This is the second time in two months this CVS location was not able to take me even with an appointment. The first time there was not adequate staff for the pharmacist to give me the vaccine despite my appointment. The second time, I had made an appointment at the wrong location. The tech behind the counter told me they could not take me without an appointment. I went on the app to make an appointment and it clearly states, walk ins are welcome. I asked the tech why she wouldn't take me when the app clearly stated "walk ins are welcome" and she then tells me they ran out of flu vaccines. I went directly up the road to Neighbor Pharmacy and had a flu shot without an appointment in 5 minutes. read more

Drive thru went pretty fast. Friendly staff. Went inside faucet needed to use the restroom. Needed to run out of there. Was very smelly no toilet paper. So we went to another store to use the restroom. Would be nice if someone can take care of the bathroom I know Covid ended but the keep up the restroom should be a priority in a public place like this. This is the second time I went and the bathroom for me was not useable between the smell and lack of soap and toilet paper. You would think the store sells these items and it should of been well stocked. Very disappointing. At least the items they sell in the store are mostly stocked and the prices are good. read more

This CVS is top notch for scheduling and receiving vaccinations. Everything is clear and precise. But trying to get a receipt of some kind for the vaccination is impossible. Telephone calls will not be answered, period. Only a recorded voice gives limited options, but no contact to a human person at all. I called CVS to try to get my wife and son registered to the family records. Sure, they told me. Then as soon as I was connected, the line went dead. The text they sent to give permission to have me see their records had a dead link. Very frustrating. So, I give zero stars for getting a file put together, and 5 stars for getting the vaccinations my family needed. It is odd, that no one at the pharmacy will take a phone call, though. I'll keep my local family pharmacy, where they answer your call on the second or third ring. read more

Worst Pharmacy....they no longer take phone calls! You must leave a message and someone may eventually call u back....very incoinconvenient also if u are filling a controlled medication be prepared for problems. They tell you that you can fill your medicine on a certain day only to find out the information was wrong and you can't have your medication that day. Happens every single month.....most of the staff are super rude and not helpful. The line is always long but they appear overstaffed!!!!!! The worst part is the change in answering the phone. You can only speak to someone if you are a doctor. They no longer take ccalls from customers! They force u to use their automated system or app!!! What pharmacy doesn't take calls from customers!!??? I absolutely hate this cvs but with all the restrictions new pharmacies are not taking new patients/customers! So I'm stuck with this place from he'll! read more

As far as pharmacies go I have a preference for CVS. This particular one pretty much gets the job done so I'd give them 3 solid stars. My problem with this location however is that it is very clear their pharmacy is almost always short staffed. If you fill a prescription here be prepared for a long drive through line or store line inside. There will be no friendly interactions like I'm used to at the other pharmacies because they're just too busy for that. Outside of the pharmacy the front store staff are always hospitable and greet you when you enter. Im always able to find what I need and never an issue with using coupons or the app. Overall if you looking for quick service, go to another store or don't go during afternoon/ evening hours. Outside of that you should be fine. read more

Just stopped in to this pharmacy looking to verify that I was in their system (since I have been going to CVS in Goshen and Chester the past twenty years). The pharmacist refused to accept me as a patient since once of my prescriptions is a controlled substance. She was rude and dismissive. I was unaware the big chain pharmacies have the right to refuse to fill prescriptions. Do not waste your time going to CVS on Route 211 in Middletown, drive to Goshen or another pharmacy instead. read more

I personally would never set foot in this understaffed and unprofessional pharmacy. Cvs on east main st is better but probably Changing pharmacies all together is best. This is based on the pharmacy and not a reflection on the store. I'm planning on switching to a different CVS location as my insurance requires me to use CVS. I've been trying to get a medication and when my doctor's office contacted the pharmacy they received no help and were told that I had to call my insurance company because the medication that they were trying to put me on wasn't covered by my insurance. I had previously spoken to someone and was under the impression that the prescription would be filled as I requested. We received several calls telling us that the medication isn't covered. I called my insurance and got three options, which I provided for the nurse. She sent in for one and then we got another notification that the medication is partially covered. I called and was initially given a nasty attitude, then eventually was spoken to as though I was a human being. I have not had much trouble prior to this, but overall the experience has convinced me that I can bring my business to a CVS in a smaller town and avoid the headache of going to this one and being unhappy. Most ridiculous part:. With insurance NOT covering it I was quoted under $10 both times. I think I can manage that, I don't even think Good RX is needed. read more

Pharmacist administering Covid Vaccine. Not changing gloves in between patients nor sanitizing in between patients. Definitely an increase risk for infection and contamination. I requested he change glove before my dose was administered which he gladly complied. However, this is a serious infection control error. He has now been wearing the same gloves since administering my dose. Since then an additional 5 patients were given the vaccine. Mind you in between the patient before me and myself I watched him prep or open vaccines with the same gloves to prep them in succession for the next patients. In the midst of the pandemic ppe and infection control is first line priority in protection. read more

The service has deteriorated since CVS has decided to close the pharmacy between 1.30-2 for lunch. On 12/ 10, I arrived in the drive thru lane at 1:20. 3 people were in front of me. It took 10 minutes for the 1st car to be attended to. Surprise surprise, cvs closes the drive thru window! Not taking into account that at least 4 cars were in line before the 1:30 cutoff! Fast forward I run errands and get back to CVS AT 1:57 and I'm the first person at the window. I have no problem waiting until 2:00. 2:00 comes and goes, 2:08 the security shield gets cranked up and the person walks away. Another 5+ minutes go by and I finally get waited on. Minutes go by...and the cashier tells me "it doesn't appear that I have insurance and it will be $30."! I have been getting this RX for 2 years and it has been covered by insurance and i pay $1.00 . FEELS LIKE A SCAM! I tell said person I absolutely have insurance and it takes her another 10+ minutes to come back and tell me it will be $1.00. She takes my money (has my RX in her hand) and disappears for 4-5 minutes before she returns with my RX! I spent over 20 minutes in the DRIVE-THRU to get my RX! Meanwhile, there is a large presence of employees in the pharmacy. Seems like CVS could figure out scheduling so they don't have to close for 30+ minutes and further delay customers picking up their RX. WAKE UP CVS! I have already move 2 prescriptions to RiteAid due to the price difference. read more
