I am a nurse so I really notice the errors they have made in so many instances regarding my scrip. Again & again the pharmacy techs & managers and customer service employees at Shasta cvs, are rude and quick to say that everything wrong is my problem, Not theirs. When asking to speak directly to the pharmacist, Joseph, only to be given the brush off. The entire staff is awkward and insincere (sickly sweet) or non present as tho they don't know what they're talking about. No communication or team work! Stay clear. Worst CVS I have ever experienced. Call their number and deal with automated responses for 15-20 minutes. You can ask the AI to transfer you to a normal person but it refuses to and asks you to leave a message. You'll get a call back about an hour to an hour and a half later. The worst automated response I've ever experienced in this shitty new age. Usually you can hit 0 over and over again to be put through to a human. Not with cvs. You're stuck dealing with AI that has automated responses and cannot handle your questions. It is infuriating. I started the call at the beginning of driving there. 20 minutes later I was still asking to be transferred to a human being. I was forced to leave a message as I was parked at the cvs location after continuously asking the AI to please put me through to actual humans at the store. I asked the AI for 20 minutes straight to please speak with a person. It didn't get me anywhere other than finally letting me leave a voice message. I think this is some of the worst, if not the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Avoid this CVS like the plague. This location is terrible. read more

I live 220 yards away. Pharmacy INSTANTLY acknowledges you and 'drop-off'/'pick-up' are clearly marked.. very small, but 'other giant nationwide pharmacy' in town finally went 'kaput!'.. but I'd switched my pharmaload over to CVS months ago when Rx p/u was NEVER READY.. employees had been cut.. CVS here now has 7-9 persons working in cramped space. That's more than the entire store (not just pharmacy) that went bankrupt. And CVS will deliver in area (a town of 3,500 on I-5, plus three other towns of 2,000 - 2,500 within 12 mi.. I sure hope they take over the other pharmacy's bldg; even if they subdivide sq ft and ALSO sell OTC (including non health-related general mdse (like toys/camping/hiking/fishing gear (after all, that is what visitors want (and residents too!!)))) five stars because.. that's all you have read more

I been getting my medication refilled for 2 months now and had nothing but trouble receiving it. The first month they were out and couldn't tell me when they were receiving the medication! I went 5 days before my doctor contacted them and had them change my prescription! This month I need to go and see my cardiologist in San Francisco a 4 hour drive I make to see the heart transplant wing so I called CVS and they told me if I get my doctor in Mount Shasta to call the CVS pharmacy in town that I can have filled there. At 7:49pm the night before I leave they sent me a text saying there is an issue with medication and I need to talk to the pharmacy that doesn't open until 9am!! I don't understand why a major pharmacy is making this so difficult! I thought that because I travel that they would be a better choice with so many locations to find out that I have to go through all this trouble to receive medication!! They have all my information, they ask for my drivers license to get it but nope just to give me stress on my weaken heart!! Such a pain!!! read more

I came to pick up a prescription. The clerk and the pharmacist were very friendly, informative and helpful. I really appreciate it when business provides good customer service. That is except for a technician who caught an attitude because I asked if he had returned my discount cards. He rolled his eyes and looked at he's coworker, with the most indignant expression. This pharmacy has the worst customer service. The tattooed guy in scrubs is dishonest, rude and has no good answers to reasonable queries. He said he would give a notification if there was a problem with a prescription, but the notification never occurred. I would hope other CVS pharmacies are better than this. read more

I was so impressed with the CVS Pharmacist and staff. Their professionalism, empathy & customer service was fantastic! Earlier today I had a very bad experience at Rite-Aid in Mt Shasta, prior to going to CVS. The Rite-Aid pharmacy person was rude, aggressive & refused to put a prescription into to be filled while I ran home to get my elderly mother-in-laws insurance cards as I inadvertently forgot to bring them with me. He told me there were 550 prescriptions still to be filled & I'd be wasting his time if he had to enter the insurance info at the time I paid. I tried to explain the meds were time sensitive for my MIL who spent 6 hours in ER the previous nigh and I wanted to get the prescription order in the queue as she needed to take the meds soon. He told me it wasn't his problem. Comparing my experience between Right-Aid CVS was night & day. Kudos & thanks to Mt Shasta CVS personnel! I watch how each interacted with the other customers and on the phone as well. Consistent professionalism -- genuine...caring.... and efficient. A heartfelt thanks to each member of the CVS team.
