Huge store with a large selection of groceries, clothing, home stuff, and most things you could need (just not the particular spices I was looking for). They do really need to update their checkout stations though, because (at least where we were at self-checkout) they still didn't allow you to tap your phone or card to pay, which is inconvenient.

Who doesn't love to hate on Walmart? It's easy to dump on the big corps and what do they really care about the little guy except for you to fork over your money. You won't find a Walmart Supercenter in NYC, so you'll have to truck out to LI or roadtrip upstate, as we usually do. Their groceries, clothes and consumer goods are mediocre at best, but they are dirt cheap and you have the advantage of all-in-one location shopping. You can get your frozen pizza, as well as your car motor oil, all in one shopping cart. I get my everyday work clothes in the men's dept. Can you beat $9.84 for a pair of cotton pants? Or $7.76 for a pair of no-name blue jeans? If you're a bargain hunter, cruise through the Clearance aisle. There are vastly discounted/discontinued toys, hardware and office supplies and out of season goods. Last time, I found LED light bulbs for $0.50 each. I even like to rummage through the $3 DVD bin for trashy old 80's movies. It's worth the trip.

The delivery service is beyond awful. My groceries were left outside on the dirty ground. During a previous order the driver said he did not know which items were mine and I needed to come outside to his car to pick out my food. It is impossible to complain to the store manager because the phone is never answered.

Moldy rotten fruit, horribly rude employees the store is never stocked and the shelves look like a local dollar tree store.

This Walmart does not restock very well. It can take months for them to restock particularly items in the grocery section of the store.

I love trying new things and love that most staff know their departments and aren't hesitant to share opinions when asked and sometimes even when they aren't. It reminds me of old school service, and I haven't been steered wrong by their input yet. When this location first opened, I constantly had issues checking out at the front registers. For example, a deal might be advert but not reflected on my receipt, or I could buy three lemons and be charged for four mangos and issues like that. So, I am diligent about checking my receipts, but I haven't caught any issues like that in the longest time. I love that if I come in for items in one of their specialty areas, I can just check out right there and skip the front registers all together. I think this is why I do more impulse buys here than other supermarkets. The prices are high, but I've heard staff say they are treated well. Because of that, I don't mind paying extra. I actually hope the store expands so I can avoid shopping at stores without that reputation. I might avoid this location's gift shop, though.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more Today, I experienced an incident at your store that left me deeply disappointed and disrespected. While shopping, I noticed two employees at self-checkout focus their attention entirely on me. Despite having only eight items--far fewer than others checking out--I was watched, followed, and made to feel as though I was doing something wrong simply by existing in that space. What should have been a simple shopping trip turned into a display of implicit bias and profiling. I was attempting to complete two separate transactions, a normal process that seemed to suddenly become a problem for your staff. The unnecessary remarks, the hovering presence, and the invasive scrutiny were both unprofessional and unsettling. When I addressed the issue directly--pointing out that not every individual of my ethnic group behaves the same way--it appeared to baffle one of your employees. Rather than reflect on my words, she attempted to correct me, further exposing her own assumptions. I reminded her that making assumptions without evidence is the root of bias, and that following and observing someone based solely on perception or stereotype is unacceptable. What made the situation more disturbing was the contrast: multiple white customers with overflowing carts stood unbothered in the "13 items or fewer" section, yet I, with my eight items, became the focus of scrutiny. This is not a coincidence--it's a pattern that many people of color recognize all too well. No one should be made to feel criminalized for existing. No one should be treated like a suspect for simply trying to make a purchase. The entitlement to stand behind a customer, to invade their personal space, and to assume authority over them reflects a deeper, systemic problem that goes beyond customer service--it reveals unconscious prejudice at work. I will not be returning to this location, nor will I spend my money where basic respect is not extended equally to every customer. However, I hope this serves as a wake-up call. This type of conduct does not just harm the person it targets--it harms your brand, your integrity, and the humanity we are all supposed to share. Discrimination--whether conscious or subconscious--has no place in your store, your staff, or any environment that serves the public. I strongly encourage management to address this issue through proper training, accountability, and awareness, so that no one else has to experience what I did today.

Anything served in a blue wave pattern container is either overpriced, ridiculously small pieces; or both! Middletown's Hannaford isn't as good as the black container sushi; but is definitely better than the blue container sushi. Strangely yet sadly enough; to my knowledge the best sushi in the general area is Pine Bush's Hannaford. Theirs tastes the freshest and has the most variety. Another significant problem I experienced the last few times I stopped there was that I didn't feel safe. The isles felt claustrophobic and there were angry moms yelling at their little children. I swear, from the moment set foot in there something about the rest of the clientele made me feel like I was surrounded by MAGA (Trump's cult) and obviously, when they're around; no one is safe; not even themselves.
