Yes, I have also had some delays in getting prescriptions filled, but has anyone noticed the manager of the store? I don't even live around here any more, but I recognize him every time I come in when I visit. He is always pleasant and professional and can answer any question about what he stocks or when it will be back in. It must be a drag for him to have the reputation of his store be judged by the actions of pharmacy staff beholden to corporate medicine, but he keeps smiling. Don't come here unless you want to come three separate times just for them to refuse to give you your medication. My husband was unable to get his meds when we were back home in New York so we had to get them here. We went multiple times the first time saying they don't know how to bill tricare. Then they said we already picked up our medication. The last time we went they said they didn't have enough of his medication. If you don't want to be running around in circles don't come here. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. I spoke with a tech and couldn't give me any answers on my prescription that was to be transferred to a Walgreens. The pharmacist got on the phone and stated he doesn't have time for this. I tried to explain my situation and he just hung up. He was talking over me the entire time. Walgreens contacted them and they said I have no prescription even though I had a text that day stating I need a refill. Terrible place. read more

Nothing special about this location at all. Negatives trying to get into the parking lot is hard if you don't know the area. Positive this location is cleaner than some of the other CVS locations that I've been to. I am ill over the weekend (I suggest do not get ill over a weekend), called my doctor's office and had a prescription called in Saturday to Menomonee Falls CVS. Called to see it if was ready to be picked up and the automated voice said pharmacy was closed. Called Sunday at 10:45am to see if RX could be picked up and Automated voice said RX would be ready Wednesday, not today. Finally reached a live voice who said they needed a doctor to fill out a form first for insurance. I let them know I would just pay for it myself, and then was told they do not even have the RX at their pharmacy and need to order it. Why did they not contact me Saturday with this news? read more

If you value your privacy and HIPPA rights, do not go here! Picked up a prescription on a Sunday during a Packer game. Game was blasting on a huge big screen tv in waiting area. Meanwhile the pharmacist shouts to me from the back (does not even bother to come up to the counter) for my name and prescription information. Disgusted that my insurance makes me use CVS. Absolutely TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A PHARMACY. They don't know how to Bill Medicare! They don't know how to find out and explain to customer why something isn't being covered (ie, prior auth's) They don't send necessary paperwork to Md's office for processing. The Asian Pharmacist lies to your face, after looking in the computer, has NO CLUE what he is looking at. Young African American desk help is at rude as can be! On phone as well as in person. This is the worst CVS in the state . The one Oak creek the pharmacist tech will check best price for you . Not the girl at this store . Numerous times it take an act of God to get her to check what I played for it before in Oak creek . The final Straw . When my other half went in there with a letter from insurance company . Stating that cards were on the way and the new number was on the letter . That lazy useless tech refused to run the number . Oak creek is now out of the way . Unfortunately, this location does not seem to have the number of staff required for a busy location. I will repeatedly be contacted that my prescriptions are ready to pick up but when I get to the pharmacy I'm told that they haven't actually been filled and it will be at least an hour before they are ready, or that the particular prescription is not in stock and it will be a couple days. On three occasions I was told that it would not be ready that evening but I could return the next day and it will be ready, unfortunately, when I returned it had not been filled. The latest issue and the reason that I can no longer use this pharmacy is regarding a prescription that required a doctor refill. I used the telephone refill line to request a refill 2 weeks prior to running out of medicine. When I went in to pick up the medication, I was told that it wasn't ready because it needed a refill from the doctor and they had faxed the request that day, not two weeks prior when I requested the refill. A week goes by and the prescription still had not been filled. I contacted my doctors office and they had not received any communication from the pharmacy. I was finally contacted later that week by CVS staff, saying that they received the communication from the doctor and the medication would be filled in the next day or two. Another 2 weeks go by and today (5 weeks after the initial refill request) I received a call that it was ready to pick up. I wait in line at the pharmacy and it turns out they had ordered the wrong medication and it wasn't actually there. read more

Dropped prescription off at 4pm , lady was rude and not friendly said it would be ready between 730-800 pm, came at 8pm in a snow storm said 20 more minutes came 30 minutes later and said sorry we are out of your pills. Asked for prescription back and she said nothing and pointed and laughed with pharmacist and the pharmacist cane and gave me my prescription with no words and smiled and that was it! In December 2018, I went to my regular physician and during my visit I was asked if I wanted to get a Shingles shot during my visit. I told them I had the shot several years earlier at CVS in Menomonee Falls. After checking the Wisconsin Immunization Registry, my doctor told me that there was no record of me receiving the immunization. I contacted CVS. The pharmacy told me I had to call an "800" number. I called and was transferred around nine times. Ultimately, I was told that I had to call the pharmacy again. I have been "screwing" around with CVS Menomonee Falls for almost four months. They acknowledge that they gave me the immunization, however they neglected/don't know/don't care about entering the information in the registry. During my last call with CVS Menomonee Falls, I was asked by Tim, "I'm just curious. Why do you care if it is entered? The shot is ineffective anyhow." I find their skills to be incompetent and their work ethic to be unacceptable. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to their pharmacy. read more

Probably the slowest and most unorganized pharmacy. I have given this place 4-5 chances and every time something is messed up. One time I got a call at 10:30 in the morning that a prescription was ready, I arrived at 4:00pm and it wasn't ready??? Taking my business somewhere else. read more

Out of approximately 20 different trips to this pharmacy, only TWO times have I gotten my prescriptions filled without incident. On two separate occasions, my prescriptions were filled with generic medications, despite being written by the prescribing physician as DAW. Both times this was discovered after check out was complete, so I had to go back into the store and wait longer for the mistake to be rectified. On another occasion, I was told my insurance had denied coverage for a medication, so I paid full price for it. Upon following up with the insurance company directly, I was told by them that the store never sent the claim in. Another trip back into the store for a refund and re-ring of my charges. One of my maintenance prescriptions is a cream, which is written for 3 tubes for a 90 day supply, and is routinely filled by the pharmacist at 2 tubes-- his reasoning is that if you measure it exactly, you can get 3 months out of 2 tubes. Regardless of the fact that the MD has written it for 3, he has never contacted her to change the prescription to 2 tubes- and my understanding is that he is required by law to fill it as written. As it is a medication that is used symptomatically as a prn in addition to the written usage, I am unable to adjust the dosing the way my MD wanted me to because of CVS filling it the way they deem is best. On multiple occasions, I have experienced the barest of acceptable customer service, with technicians who are routinely borderline rude. THE ONLY reason I continue to use this pharmacy is the fact that my insurance is administered by CVS Caremark, and I get one month free on every 3 month prescription. The next nearest CVS pharmacy is a 30 minute drive, or I would use them, believe me. In fact, for any prescription that is not 90 days, I use my local Walgreens-- so I don't have to experience this unprofessional behavior. At this point, I am looking at the mail in program so I never have to go into this CVS again. I have spoken to the pharmacy manager on more than one occasion as well-- and was essentially told to "always ask for the pharmacist"- as the technicians "don't know". Overall, very sad. As a nurse, I find this kind of ineptitude discouraging. If CVS wants to compete in a very crowded market, they are going to have to overhaul this location and step up-- or they will be out of business. read more
