This is like visiting a Walmart in a 3rd world county. The employees do not speak English and are always new, all the time. At least that's what they will tell you. This is their excuse for not knowing where anything is or being able to work their registers. Most are not friendly and try to avoid customers, chat amongst themselves, will offer you their device to type in the product you are asking about, can't efficiently work their registers, always referring people to customer service for assistance when you need something small, like a gift receipt. Self check out is way more efficient. One manager runs back and forth putting out fires, helping employees, trying to assist but never a word for customers. read more

I never go to Walmarts but I needed to pick up 2 items that my conventional supermarkets do not normally carry. As I was navigating down the aisles , I connived a few associates that I wanted to ask for assistance but they avoided making eye contact with me. I know the drill. I found one item just by chance and I found the other item in the automotive section. I was walking slow and leaning on my basket because I recently had a knee replacement surgery. As I picked up the second item I noticed a tall older gentleman in my area. As I walked passed him I looked at him and said hello! He looked at me and did not respond to my greet. As I walked on ... I noticed that he was slowly walking behind me talking on his ear peace . I then noticed other associates that I saw earlier walking by me and looking in my shopping cart. Wow! I think they had the wrong idea about me. If I was greeted and asked me what I was looking for ... I'm sure they would've known my intentions!!! I was out at this location because I had a doctors appointment in the area and it was the biggest mistake in my life walking in this place! Everybody in this Walmart was either a Mexican that couldn't speak one word of English that wouldn't even be able to tell you were the apples were even if you were standing right in front of them so conveniently they would send you on a wild ass goose chase looking for something that should've taken two seconds or Middle Eastern people walking around everywhere with pretty much the same issues. This is what America's come to I guess and we can think the dumbasses running our country right now known as Joe Biden, Kamala, Harris, and Barack Obama, I don't think it's too much to ask to be able to get a job here and be able to communicate two words of the English language but I guess we can't offend anyone. read more

I went in to get a few things.one of them being spray paint. They have the spray paint in locked glass gages. I asked a lady for help she said someone from electronics has to open it. I said great, can you get them for me. She said I am working. I said yes I know, this is why I am asking for help. She walked off. I then asked 2 other people to help me. They said the same thing and walked off. I then yelled, is there anyone in Pain that can assist. Finally a 4th employee showed up, and was able to assist. Then I get the the register. That was a whole new story. Please train your employees about America, and different drivers license. That was a whole 30 minute wait. Then I get asked to show my reciept. Hi, I've been using theccurb side pick up for couple years. I do not like how it over charges you at first on a hold on the account. Then after you pick up order the charge disappears from my bank account 5 days after the purchase and then reappears at the correct amount a few business days later. It's like waiting a week for the correct amount to clear. There's many good deals at Walmart but not the best at curb side accounts. Also, there is less choices for products over all and no good small quantity toilet paper brands. Most of your toilet paper is $10 or more & that's a crazy price. A single person does not want to buy a ten roll pack. I'll shop for paper goods somewhere else. read more

At self checkout after I rang everything up it required an associate to come and verify my age for buying windshield fluid which is fine. I make a comment how it's redundant to have a self checkout if an associate has to come and enter a pin anyways. SUE this old lady cashier comes and says we'll I could just not enter the code and walk away and she realizes how ruse she was so with a nervous laugh she says but I'll do it anyways. I say everyone is so friendly at walmart to tell her I realized the rude comment to where she says well we try to help of some people let us. I mean these are the employees you got working for you? Really? That's the best you can do. A rude old lady who hates her job and runs her mouth? Come on walmart. I'm sure you can do better than this. I had to take 10 mins of time to do this survey. I went in yesterday afternoon because so forgot to bring a lawn chair, to go see firework, and I also needed a citronella candle. The man at the entry was very nice. Nice, kind smile. The store was clean, not too many visible employees though. It took me a while to find a lighter because I didn't have anybody to ask but it's okay, so had some time to kill anyway. Probably the worst Walmart I've ever been to. It's been over 20 minutes and I still haven't received my pickup order. It's not the first time this has happened either. After checking in on their app, I still have to call and beg for my items to be brought out. There have been probably 10 cars pull up, receive their stuff, and leave. We come to Walmart all the time for delivery. Today there were 20 slots filled! And because they're short staffed we waited over an hour, car running, in the OT sun. Now, our order is bigger (30 items) and so others got theirs before us even when they arrived after us. This is because the people who pull the food didn't collect the food correctly. Add the entitled adults who are screaming at these poor kids and you have one gigantic mess. Needless to say you need to reserve hours out of your day for pickup. Prices are just right. I will drive to this store as opposed to going to one in Wylie where I live because the prices are so much lower. An example would be...I got some Ben-N-Jerrys ice cream from WalMart neighborhood market for $2.50 went over to Albertsons and Boom! $3.59 I know that doesn't seem like that big of a deal but imagine most all of your items were at that percentage higher than they would have been at WalMart and you see why it makes sense to shop WalMart every time! read more

This isn't the first time coming in and being told by the same supervisor/floor manager that an item was under the wrong price tag. Either have your employees double check to make sure items are in the right spot or find another way to fix it like bring back the item scanner through the isle. It annoys me that I waited in line once and the cashier wouldn't give me the item to pay somewhere else to go check the "discounted" price myself, but came back in her line to wait again. All products I purchased where great except 1 item I ended up having to get my money back for:(. Make up setting spray totally spewed out all over my face so I had to lightly finger blot the splotches put after my makeup was all done. Good thing is that Walmart backs quality and satisfaction, so with my receipt, I was able to return it for a full refund:). read more

Review for the Photocenter only: Second time I have used the photo center. Every time there is a delay or no one is actually manning the booth. I asked an associate at the neighboring electronics counter to see if they could get the photo-associate to come back to their desk. He said the associate was carrying a tv to a customers car. Needless to say, the photo associate never actually came back after 30 minutes. Disregard their hours, because I have yet to come here and actually find someone working the desk. You'll need to wander the store until you find an associate. Fingers crossed they actually come through and get someone. Been here 30 min from 5:15-5:45 and no one has come. I suggest having a button to alert the employee to the photocenter. UPDATE: I ended up going behind the counter myself and grabbing my photos. read more

*******UPDATE******* Approximately 1 year later: Still the absolute worst Walmart I know of, with one exception: a cashier named Sharonna who deserves a medal and a massive raise. She was getting hit from all sides because no other worker would do much in the way of helping, but Sharonna was warm, patient, kind, gracious, and hardworking. She was supposed to go on her break (I think? The radio was hard to understand) but couldn't leave because not one fricking other worker would come relieve her. So she continued to do it all! Sharonna gets 10 stars, this location would get 0 if I could go that low on Yelp. I saw a grand total of 5 workers over roughly an hour, and 2 were maintenance, 1 was another woman who seemed somewhat busy but not especially helpful to Sharonna, and an older man who just seemed to be walking around for fresh air or exercise or something. He helped me find one thing but it did happen to be along his path, so I'm not sure if the help was on purpose or not, though he was nice enough. Other than Sharonna's excellent service, this store needs floor set help, as the displays were messy and the clothing department is confusing as heck, with brands kind of all over the place. I cannot understand why a large, heavily shopped location like this one does not have more staff or a better maintained store, but if they hire like 2 more Sharonnas, they'll be the top location in the nation. I keep trying to give this place a chance, as their merchandising and store visuals are great, plus it's a very convenient location, and the 24 hour thing is awesome. But in the whole time this location has been there, I don't think I've ever seen them with more than one line open, other than maybe 2-3 times. If this weren't frustrating enough, they never seem to have self-check open either. I really don't understand why they keep doing this, it's truly bizarre and bad for business. The one stinking line backed waaay the heck up into the main aisle, with almost thirty people. And since most can't quite decide which side of the aisle they should form a line on, we wound up blocking all traffic and irritating each other further. My own stupid fault for forgetting my wallet, though, which I only realized after waiting in line for twenty long minutes, so I had to leave my items behind. At least I learned basically all the heavily embellished facts the dude behind me was pulling out to impress his last friend, and I heard them SO so clearly BECAUSE THEY WERE STANDING LITERALLY THREE INCHES BEHIND ME, instead of a normal personal space range. The customer service at this location is so terrible, that I refuse to shop here. Recently I had to buy an Apple charger. I went around 6 at night and it looked like they were out of stock but I wanted to speak to someone in electronics to confirm. I waited for a bit and when I didn't find anyone in the area, I ventured around until I found an employee. Although she was sweet, she told me I should just wait in the electronics department "in case" someone came back to help me. I waited, but also decided to call the store to see if I could speak to someone in electronics that way, assuming that it would be quicker. I called and after finally getting to the electronics department, it rings (but not at the electronics desk, so someone must have had a phone where it was ringing). I let it ring and ring and ring; it rang for more than 5 minutes. No one in electronics answered. It didn't ring back to customer service. Nothing. As it was ringing, I walked to customer service to see if the phone might be ringing there, but they were busy and couldn't answer (nope), so I walked out and finally hung up. I went to Target instead. I walked in and decided to immediately call their electronics department (even though I was walking towards the department and could see two people at the electronics desk.) I watched as someone answered within 20 seconds. Turns out, they had the Apple charger in stock. Target not only got my money that night, but my permanent business as well. Wow the world has changed. No customer service anymore. I bought Johnsonville italian sausage in the fresh meat area of Walmart in Murphy on Sunday march 14,2021. I notice it has no use by date on the package, after I got home with it. So I called walmart hoping to ask the fresh meat department. But when you call them there is no option for the meat department. The only logical option is option 0 for an associate. I called many times and no one picks up. The last time I called I let it continually ring. I bet it rang 50 times and then it automatically disconnected. Now that sucks. Thanks Walmart. read more

Received a gift card for Christmas. A friend told me to try this place. I'm from the McKinney area and people are trashy and ghetto at Walmart. Imagine my surprise! There were a few people who just stood there in the aisles staring into space, but the majority were friendly and clean! It wasn't crowded at all, and this was the day after Christmas. Looks like a nice Walmart from the street. That is the end of it. They were packed today. Parking was almost to the end of the lot. Grocery carts were overflowing from every return station and coasting around the lot hitting cars. Inside, the store is cluttered and dirty looking. I don't want you to come here because I love this Walmart and I don't want it to get crowded :) But I am devoted to Yelping and had to give this store a review. This is a new Walmart and must be the prototype for all the ones to come. It has new buggys with no bad wheels, the aisles are wide and clutter free, there are tons of price scanners scattered around the store, they have plenty of employees to help you find what you need. Yes, it is actually a Walmart that you can get in and get out of (on weekdays) without giving yourself a migraine! The online pickup is also at the front of the store so you don't have to wander all the way to the back to pick up something real quick. This store also has a subway and a drive thru pharmacy, score! read more

I like to shop walmart because they typically have lower prices and they ad match. The only thing I don't like is that usually walmart has bad produce. This walmart is an exception!
