done professionally. I had another prescription and they said it would be ready the next day and here it is almost two weeks or more and it's still being processed. Thanks a lot! read more

Last Friday, I made an appointment for a flu shot today and they called me saying that they didn't have it but to call again today. I called sometime between 1-1:30 pm to make sure they have it and they said to come after 2:30 because that's when they get off lunch break. So when I arrived, they told me that they don't have an appointment on their computer so I had to wait longer even though I showed my email confirming my appointment. The supervisor was also rude to me and her pharmacy techs. It didn't help that I had to raise my voice because the supervisor couldn't hear me through my mask. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is because one of the pharmacy techs was nice to me and gave me a coupon since my insurance doesn't cover it. read more

Friendly employees :) I'm not a big fan of CVS due to prior experiences, but this place is great! I like that the times I've been here (past 9:00pm) it's always empty. The place is kept well organized, the employees are very friendly and helpful. They sometimes have some sweet deals, I recently purchased a deodorant than usually costs me a little less than $10 for half the price, yup, I ended up buying two. Make sure to use your Extra Care CVS Card for special deals, oh and don't forget to scan your card for those coupons. Sometimes they have a $5.00 off of a $15.00 purchase. Sweet! I wanted to give this CVS 5 stars, but the pharmacy sent my Rxs to another pharmacy in Paramount in error and this was my first time using CVS. My past impressions of CVS were not good as the one on Long Beach Blvd is a 1 star to me. This store is clean and in good order. The pharmacy staff is helpful in many ways, and they are pretty quick to fill Rxs. I need to explore the store a little more and check staff, to see how they are in customer service. When I arrived to the store, Daniel welcomed me & asked me if I needed help. At the moment I told him I didn't need any. However while I was there I couldn't find any ice cream cones therefore, I asked Daniel if they sold any ice cream cones and he said they didn't have any at the moment. When I was paying for my stuff he asked if I'd like to apply for a cvs card I told him not now but get the deals I had seen I changed my mind. He was very friendly during the process and asked for a second register to be open for the other costumers. I went in today to purchase some items with coupons today at this locations on Studebaker Rd/Alondra Blvd . The guy that was in there ringing up people was so unprofessional, he kept trying to flirt with the other female customers and was taking longer to assist us because of this, then when its our turn to be rung up, he couldn't figure out how to use the coupons and said I was limited on the number of transactions I can do which I have never heard of at any other CVS, I told him I was ok to go back in line and he made it seem like that was not possible. He had a hard time with the coupons so he had to call the manager, Angel who was a lot more rude than he was. He did not want to give me the full value of a coupon and said I can call corporate if i had an issue that no one would give me the value I wanted at any other CVS (mind you my husband had purchased the same item that same week at another CVS with no issues), he wanted to give me the item at the regular price and subtract the sale price, etc.. I dont even know what he was doing with his calculations he probably made up in his head but was trying to give me half the coupon value. He was just rude and very unprofessional. Did not have good customer service skills at all. He rung up my co worker after my purchase and was just as rude to her. When he was done ringing us up, he did not want to help the next people in line even though the line was super long. He said to the next person in line that the other cashier can help them then put a sign that implies hes closed and quickly removed it and rung up the people. I dont know how CVS employees these people and worse makes them managers. I guess they don't have mush standards for their staff. read more

I have been a Customer of cvs for about 10yrs. Usually go to the one on Rosecrans, which is going down the drain too. Rosecrans did not have the medication I need it. My mother was in a lot of pain. Took the prescription yesterday at 1 o'clock it is now going to be 4 o'clock next day and still have not got my prescription. Knowing that this medication is for pain they did not make the effort to recontact the doctor for information that was required.
