A very convenient store in (or if your being technical- near) the skyway!…read more I personally go here to get my junk food fix during the week. They have ice cream (ice cream truck- individually packed options) energy drinks, soda, chips, coffee, fresh donuts (delivered daily), candy, greeting cards, and so much more. They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

LOLBVVS The staff continue to change, but all are personable and professional. I do have my favs, but I hardly see them as much any more. The store continues to try different items for us to try out, which I appreciate. They've also encouraged us to use cash by giving a discount to patrons who utilize cash vs credit cards. Their prices can be a little high at times, but I chop it up to the convenience of having a convenience store within our work building and not having to run up the block to Target, since they relocated Walgreens down a few blocks.

They hung up on me when I called to ask a simple question, and when I came into the store they laughed when I asked for beer ,when I showed them both the utmost respect I got none in return the manager asked "who you talking to " when I asked if I can simply buy some beers, I feel he lacks basic communication skills and is a disrespectful individual, when I showed him my identification that I previously went to get renewed he claimed it was expired not noticing the validity slip hanging from the damn thing , the employees here lack basic every day knowledge and communication skills they are terrible with customers . Honestly I don't. Even see how they are employed , I will no longer spend my hard earned money at this location they don't deserve my business, with them stank ass attitudes and shitty people skills . Y'all need to find some better staff . Especially the manager he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I could give you zero stars that's what you deserve . Lucky I tolerated that disrespect, I usually am not so calm , I just wanted to get what I came for and be on my way but they made my visit into an event.

The decor leaves much to be desired, then again, It is a deli inside a convenience store. Never had the expectation of finding a very well designed table linen establishment. The food is decent. I have only had to stop few times after much drunken stupor at Palmer's Bar or after a show at the Cedar Cultural Center. The Sambusas are good. The Gyros and Falafels are okay. They also have frozen burgers on the menu. This neighborhood like some of the others in the city has a reputation for being "Sketchy" and It has all to do with the fact that most of these residents are Africans or Native Americans. You know, the kinda people that look nothing like the residents of Milaca, Minnesota or the rest of the state. And of course what is fueling this perception more is having those scary kids in the neighborhood with the complicated finger gestures, the ones with the saggy pants to their ankles showing off their Gangsta Scooby-Doo and Ned Flanders underwear themed when they lean over the counter to order. Yes, those sketchy kids. Tip: Order what you want at the Deli. They will give you the receipt to pay at the grocery checkout.

While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

The pharmacy at Walgreens in Uptown is, by far, the worst, most dysfunctional pharmacy I have ever…read moreencountered. they are horribly understaffed and lines snake down the aisles as customers moan and groan. Prescriptions go unfilled days after being called in by a doctor for absolutely no reason. After moving back to an area in which this was my closest pharmacy, I transferred all my scripts here. When I arrived, there was one person in front of me at the pharmacy register. I waited patiently. As soon as that customer was finished, the pharmacy technician told me they were closing for lunch. I explained that I had just received a notification from Walgreens to pick up my prescription, and there was no mention in either message that the pharmacy would be closed between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. Her response? "It's Saturday," said with a dismissive tone, as if I was supposed to know their lunch schedule. Then, right in front of me, she shut the pharmacy gate in my face while two other staff stood aside doing nothing. Not a single person made an effort to help--despite Walgreens being the one to ask me to come pick up my prescription. This was my first time at this location--and will definitely be my last. If this is how Walgreens treats its customers, I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. It would've taken less than a minute to hand me my medication before closing. Instead, they chose to be rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
