I come here twice a week, the sandwiches are amazing! The Spanish Guy in the Deli really knows what he's doing, get him a raise. I bought a sub sandwich (#14) yesterday and a drink, excellent value (under $10). I could have legit saved 1/2 the sub for later but it was so good I ate the whole sub! I recommended Red Berry to my coworker for his lunch today. Good eats here! Fresh cold cuts, fruits, drinks, even seafood can be bought here. My husband wanted to stop in to check out this store on 10/8/20. I followed behind him and the smell of fish was so overwhelming that I had to turn around and walk out. He also left. There is no reason that a place should smell so bad. read more

I buy all my Boar's Head meat here. Instead of spending 10 or $11 a pound at ShopRite I spend $5.99 to $7.99 a pound. I buy all of my vegetables, fruits, Parmesan cheese, Kalamata olives, rolls, all of my Hispanic cooking Essentials, all my fresh shrimp, and fish that is in the back of the store. Everything is at least half the price then the regular grocery store. I walk out with three or four bags and only spend $20 if that. Place is always well stocked, people are extremely nice. Staff handles food with unprotected hands, temperatures not controlled, bad customer service, the cashiers ring you whatever they want, smells terrible. Good price of fruits and vegetables but they are very ripe and you need to eat them in one or two days. Love the selection of fruits and vegetables. They have a wide range that is not available at your typical supermarket. The prices they have are also superb, more bang for your buck while still being top quality produce. I have not bought any seafood yet but will soon. Baked bread and rolls are also great, my brother asks me to pick up bread loaves every time he knows I'm going. read more

This is one of my favorite places to by fresh fruit and vegetables. The selection of apples is large. The prices are lower than the shoprite across the street and the quality of the fruit and vegetables is higher. You can often find berries here on sale (2 containers for $3). The cilantro is cheeper and more fresh than at shoprite. Altogether, this is the prime location in Middletown for fresh produce. I also buy the buckwheat here, but otherwise I cannot comment on the food that is not fresh. read more

The formerly patchy Middletown Farm went downhill over the course of the last two years - the A/C never seemed to work and it smelled bad. Happily, it now has new owners and a new lease of life under the name Red Berry Farm. The prices are still great - six well-filled bags of groceries, mostly veg, cost us $47 - and it's CLEAN and it NO LONGER STINKS. Praise be - this place is back to its best. read more

BEWARE - we were cheated out of 8oz of shrimp. We ordered 2 lbs, when we got home and weighted it (because it looked unusually small) it came up 24 oz. I count my macros so I had a scale available. I WILL NEVER shop here again. Disgrace knowing a business will cheat their customers! When the worker quickly told us to go look around while he cleaned our shrimp, I should of known. When we picked up our shrimp, the weight wasn't listed, and now I know why..... HORRIBLE. We were cheated 8oz. I wish I would have had them weigh it in front of me..... The fruit and vegetables are fine here, good selection, good prices. But the fish? Stay well clear. Since they changed management the fish places has gone down the pan. There is a reason they keep the fish under cling wrap, it's not for higene, it's cos it stinks, it's so old. Dumped a pound of cod fillet from there in the trash when we got home as it stunk. That was the 2nd and last time we buy fish from there. The first time the fish was ok, but it was prepared poorly. Barely scaled, and the head hacked off roughly. It's a shame as the people who ran the fish counter before where great, and sold good quality fish. read more

I been going here since it open was so happy cause I get my fruits and vegetables here and my collard greens me and my husband is in this store like 2x a week but today 12/22/2017 I was so disappointed that it really hurt my heart we were finishing up getting items for our Christmas dinner yes we got our collard greens and some more stuff and our total was $36.71 and we had $36.61 in cash now remind you we always paid cash in this store since they open we were 11 cents short as God as my witness they wouldn't let us get our stuff. Now this has never ever happen to me in over 50 something years already felt embrass ,so I pollitely asked the cashier can she help me with 11 cents and I'll bring it back she said she couldn't so I said can I speak to the manager softly cause I was embrass I think if I could turn red I would of now my back and knees are really hurting me cause I was at the doctor's office the manager came and I politely said we shop in here since you're been open we are 11 cents short can I please bring it back to you I'm not feeling well He looked at me and said He can not do it he would be loosing Money I almost cried so I said 11 cents sir now people are looking at us so I said you see this face I will never spend money in here again so the people started looking at the manager saying are you serious you mean to tell me you're not going to let these people go for 11 cents so they offer us the 11 cents and I thank the other people who spoke up but as God as my witness I will not go back in this store people that knows me I would cook food and give it to people that is hungry give my last dime to help somebody but this has really hurt me 11 cents Merry Christmas to everybody read more
