This Walgreens needs to improve in customer service. Sadly I can't give them a cero. They are just to handle medications but no support, compassion or even care. Some technician needs to understand that patients come to pharmacist because you have a condition and need medication. If the medication is out of counter they don't look it up. They just think the customer should not which one it is. They offer no help. This is the second time I have this problem here. They don't explain or do any extra mile. He did not say he put my card in an envelope stabled under the receipt either. I thought I haven't been here in a long time so give them another chance but no ....they are still rude. a question arose: when I came to the photo department and asked to take 4 photos for documents, four people had to put all this on one USB. They sold me one USB flash drive for each person, which is 6 dollars one, then they said that they could not provide us with a service if we did not print photo, in the end it all came out to $100! is this generally normal? Now I have 4 USB, 4 paper photos, why do I need this? Be very very very careful if you get a prescription filled there or if you go to this pharmacy for a vaccine. My husband was diagnosed with shingles back in June 2022 and my doctor told me to get a shingles vaccine so I did. I just called the Walgreens on the corner of Renner and North star to check and see when do I get my next shot. The person that answered the phone told me I did not get a shingles shot but instead I got a tetanus shot. Now what do I do. Did I really get a tetanus shot or did I really get the shingles shot which is what I went for? An hour or so later, they called my husband's phone and told me they had goofed but that yes I really did get a shingles vaccine. Do I trust them? I really don't read more

PHARMACY DESERVES ZERO STARS! Please do not bring your business here. We went for a flu shot. There were literally 5 people working in the pharmacy and no one attending the customers. Each customer waited 10-15 mins before being helped. Which should have been my sign to walk away! We went in for our flu shots. We had an appointment. We showed up 15 mins before and filled out our forms. We waited for the pharmacist for 40 minutes..And OH MY GOD. I have no idea how he still has his job! He literally looked at my kids and yelled at them to get inside the room. To which I was flabbergasted--my kids (5 and 4) were glued to my side the entire time we waited. So I'm not sure what the hell he was yelling for. He then asked me why I didn't take them to their pediatrician for shots to which I replied because I opted to come here instead.. right away he said if they don't sit still they won't get a shot. Okay, fine..I get it. Uhm.. his nasty demeanor and lack of bedside manners was ENOUGH for me to be scared. I honestly sat there blank while he continued to be rude to us for NO reason. My 5 year old and I got our shots but our 4 yr old was scared. She cried and said she didn't want the shot, to which the pharmacist rudely told her I don't have time for this and I need to get back to work. At this point I asked for another pharmacist and of course there wasn't one. So, we walked out.. at this point I'm in tears because I'm shocked at how rude he was.. and waited in line for another 25 mins for a refund on 4 yr olds shot.. literally was the second person in line... I stopped by this store and they had sanitizer bottles with a limit per person. I tried to buy for me and my wife tried to buy one for her. They refused and I was told it's one per family where the sign clearly says per person. The manager, Hussain, came per my request and he was rude and refused to sell my wife a bottle. I refunded all my purchase including the sanitizer and I hope some one from Walgreens will care enough to explain why we were not treated with respect. read more

This pharmacy could use a good customer service refresher. I have never seen them with much of a line but the pharmacist always seems flustered and stressed regardless. She acts flustered and starts transactions and then hands them off to the the techs. The techs are always polite as well as the store employees. That's why they get the third star. read more

Pharmacist is rude and unprofessional. Went to pick up a prescription, got to the pharmacy at 1:25 p.m. waited less than a minute while another customer picked up his prescription. The pharmacist, who wasn't attending to the other customer, leans over and tells me they are closed, and that they close everyday from 1:30 - 2:00. I told him that was very inconvenient, then asked him what time it was, to which he responded "well if you're going to be like that - what do you need?" I've lived near this pharmacy for 20 years and have used it exclusively during that time. Recently they began delaying prescriptions because they are being ordered from a distribution center and shipped there or they didn't have the medication in stock. While irritating its understandable. The last straw for me came when a prescription was sent in from my doctor and it was delayed almost a week because of a problem they had internally. The reason it was delayed almost a week was that it was sent from my physician early because I had an extended business trip coming up and I had asked my doctor to request the prescription for me 3 days earlier than it was scheduled for as a recurring prescription. The pharmacist would not fill it until the date matched the pick up date from the previous prescription instead of when my doctor requested it. To make matters worse, Walgreens never communicated the delay to me (even though they continuously spam you with their digital garbage emails) until I called them asking why it wasn't filled. I am moving my families prescriptions to another pharmacy that considers customer loyalty something to be earned instead of providing substandard service and taking the attitude that they know what's best for me instead of what my actual physician requests. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location. It used to be incredible and now its just another business that thinks we as customers should be grateful they choose to do business with us instead of the other way around. read more

Don't come here if you're looking for knowledgeable pharmacists. This location has out of date guidance and doesn't seem to care about updating their knowledge. They refused to give a cancer patient the 4th recommended booster of the covid vaccine even though the Walgreens appointment making system allowed us to make the appointment. CDC recommends getting the 4th shot for immunecompromised people 3 months after the 3rd shot and the pharmacist today was rude and dismissive. He insisted it was only after 6 months and when I showed him the CDC website, he told me he didn't care. Not only that, he seemed to have no knowledge of the difference between an actual DOSE and a BOOSTER, insisting they are the same dosing amount of vaccine. Just, wow. We took ourselves to Kroger's Pharmacy and got taken care of instead. Thanks for wasting our time and risking lives, Walgreens! read more

The Pharmacist Marie Mendoza is exceptional, always smiling and always wants to be sure you understand your medication(s). She gives good advice to you and has even offered solutions on more practical financial solutions for certain expensive meds. Jackie works in the front and is my favorite up there. All staff are friendly and hardworking... willing to go the extra mile and help when you ask or need it. No place I'd rather go! read more

To refresh your memory my family and I have been loyal customers since the Renner and Northstar location opened. Since Vianney Bolaños Merkledove left the store has gone to shit. It looks dirty depressing there is uncaring staff - its understaffed. I had to make a return for some skin care items that were not working with a hormonal skin issue I'm having. First they told me I didn't purchase them there - they meaning the afternoon manager and a new gal. I died them to look it up on my Walgreens rewards card - and Volia the items were there. They returned all but one that was on the extra care card but the mid afternoon manager said there were none on the shelf ( tag w sku we on the shelf) it is a NO9 product. Actually one you were featuring. So after all the incompetence I was told I was getting a gift card for the below amount(pictured) and that they would not return the No9. product since they were sold out. Neither the mid afternoon manager or the new employee seemed like they had a clue - I asked them please be sure to check the mount of the GC they said they did and have pd on to the receipt. Well I then ent back to the pharmacy to pick up 2 of the 29 prescriptions I'm on and was going to purchase some other items. Went to usethe gift card and it didn't work the gals at the pharmacy know me well be said I'm sure the GC is fine the system has been wacky all day. I said ok and pd cash. On my way out I asked the manager again if h could check the card he was ride and said it is fine I did it myself. 2 days later I had to drop more scripts and grab some over the counter items and went to use the GC and the same girl that rang me w the GC tow days prior said it didn't irk there was only .28 cents on it. Then she said hoops it must be a mistake let me call the manager he was the same mid afternoon manager that issued the card to me he accuse me of using the card and trying to reuse it obviously you can see the silver thing isn't scratched off the back. He has done nothing about the issue and said there's nothing he can do he basically said it is what it is are you fucking kidding me? It's not the money it's the principal! Horrible terrible I wrote Walgreens and still haven't heard back from them. Absolutely a disgrace! Sad they don't value their customers. read more

I am beyond frustrated at this pharmacist, Toan D. He constantly substitutes his judgment for that of my doctors and insurance company. My doctors send prescriptions, which my insurance company will pay for, but he refuses to fill them because it is "too soon." In March he made me wait because there are only 29 days in February, so I couldn't possibly need it yet. He tries to reason that it's to prevent people from overdosing. What is to keep me from taking the entire month's worth of medication on the day I pick it up? That reasoning just doesn't fly, and I'm tired of being treated like an idiot. He is a service provider. It is not his place to refuse to fill prescriptions that my doctors order until he's good and ready. If my insurance company will approve the fill, what's it his business? Even without the insurance company, if the doctor sends the prescription, WHAT'S IT HIS BUSINESS? This month is the last straw. My doctor sent the prescription, noting that I will run out on 4/19, and Toan will not fill it until 4/20 because that's when he feels like it. He has also LIED. He has told me that he will fill the prescriptions "early" if my doctor's office calls and tells him to. I've had the doctor's office call, and he still won't fill them. Like another reviewer, he also refuses to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I will pick up my prescriptions from this pharmacy on 4/20 and will never return. read more

I called and spoke with a female and asked her not to fill what the doctor sent, that we would use another pharmacy. Seems they filled it anyway and now I can't get his medication. I called the store again, but they have all left. My son has walking pneumonia and needs those steroids. How can there be no resolution? You are talking about someone's health. read more

I lost my engagement ring and I called the store to see anyone seen it the manager went out of her way to look all over even in the parking lot. They got my number incase they find it over night.
