This store is super close to the hotel where I'm staying. It takes less than five minutes by car. I came here to get some beverages. I ended up getting a twelve-pack of Diet Dr. Pepper. This store has everything you need. Fake nails? Yep. Shampoo? Sure. Advil? Yes. Sugar-free candy? Definitely. I was in the hair care section. There were two women getting hair dye. One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. If you do get the munchies late at night, you are better off finding a different place in case it decides to shutter early. (225)

They have clearly made some updates and changes to this location in the past couple of years, and it shows from the condition, layout, selection and even the service. I stopped by for a few items for dinner, but once I got inside, I ended up making a full shopping trip out of it. Its a Market location, so don't expect anything beyond grocery and pharmacy here, which is good with me as that was all I was after! Selection was good, but with the smaller location, they do have fewer products in certain areas. I noticed a few staples in a few areas that I usually get at the larger locations were not carried here. And if it is, the brand or varieties are reduced. However, on the flip side of that, I was impressed with a few specialty items I noted in areas such as fruits and veggies. There were a few empty meat shelves, so I had to pivot on my proteins. Prices are in line with other local Walmart stores, so nothing to compare to there. Condition and cleanliness were solid, and service was surprisingly friendly. Overall, decently impressed with this Neighborhood Market. Will definitely stop avoiding it.

However, the spotty customer service makes me hesitate to recommend it at all. I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). I return here for the location only, but I wish for a more consistently cordial (if not friendly) and efficient experience.

The Downtown Nashville Walgreens…read more In my estimation, this is the one and only Walgreens in Downtown Nashville that is accessible to Broadway. Disparate from other Walgreens that I am familiar with in major tourist centers, this location is underwhelming for alcohol and souvenirs. With regards to this review, I am using "The Daniel. S Yelp Real Time Feature" where I write from my first-hand journaling experience. "June 24, 2025: We are bound for Walgreens. Walking through the Assembly Food Hall we cut off some of the uphill climb up John Lewis Way that is bothering Dad's knees. Now walking up John Lewis Way we are passing by the historic Woolworth Theater and what looks like a Theater District. At the crest of the hill, we step inside the only downtown Nashville Walgreens. At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco, and Denver. Their Nashville caps are overpriced and fail to strike me. They fail to carry the bullet beer (24 ounce cans) that I want to pick up for the hotel room. However, they have cold beverages and snacks that my Dad and Brother are buying. I am headed to Starbucks for my beverage. Toi, who rings up my Dad and Brother, is a friendly and personable Cashier. When we return to the what looks like a Theater District along John Lewis Way, being empty handed of purchases allows me to photograph the Woolworth Theater." My "Real Time Yelp First-hand Feature" elucidates that the Downtown Nashville Walgreens deserves Three Stars.

I arrived at exactly 8pm, as they were locking the door and he told me "come back tomorrow"! And I…read morewould have had no problem with that EXCEPT a technician that was there 20 min prior to closing told me that if I arrived at 8, they would service me. This was a Hail Mary phone call because I was driving from my normal Kroger in Lebanon to this one because they were the only ones that had a medicine I needed in stock and it was the type of medication where I would get physically ill if I did not get it that evening. Due to bad communication with the first Kroger, saying they could fill and then taking that back, I had to frantically call several others to try and find this medication. After a long day of worry, arriving at 8pm on the dot, A very stressed out man (guessing the head pharmacist of the day) began unloading his displeasure with me and the many others that "don't understand we (they) close at 8" and how we must think he doesn't have a life outside of work. I explained to him ALL of the above (including I drove 45 minutes) and he still was telling me how wrong I was to be there at closing time! But once he saw that HIS bad day was also MY bad day too, and that he evoked tears from my eyes he gave in, but I'm 100% confident it's because the closing tech there with him (not the one from the phone call) engaged me lightly in conversation as she was giving him the side eye of disappointment. After he came around to the register, I still heard it from him! He made me feel SO awful, like I was a piece of worthless crap. He was on a hateful course for the evening so it seemed. I feel sorry for the people who have to work with him! Speaking of, 2 stars for the 2 technicians I mentioned. It's the techs that REALLY make or break pharmacies as they are the most client facing and Kroger also fails here on a general basis but these 2 were exceptional. The one on the phone is also who helped me transfer the prescription and he really pushed the other Kroger for me- only he had happened to leave early that night after telling me it was okay to come. I was told he was sent home early. Also, the tech that was with this psycho, who was extremely warm and empathetic, she gets a star for customer service. I will never give money to this pharmacy again!
