Our family of three uses this CVS location quite a bit, and overall we've had a good experience. Prescriptions from my doctor are usually filled within a few hours, which is always appreciated when you need something quickly. The pharmacy staff has consistently been friendly and helpful. My only reason for giving four stars instead of five is that wait times can get pretty long during busy hours. If you can, I recommend going later in the evening. Since they're open 24 hours, I usually pick up prescriptions at night, and it's much easier and less stressful. The store itself is clean and well organized. They also offer photo services, which has come in handy a few times, and there's a USAA ATM on site, which is convenient. One tip: definitely download the CVS app. There are always coupons available, and I've saved quite a bit with the 40% off offers and other deals. For once, just once, I'd like to go into ANY CVS and be able to find someone to help me find things. That's it. The lack of staff in these places is so bad that I don't care if that person is rude or polite, happy or angry, etc., so long as they know where something is. read more

On my last 2 visits to pick up my medications, I experienced a major lack of professionalism and poor customer service. My insurance information was not added to my medication for this visit or the last one. During my most recent visit, when I raised a concern about the insurance issue, the pharmacy technician was rude, condenscending, and extremely unprofessional. read more

My husband and I use this pharmacy a lot! If I had to rate the pharmacy by itself, I would give it 3 stars. Whenever our doctors call in a prescription, it takes hours to fill. I went one time to pickup and after 7 hours, it still wasn't ready! The people that work here are very nice, but expect to have a wait on any prescriptions. It's nice that they are open 24 hours. As far as the store area goes, I give it 5 stars! Neat, clean, wide variety of products and great deals. Download the app and you can save so much money on tons of items in here! I've used this CVS for my prescriptions for years. I mean the place has Pharmacy in the name, it's gotta be good to use!! Well it's not the case anymore... They actually remodeled the inside and added three stations for a pharmacy assistant to be able to ring you up, but I've never seen more than one person helping customers. And the drive thru. Forget about it! It's always 3-5 cars deep at all different times of the day. So to keep my sanity, I'll be moving my scripts across the street to the Publix. read more

Okay- so I've shopped in the store, used the pharmacy and used the minute clinic. All in all, mediocre. The minute clinic is great. Prompt, helpful and easy to figure out with the check in system. The pharmacy is rude. I feel like every person I've dealt with back there is miserable and just doesn't care about the customer at all. They're very unhelpful and if you ask them any questions, you feel as though you are bothering them. The store is clean and organized, with friendly staff at the front. I am always greeted and they always ask if I need any assistance. I appreciate that. I will continue to use the minute clinic at this location because I like the NP there and have had no issues, but will most likely use another location for the pharmacy and store. read more

My family and I have been clients of this location for decades. Throughout the years new people have come and gone and each round of new pharmacy techs brings less and less customer service! It has been awful as of late with techs not being attentive to ringing up customers or having attitudes for simply being asked questions regarding medications (which is their job). At this point my entire family will be looking for another pharmacy outside of the CVS network altogether! read more

CVS Pharmacy on Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston is a great drug store and pharmacy that is convenient and makes things easier for their customers. I really enjoy shopping here and all of the selection of items that they have to offer at a good value and price. The doctor at the minute clinic is amazing. I've been here a couple times for a bad cold or sore throat and it's always fast and easy. Came here this morning because I was having issues reaching my doctor to get a prescription filled, she helped me out and got me what I needed, within 30 minutes. I will continue to come here for not-super-serious health issues. It's fast and the doctor is just really wonderful and nice. read more

I was in there Thursday Night/ Friday morning. The cashier name was Everett. When I tell you he went above and beyond to help me with my baby's formula and other items he did just that, to the point of googling the formula to make sure it didn't have any milk base. He even tried to promote sales which I didn't budge on that, but he did everything he was suppose to and more. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. When that happens it makes a customer want to return. I am a fan of this store not only is the management team amazing but the support staff is awesome oh and it's the only 24 hour CVS on this side of town so convince is always a plus but also they are amazing to coupon with. The pharmacy staff is also amazing my doctor accidently forgot to verify my allergies before I could walk out the doctor office the pharmacy was calling to advise they weren't releasing the meds to me due to allergies. Their pharmacy tends to get back up if the base pharmacy is out of stuff or close for some reason. read more

Finding things is always a hassle and the sales are cryptic at best. I'll stick with Walgreens from here on out.

They do not put a premium on customer service. Free hint to CVS: When someone waits patiently in line at the pharmacy, and the girl checking them out doesn't have the training to process their coupon, they should not be asked to take a seat while the girl gets help with the coupon, placing them BACK in the que, just after 7 or 8 people who are just getting off work, are now in line in front them, forcing them to wait again, now 5 times longer than they did the first time. (P.S. Walgreens is right across the street.) read more

Went here a few days ago during lunch to return a redbox movie and grab a snack and a drink. The usual friendly employees that have been there awhile weren't there it seems for the last few times I've been here. There was one new girl at the cash register and one senior with a handful of printed cvs coupons and a few items in her cart that couldn't have totaled $10-15 at regular prices. They were going back and forth with coupons and the sale circular over this item and that item. I watched 3 people behind me set their items down and leave the store. I finally went to the pharmacy to get my 2 items rung up. On the way out I noticed the same lady still holding up the line with her coupons and I told the frustrated man behind her he could go to the pharmacy register. I'm sure other people like me stopping in around noon are on lunch and have to get back to work. It's ironic that they lost business over a woman who probably ended up paying practically nothing for her items. The store itself has good selection of everything , even grocery type items and electronics . They run good sales on a lot of items and with my CVS card I get good discounts and email notices on coupons available to me. I've even found Christmas presents here in the past like bathrobes, pajama bottoms, electronic items...even wine. There's a photo machine and a drive thru-pharmacy and they are open 24 hrs. Redbox machine is outside. There just needs to be more than one person to ring people up during peak hours or a manager monitoring things to step in during situations like this? read more

I prefer this store to the Walgreens across the street. The employees here are very friendly. It's open 24 hours and is so much more convenient than running to Walmart, 3 miles down the road, in the middle of the night. The only problems I've had here always happen between the hours of 5pm-7pm. Since it's open 24 hours now, I make a point to avoid the pharmacy during those hours. read more

Have went to this pharmacy for years and in the past have been very pleased. Recently they have been staying open 24 hrs and the service has declined rapidly. The pharmacy is utterly inept. I've been trying to fill a prescription for days and the people at CVS can't seem to verify my insurance coverage for some unknown reason. I've called multiple times, my insurance company called them to tell them I was covered with no charge to me, and then finally an employee of the pharmacy called to tell me they verified coverage and I could come in any time. Guess what....l went to pick up my prescription and they couldn't verify coverage, my cost would be $275, and of course, the employee who had called me wasn't there, hadn't documented our conversation anywhere, and when they tried to reach that employee on her cell phone they couldn't. I ended up having to leave. I'm absolutely furious and no one there seemed to care. These people are the worst... read more
