You are required to make an appointment to take a COVID test, which is great, but once there you'll find that they'll take people who *don't* have appointments or who show up wildly outside of their appointment times, resulting in people who made appointments and who showed up at the correct time having to wait in the drive through 30-45 minutes past their *actually scheduled* appointment - or longer. My family has used this pharmacy for years, even tho they have bankers hours. We always prefer smaller businesses to the larger chains. Recently, with an ailing mom, Accucare has really hurt us. We were waiting on an important pain med, and each time we sent relatives to pick up other needed meds, that drug was not included. After validating with the doc that the script was submitted, we sent my neice to get it and a new antibiotic late friday for the weekend. She was turned away without either drug - a problem with insurance? I called frustrated Saturday and found out that the drugs were still inexpensive but the pharmacist was waiting on a call backs from the doc or insurance but no call to us. Now I live an hour away and they close at noon on Saturdays.....I had to do a 2 hour round trip in a rush to get my mom these meds. Each issue was financially meaningless, but the meds critical. So, niceness aside, this is unacceptable in a pharmacy. ESPECIALLY since it is was late on a Friday with such limited hours. Can you imagine? "No we don't have your moms meds and we close soon." We recently purchased a nebulizer for my toddler that her doctor prescribed and upon picking it up, the pharmacist recognized this was going to be for a tiny human and that there was no toddler-sized mask included, so he went and found one in his storage and gave it to us for free so she would be more comfortable receiving her treatments. I can't imagine paying full price for medication but unfortunately some people do need to pay out of pocket and I feel for them. This is your typical CVS with overpriced produce, over priced over the counter meds (e.g. Tylenol, etc) so there's nothing really to brag about this location. I am excited about the new local pharmacy that's opened up in the village of Goshen which I plan on fully supporting.
