After three years, it's probably time to update my review. Things have changed at PnS, most notably because Kroger has acquired Roundy's. Our familiar old Pick 'n' Save is still called Pick 'n' Save, but it's pretty obvious something is different. On entering, the first thing you'll notice is the genuine simulated hardwood floor in the produce department. Produce also has new fixtures and a new layout. And the key word is "layout". The entire store has a new layout, so when you go to the old familiar places expecting the old familiar faces - they ain't there. Everything has been rearranged. At first, that's really annoying but I imagine we'll all get used to it soon enough. Kroger has kept the familar old Roundy's name on several products but you'll find Kroger private label products, too. In addition, Kroger has brought in new brands that you've heard of but maybe never seen before. I'm currently giving Pick 'n' Save an upgrade to three stars for new layout and new products. I'm holding off on the fourth star to watch and see what else changes for the better, for the worse, or doesn't change at all. Welcome back to Wisconsin, Kroger. read more

On July 15, I purchased Simple Truth Whole milk yogurt pouches for my granddaughter. When I unpacked the groceries, I noticed the best by date was 5-29-2026. Almost two months past the date! You need to do a better job of rotating stock. I was in Michigan when I noticed this, so there was no way to rectify the problem. read more

This might be one of the worst grocery stores to exist. The store is a mess constantly, the employees are essentially nonexistent and seem to have no leadership whatsoever and the food is just terrible for prices that aren't even cheap. I usually try to avoid this place at all costs but had to stop in there after a long day for a dinner and some specific items. I thought I could at least assume the food I was buying would be edible but I was wrong... I purchased a pack of beef tenderloin filets to grill. Got home, opened them up to prep and they literally reeked like toe fungus and feces... what kind of toxic, rotten garbage is this place trying to pawn off on people as food?? Pick N Save has always had good prices and great selection of groceries. Easy to get to ample parking

Filth. Disgusting. Each isle progressively worse. Culminating with the restroom that appears to been cleaned religiously with fecal matter and used grease. Have used old school outhouses before and after this Pick & Save visit, gladly would eat a sandwich in the outhouse verses buying food from this Germantown, WI local. Thought there was a blizzard or threat of war, with the lack of product (Every dept). I adamantly practice supporting local businesses. Can not do,same here. Over priced. Under stocked coupled with horrible parking. Such a same. Not recommended. read more

Do NOT use this pharmacy. I have a family member that uses it and they dicked her around for over a week. She went without her medication for over a week. First it was insurance. Then it wasn't the insurance it was authorization from the doctor. Then she took care of that and it was the insurance again supposedly. Over a week later they still hadn't filled it. Its a fucking joke. These people got their licenses from a cracker jack box. read more

Check your e- clip coupons .Today had clipped $2.00 Kingsford ,$1.00 Simply Lemonade and $1.00 Mars ice cream . The Simply Lemonade was not taken off on my receipt. Took to service desk and showed clerk my phone that it had been clipped but not redeemed .the charcoal and Mars were correctly taken off receipt and showing redeemed on my e-clip coupons. Did get reimbursed but this is the the THRD time in three weeks that a coupon that had been eclipsed was not taken off read more

Not sure why this is , but every time I go to this particular Pick n' Save there is a cash register scanning error on at least 1 item. I go to 3 different Pick n Saves (due to work and other errands) and this is the only store where I ever have scanning errors. I was at this store twice this week and the first time it was an approximate $5 error and today a $2 error and those are just the ones that I caught. Usually I catch them while the cashier is still ringing up my groceries and she can fix it, but if I catch it after I receive the receipt it is such a hassle to go to the Customer Service counter - and they only refund the amount of the error not the tax that was charged on the error. Aside from the cash register error, the store is reasonably nice with a good produce area, meat counter, bakery and deli. All in all with the amount of mistakes that this store makes in the checkout, I don't think I will go here anymore. read more

I get stuck going to this PNS due to the close proximity of my job. The one star is solely based on the daily selection of their sandwiches. The main issue I have is the cashiers. Every time I go through a line, (and I seem to have one cashier in particular), she stops to examine everything I'm buying, and feels the need to comment on it. Not just one item. EVERY item. If I had a longer lunch, it might appease me. But since I have to run there and do some quick shopping, it takes all I have in me not to scream at her to just hurry the hell up and scan my shit. Really, do you think I want to engage in a topic of conversation about the breakfast bars I'm buying? Also - when I go to the self-checkout line (especially lately) the cashiers are especially annoying. If they're not annoying you to take a stupid game ticket (which nobody wins, by the way), they're grabbing the receipt of of your hand and scribbling something on it. Today was particularly annoying - she didn't even wait to ask me the question, she simply grabbed it out of my hand. I couldn't believe the rudeness she displayed. My patience with this PNS is really been trying me lately due to their lack of stock on other "KEY" items (i.e. - items on sale - much like any other PNS you go to, they only happen to be out of stock on the items on sale). I'm going to try and avoid this PNS in the future - it's just not worth the hassle anymore. read more

this store is right near my house, and like others have said there are errors on my receipt every single time I shop here. The store coupons I load to my card often don't even work, the coupons that qualify for doubling often don't even double, and they are usually out of stock on sale items. Roundy's should seriously consider doing something about the management of this location because since it's my first experience with a Pick N Save and it's always been terrible I'm not really keen on going to any of their other stores in future and will avoid all of them whenever I can. read more

My trip to Pick n' Save was boring and exhausting as always however when I finished with my groceries and ready to check out the cash register was jammed and I was forced to wait 15 to 20 minutes for someone who had any kind of knowledge to fix a register. If that wasn't bad enough the bagger did a terrible job at sorting out the groceries and therefore the plastic bags were ripped. My only positive feedback for the store is when they offer free food samples to their customers to show their marketing and sales pitch. I have placed 2 Pickup orders today and last week that they've messed up. The first order required 3 phone calls totaling 30 minutes and 2 additional trips to the store to get everything straightened out. But I thought I'd give it another try. When I saw their text saying they did not have my flavor of coffee creamer and no substitutions were offered, I called and requested two different options of the same brand and wad told this was no problem. Unfortunately when I came home, I discovered they had substituted a different brand of creamer at a much higher price and that the bananas were overripe and bruised (see picture). I called to explain the situation and was told I had to bring the creamers into the store to receive a refund and exchange. I explained that I was in the highest risk category for Corona and was not comfortable doing this because half of the customers were not wearing masks. While the clerk was apologetic and polite, she insisted this was the only way even though they have my credit card info. I will not be returning. Their mistake and I should risk my life! read more

I understand customer service jobs are not fun - I have worked many of them. People can be very difficult, and a lot of people in the industry are not treated well by customers. With my understanding of the industry, I am always very pleasant, and am never one to complain over an expired coupon, a long wait...etc. That being said, I am very disappointed in the basic customer service skills at this store. I find that a lot of the employees are just flat out rude. There have been many times where a checker has been ringing me up, and not said a single word to me. One time a young girl blatantly rolled her eyes when I walked up to her lane, and immediately shut her open sign off. Another instance, when I was at a self checkout - I inquired to an employee about a coupon not scanning for an item I had - she looked at it and said "you need to buy 2." (I only had one) I realized my mistake, and I apologized to her, smiled, and said "my mistake" - without saying a word back she handed the coupon back to me and walked away. Again, I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but the last several times I've been in this store, I have felt like an inconvenience and a burden to the employees. I try to be as pleasant as I can to everyone I encounter in the customer service industry, and I try to be understanding that bad days happen - but I'm beginning to get very frustrated with this store. I've been shopping at this location for about a year now. This is my go-to store, generally, even with another store chain closer. The store has got a reasonably good (and recently updated) layout. The selection is always good, and the store is really easy to navigate. My only real gripe about the layout is that the bakery seems to be in a forgotten corner in the back (... but, really, I don't need more donuts) hidden behind the pharmacy. I probably use the checkout lanes 1/3 of the time (major grocery shopping on payday,) and self checkout to pick up the little things in between. The cashiers have always been helpful and friendly, regardless of if I'm there in the morning before work or in the evening. I can usually find a decent sale on something I need to pick up, even without the coupons. All in all? I generally hate having to go shopping, whether it's groceries or other things, but this store is easy to get through and "gets out of the way" while I'm getting things done, while being helpful and friendly the times I need it. read more

I noticed that the Germantown Pick N Save only has 1 maybe 2 check out lanes open. Everything else is self-checkout. I don't always want to use self-checkout, especially if I have a lot of groceries. The lines to be checked out by a person are long while there are employees just standing around not doing anything. Plus, many times you need an employee to assist you when using the self-checkout which takes extra time. I asked one of the employees checking me out and she said they do not like it either. The majority of the employees there are talking about how they can't wait to be done working for the day/evening. They often ask each other, How much longer do you have to be here? Or if I ask them how they are doing, the response is, Great, since I only have 1 more hour here. If you don't like working there, then find another job. The entire experience at that Pick'N Save is disappointing. read more

I have went there a few times to shop lately and I'm always leaving missing an item or two which sends me over to Sendiks. I have been shopping with this Pick n Save less and have been taking advantage of the newly remodeled one on Appleton Avenue in the Falls. Clean store, fresher food, better employee attitude, bigger selection, better meat department, better bakery, better deli and well worth the drive! I visited the GT location last Friday. Handed my stack of coupons to the cashier. I get home and notice none of my coupons totaling over $11.00 had been deducted. Called the store and they said come to the service counter for a refund, as they found my coupons at the register. Made a special trip to get my money today and the guy had a sour puss on his face as if it was a pain to wait on me. NO APOLOGY!!!!!!!!!! It seems that every time I visit this store there is some sort of issue. All the employees look unhappy and then you get that fake concerned question "Did you find everything okay?". I wasted time calling and gas in my car over the stores error. At least Walmart gives a $5 gift card when this happens. Thank you Sendiks for joining the neighborhood as that is always a fantastic shopping experience. Done with PNS. read more

My opinion is that You, pick and save, have made the unpleasant chore of grocery shopping even more tedious. All the ridiculous sales (when you buy 5) and the e-clips and the coupons...I don't have time to "study and prepare" for grocery shopping. It is a necessary evil but you have found a way to make it more annoying. It should not be complicated and I do not need to count items while I am trying to shop. Gotta fix it!!! read more

Wow what a pleasant time at pick n save. Went in to get supplies to make bath bombs. We needed citric acid. What is citric acid you ask? Oh, we have no idea either. Neither did the deli guys we asked. But, they were sure helpful! Mr. Deli man walked down many aisles with us, then asked the manager. And let me tell you, that manager was sure helpful too! She lead us right to the citric acid. Would we have ever looked in the baking aisle if it wasn't for the manager? No! We wouldn't have looked in the baking aisle. I thought it was a cleaning solution! Well, I'll sure be returning there soon. Oh! And not to mention, the self check out man was also very helpful. $1.60 left to pay, and the machine did NOT want my last single bill. So, coins it is! Shoving handfuls of coins down the coin machine's throat, it kept spitting them back out. So, we continued to take the coins it spat out and shove them back in! Well, we got down to $0.01. And let me tell you, this machine did NOT want my last penny. So, in comes Mr. checkout helper to the rescue! I saved one penny! He said he would override that last penny because of all our struggles. Wow! WHAT A DEAL! I will surely return there soon. Very soon! read more
