If I could give negative stars I would. I have been coming to this pharmacy for 3 years only because they are the only cvs that keeps my daughters meds in stock. Otherwise all my meds I get at target. I absolutely despise coming here. EVERY SINGLE TIME I NEED A SCRIPT SOMETHING GOES WRONG! Not a joke. Here are the excuses/reasons. Not enough pills (even though I called 15 minutes before to check inventory), no insurance (same insurance for nine years), gave me the wrong pills, gave me someone else's prescription, gave me liquid when the prescription is for pills. Now let's mention wait times. I have to physically drop off the script because it is a controlled substance. From 15 minute wait times to waiting a week. Yes. Here are the excuses for that; not enough staff, I didn't drop the script off (even though I have a written receipt which I learned to get), couldn't read my name, didn't know my phone number (for real) All in all, I am actually sitting in the waiting area now. I've been here for an hour while they have been verifying my insurance for the 33rd time. I'm sure they will run out of pills by the time insurance verifies me having the same insurance for 9 years. I don't have prescription insurance, so, I use GoodRx. I had a prescription filled at CVS on 544 in Wylie. I had my GoodRx coupon for $33.00 but CVS would not honor it and charged me $53.00 for my antibiotics. I will not go back there. read more

Only good thing about this place is that they have a 24 hour pharmacy, when you are in a bind. Otherwise, slow and unfriendly service. Unless you have all day/night to hang out here, you might want to consider somewhere else. read more

I check before to come over the schedule and said closed at 10:00pm but but it does not specify that to pick the medicine close at 9:00

We dropped prescriptions off at around 6pm and were told they'd be ready in 45 minutes and we'd receive a text message. It's now 1:30am, my aunt is in a lot of pain and the scripts are not filled. The number is correct because we immediately got a confirmation text after dropping the scripts off. The staff put on a good front but are largely incompetent puffwads. I think a complaint to the BBB is in order because this is ridiculous. Not once, but 5 times this has happened. Not going back ever again! read more

Horrible customer service, I personally use Walgreens but my mother uses CVS, recently she was in an accident so I've had to deal with them. I'm shocked every time I go in they have somebody (customer) pissed off. They don't seem to have it together. I dropped off a prescription was told 15 mins (shockingly) came back in 20min only to be told they didn't have it in stock and I could call around other CVS's to find it.....Walgreens would have done it for me, and he told me they MIGHT get it tomorrow??? read more

Several years ago they were a great pharmacy. Not anymore. Rude pharmacists, techs saying meds will be ready and they don't even have them in stock when you show up, cancelling auto fill prescriptions because the insurance kicks it back and not telling patients or doctor--including when you call in specifically to check. Call anytime and you'll hold minimum 5 minutes, and they've even hung up one me while I was asking a question. read more

I've been getting prescriptions for about 12 yrs now and never have I had such annoyance than I have dealing with this particular cvs. I need my prescription tues, so called it in. On Thursday I didn't hear anything so I went in to see if it was ready. Nope, "didn't get your refill request." So I said okay when can it be ready? 5pm tomorrow... I go in and ITS STILL NOT READY. Not only that but no one wanted to call me to tell me it won't be there till the following Wednesday. The lady didn't give a crap that I needed my refill three days ago... The pharmacist is great, but the staff seems very confused. I brought in a prescription from another pharmacy to be transferred over since our insurance is forcing us to use CVS. The pharmacy tech was very confused. He kept asking me if the prescription was from another pharmacy and if I wanted to transfer it. Yes, that's what I told you, and yes, that's why the pill bottle says "Walmart." He said it would be ready in an hour. Well, it's Sunday and the prescription is out of refills, so that's unlikely. It said "0 refills must contact physician." Oh. Then he ask for the doctor's name. It's printed on the label. The prescription was for arthritis medicine. They didn't ask and I didn't think to specify since Walmart put regular caps on all of my medications -- they put a child-proof top on it that I could NOT get open. It was in a bag so I didn't see the top before I left. I had to take the container to the garage and rip the top off with some channel locks to get my medicine. And they called me four or five times to tell me my prescription was ready and ask if I wanted them to start the refill process that I hadn't requested. I had to call CVS Corporate to get taken off of the "Call every five minutes" list. These people are wearing me out. The pharmacist is great. I just wish she had great people. read more

Slow service. None of the staff speak good English. If I'm sick and in pain it makes it feel OH SO better to wait while they scramble to find my prescription. If it wasn't next door to my Doctor or if it wasn't preferred in my insurance then I wouldn't come here. read more

Had to pick up a prescription around 2:30 am. Not many places are open so I go here and am clearly not feeling well. I go up to the pharmacy window and as I approach, they guy sitting back there says "computers are down" without even looking at me or greeting me. I replied and asked if it was still able to be filled or dropped off. He said he could give me a call or text when it comes on but that this happens often and that it would probably be around 5 am or later. So I'm just supposed to wait around for 3 ish hours in the middle of the night? I would be that upset if he had apologized with a tiny bit of sympathy.... if you have to come here in the middle of the night, call them first! read more

The Wylie CVS has terrible customer service. Rude. Takes them about ten minutes to find my name in the system. They don't call when there are issues filling your script. The pharmacist is rude and always seems scatterbrained. Always a long line. read more

Horrible! I sat in the curb-side pickup for almost 45 minutes the other day...had to go in and get my stuff and expose the Strep germs to everyone. Drop-offs are not reviewed (other than the obligatory DOB question). Collection times are not honored ("Can you circle back after a few minutes?" :(). Despite having filled Rx previously from this location, the insurance data is always apparently missing for my new prescriptions. Very difficult to be positive about the staff at this location when my experiences at other CVS locations have been much better. read more

Went in to return a box of wine with my receipt(Unopened Condition). Make long story short... management did not feel miscommunication is their fault. She actually went through a policy book to try to prove she is right!!! End up she didn't find nothing relate it, but I don't want to waste my time in there! I am a medical assistant in Wylie/Murphy area and I have had multiple patient complaints about terrible customer service. Pharmacy staff is not informative when handling patient's concerns, medications get lost when e-scribing, refills are not followed accordingly, prescriptions and filled incorrectly; the pharmacy process is just not good. Our staff here has had to correct and reissue new prescriptions because of their errors. Sorry but that location is just not good and we unfortunately, at times, will need to suggest newer pharmacies in the area so that we can ensure our patients are taking their medications appropriately. read more

This place is awful for multiple reasons. As all the other reviews have mention the employees can care less about their jobs/customers & it takes forever to get prescription medicine . I would give no stars even negative if possible. Never coming back worse cvs around would rather drive to Walgreens across the street & pay a little more for better service. FYI avoid the night shift their is a ancient old blonde lady who is the worse one of them all. She could careless about your situation & not even try to help out. Well another bad experience at CVS. First they should add a 50 in front of "minute clinic" because it will take that long. When I walked up to the Pharmacy, no other customer was there. I asked to get a flu shot and gave them my info. 15 mins and 5 customers later they call me and ask me to do a survey. Then I was asked to have a seat. Another 20 mins go by and 4 more customers and the head pharmacist ask have I been checked out yet. I said yes. 10 mins later she comes by and says sorry about the wait but we typically don't do flu shots at this time. I guess I should come at 7am like all other flu shot customers. read more

I always come to this location when I need a prescription quickly. I've never had to wait long and they are sways very courteous. I wish all the CVS were this convenient. If this one was open 24hrs I would always come here over the others. read more

I have used this CVS pharmacy for years and one time it satisfactory. My latest experiences left a bit too much time waste and frustration. I realize there are lots of people needing the help of pharmacies. The last thing people want when they are ill is to wait two to three hoyrs for their medications. Also waiting in a drive thru for 34-45 minutes is not satisfactory in my opinion. This pharmacy needs more help during "Peak" times for efficiency. read more

I transferred prescriptions from the Walgreens across 544 because CVS had the 24 hour pharmacy. This pharmacy is always very busy. I like this pharmacy and yet I have had bad experiences at CVS pharmacy the past few times I have gone. They never have enough people working the counter and the person working the drive-through window will help sometimes but she is so busy too. It would be helpful if the pharmacy could get more people to work the counter during the day to avoid long waits in line, especially for those who are in pain or ill and need their medication. Also, my doctor phoned in a prescription and left it on voicemail as directed. When I went to pick up the prescription 3 hours later they had not even checked the voicemail. I like this pharmacy, but they do need to realize that due to how busy they are, they need to staff the counter better. read more

My friend and I just visited this location tonight and had an upsetting experience. When we walked in, one of the store associates, Matthew, informed us that they would be closing in 3 minutes without first offering us a greeting. I've worked in retail before and know how workers can be in a rush to get home so it wasn't a very big deal. When we approached the counter, Matthew was there waiting. I checked out and towards the end of the transaction he asked if I would like to donate to a charity. I said no, but he responded with "Why not? You have a ten dollar bill... I guess you just want all the change." I found it a little rude, but still not extremely upsetting. When my friend (who was waiting behind me) checked out with some Oreos, he continued to explain that he does not agree with the company because they support gay rights and he didn't feel it was right. The remark took both of us by surprise and felt that his expressing of opinion was unprofessional and unwanted. Needless to say, we will not be back. read more
