Most of these CVS store locations they are all pushed with the kiosk to get you to pay all by yourself. It's frees the cashier to do what they need to do. As the customer you interface with the machine. Sometimes this is great but sometimes it's not. For special items and pictures that you print these are behind the counter. This particular CVS, is a free style store. It's an older version that has not had all the updates but is still just as great. The human is the best part of the experience. When you pay, you do not interface with the machine. It's actually nice. The staff here is always great and super friendly. If you have questions they are welcome to help you solve it. The store is laid out in a clean and comfortable way. It's easy to maneuver the store and find what an individual might need, and lots of options that you did not know you needed. The store is selling tampered gift cards - they did not help with my giftcard that had holes punched in it so I pulled 4 more off of the shelf and opened them in front of the cashier (name started with "a" it was around 6:30 on 6/26) and 2 out of 4 were tampered with. I like to coupon and they have a lot of things locked however they are so nice and will help open anything you need no matter how many times you call them to open the shelves. I haven't had an issue with products or pharmacy. Staff is friendly. Just left this CVS, and am very disappointed. I will never return to this location again even though it's on my way home. Everything I needed today in the store is locked up. I get why some things need to be locked up... But when a customer uses the button to call a sales associate, you would think someone would show up. I waited five minutes... Rang it again.... And still no one showed up. I walked by the cashier area to see two employees up at the front. One was helping a customer, and the other was just standing there looking bewildered as another customer rang for a sales associate in another aisle. I love CVS in S Maryland Parkway/ Silverado Ranch. They always have coupons and available staff every time I need help. When I did my flu vaccine I received a $10 coupon that I can use inside the stores. The CVS rewards are a must, you will save a lot of money by using their deals and promotions. read more

This is apparently an old story...Somehow--somewhere there's a disconnect in communications...CVS says they've "called" my doctors office 3 times and no answer. My doctors office states they've left messages approving the refill for my prescription. Five days later---nothing. Finally CVS returns my phone call "we'll send a fax" ---"No don't because it isn't working" (definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result") ----"Call them!" --"do not send a fax!"---I even gave them the phone number of the doctors office...lets see what happens....any bets what happens next? read more

11/1/22- I can't begin to tell you how much I despise this location! If anyone has any recommendations for a new pharmacy please message me and share. I called around 6 something to check on a medication that was called in around 3pm. lol was put on hold for almost 40 minutes (see screenshots) then after furiously waiting all of that time, they hung up the phone. I called back again and was on hold for another 15 minutes before someone picked up. Keep in mind this place closes at 9pm. So the girl who answered the phone (and man do I wish I would have gotten her name) was rude as all get out and had an attitude with me because I was on hold and hung up on. I called her on it and she denied it of course. DESPISE!!!!!!!!!!!! Service and common sense is lacking at this pharmacy. I called in a refill two days ago, for a medication I'll call R. I went today to pick up that medication along with three other Rx's. R wasn't on the list and I asked what the reason was as I called in the refill earlier this week. The cashier said I had to take it to "drop off". I asked why do I have to stand in another line when I already called it in, and if it's not ready you should give it to the "drop off". My whole point: why make it the customers problem? She then said "oh I think I can submit it on the computer". That's not the worst part. I called to share my feedback with the manager Nicole. Well, Nicole spent more time telling me that it's not the cashiers job and "yes you would have to take it to drop off". How disappointing that a Manager fails to see the lack of common sense and instead is defending her stores workflows. Nicole I couldn't care less what your workflows are...you as CVS should be looking at ways to minimize hassle for your paying customers. Talk about a checklist mentality - stuck in a process instead of doing things logically. I asked for her manager's name and she said Natalie, who doesn't have a phone number or email. These negative reviews about the pharmacy are baffling to me--I've had nothing but good experiences here, and the pharmacy staff have always been as prompt as possible (it's a busy location, people) and extremely kind. The head pharmacist in particular--I *believe* her name is Nicole, but I'm not great at catching voices over the phone --has gone above and beyond to make sure that the uncommon name-brand medication mandated by my insurance was available so I wouldn't have lapses in treatment. Also, the guy who gave me a flu shot recently administered that thing like a pro. Didn't even hurt read more

CVS is always very busy. However, the staff is so helpful. They take the time to help you in the pharmacy or up front.

Horrible management. Went to pick up my online order 5minutes before closing and got yelled at the store was closed. When I explained my order was ready I was told "management" was there and that's why they then had to escort me out of the store and close early. Ridiculous. read more

Never had an issue here. Excellent customer service by Reggie and Nick. Reggie is fast too. He got me set up with a CVS rewards card and saved me substantial $ on my purchase. The downside is the email. Reggie saw the look of terror in my face when he requested my email. Like a stalker that has your cell number, the CVS promotional department is now contacting me constantly. C'mon CVS corporate, stop freaking me out. Pretty good pharmacy and consistent. Reliable. Wait times can suck somewhat but that's the case with a lot of pharmacies. Since moving to Vegas over a year 1/2 ago this is the only pharmacy I will go to from other experiences I have had while here. CVS usually is my go to. read more

Terrible pharmacy! I've been waiting close to 2 month for my child's diabetic supplies !! They do not tend to their customers , diabetic medications are always out of stock or "denied" even though they have prior authorizations and Insurance ON FILE & even the pediatrician has called them multiple times & they couldn't give her straight answers either on WHY they will not fill important diabetic medications.. Man, SCREW Corporate Pharmacy chains like CVS and Walgreens. The pharmacy employees look miserable due to being overworked and underpaid. In turn, they are completely apathetic when dealing with any customer. The phone system is a pain in the ass with an automated voice that you'd like to punch. If you so happen to breath too loud while it's yammering on about crap you aren't even calling for, it thinks you're saying something and pauses EVERYTHING to record you, then goes "Sorry, I didn't quite get that.." SHUT UP you stupid machine! I just want my freaking birth control pills! When I finally got through to talk to someone live, they said my birth control would be ready at 1PM. I go to the pharamacy at quarter to 2PM and it's not ready. How long does it take to slap a sticker on a box of sealed pill packs?? This isn't the first time this has happened. Switched pharmacies today after a very bad experience with a CVS at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Windmill (see my review of that pharmacy). My son recommended this pharmacy at the corner of Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch because he has never had any problems here. My doctor called in two prescriptions for me this morning. I was recently diagnosed with Covid and am feeling pretty miserable. When I called to check the status of my prescriptions, the system immediately identified by cell number and informed me that I have 2 prescriptions that are being processed. It gave me the time when my prescriptions would be ready. I called the pharmacy to give them my insurance information and I spoke with a very nice and courteous woman. She helped me with what I was calling for and told me " she hoped I will be feeling better soon." That meant a lot to a patient who is feeling pretty miserable!! My son is picking up my prescriptions for me because my husband and I need to isolate. He requested that my prescriptions be expedited and the pharmacy did just that! I think I have found a new pharmacy. Thanks for doing your jobs very well! read more

If I could give less than a star I would. Been trying to get my prescription transferred from this pharmacy to a Walgreens. Yesterday I was told they were out of a medication I was prescribed, and would have to go to another CVS or wait until the next day. I called at 9am today asking for the prescription to be transferred to a different pharmacy that accepts my insurance. It is now 7pm, and several phone calls later this has not been done. In my opinion as soon as I decided to take my business somewhere else they no longer cared. It's always comforting to know that they do not care as a pharmacy, and leave you sick without your prescription medication for almost 48 hours. This company should be ashamed. I used CVS for years, and no I will never be going back. read more

I am very disappointed in this pharmacy. I have a diabetic drug that I get automatically refilled monthly. I don't understand how a company as large as CVS can be out of stock. This medication is needed to keep my blood sugar in control, it's not a vitamin that can be skipped without adverse effects. I tried to contact the pharmacy however the phone system won't connect you to the pharmacy. It will allow you to leave a message and the pharmacy will call you back when it's convenient for them. What happened to customer service. If this pharmacy is too busy to answer phone calls they either need to hire more staff or loose some business. read more

I'm so upset after over 20 years with CVS I have dealt with constant nonsense from this location. I used to go to the Sunset store & I never had any issues. This store just doesn't fill your meds without notifying the customer if there's an issue. My primary ins doesn't partner with them anymore so it's been run through my secondary ins with no issues. This last time I was wondering why mine wasn't being filled so called my Dr. It was approved & waiting to be filled. I call the pharmacy & was told they won't run it through my secondary anymore. Then when I wanted to pay cash they said no because there's insurance on file. How does this make any sense. If they had an issue I should have been called. I said after 10 years with this store & over 20 total this is how you treat loyal customers who are trying to remain with CVS ??? I was told yes you'll have to go elsewhere even though it was approved?I've now been in extreme pain over a month now & it's taken so long I now have to wait to see the Dr.for a new script. Clearly CVS pharmacy at Maryland & Silverado are not customer oriented & could care less about customer experience or being responsible for their customer's pain. I'm in a customer service industry & this is inexcusable. They should be embarrassed to treat people this way. read more

Horrible location!! Do NOT come here to have photos developed. I dropped my disposable camera off on May 5th, 2-3 weeks passed and I still hadn't heard anything. I called to check a few times and still nothing. I finally show up on June 6th (a whole MONTH and a day later) and the girl hands me an EMPTY photo envelope with a sticker saying "package received empty"! The whole top piece that seals the envelope looked cut off and taped closed. Obviously not how it looked when I handed it to the store associate. She then proceeds to show me TWO more customer envelopes who unfortunately like me, are now forever out of our important memories. They didn't offer me any explanation or compensation for my personal property being damaged and missing. Nobody was held accountable and it's going to keep happening if they keep using paper envelopes to transport peoples precious belongings. I'm still pissed and very upset. I usually don't come here for prescriptions but my doctor called it into this place by mistake. I normally pay $4 for my prescription at the grocery store across the street. I waited 20 minutes in line as they have no idea what they're doing in this place and she rings up my prescription and told me it was $80. I looked at her and said are you out of your mind. If I could give this sorry excuse for a Pharmacy no stars, I would. First they love to take their time filling any prescription. The doctor can call it in, in the morning, they send you a text saying it's ready, and you get there, and they haven't even begun to fill it. My doctor has told them to stop a medication on me, when he found out that I was on another medication that would not interact well with this medication, but yet they continued to try, and fill it even after the doctor told them to stop. I told them that I was allergic to a medication, and yet they still tried to fill it, and give it to me. Now they're messing with my girlfriend. She's now using Henderson Pharmacy, which is so much better then this place. The Pharmacist has called them multiple times a day, asking for my girlfriend's prescriptions to be transferred to them, and they'll tell her they are on the way, and she receives nothing. My girlfriend just called, and they tried to lie, and say that they've been faxing her prescriptions all over the place which is cow manure, because my girlfriend tried to go to another Pharmacy a few months ago, because she had,had with this CVS,and this sorry excuse for a Pharmacy bullied, and threatened not to fill one of her prescriptions that her doctor had called in this pos CVS, because her new Pharmacy didn't have it,and she really needs to take it, and they couldn't decide on what story to go with either. I couldn't keep up with all their lies. My girlfriend, went back to them, so she could get that prescription that she really does need filled, because they bullied her, but we kept looking for another Pharmacy. My girlfriend found Henderson Pharmacy, and she really likes them, and they've been nothing, but kind, and professional to her, something this Pharmacy could learn how to do,and the Pharmacist there has called this sorry place multiple times a day for over a week, and the Pharmacy at CVS tells her that they're sending them, but she has yet to receive anything. Like I stated, my girlfriend called, and they tried to lie again, and say that they've faxed them all over, and she told them that was bull manure, because the Pharmacist at Henderson Pharmacy hasn't gotten a damn thing, and it's been over a week, so chop chop, do their job. I'm so proud of my girl for doing that. This Pharmacy does nothing, but lie, lie, lie. They lied about my girlfriend's doctor's receptionist too, and through him completely under the bus, and he didn't do what they said that he did, they lied about my girlfriend's prescription, and bullied her into coming back, and now they're saying that they've faxed my girlfriend's prescriptions to her new Pharmacy, and they haven't. How many more lies CVS? Must be nice to get paid for not doing your job. Henderson Pharmacy has been calling you multiple times a day, and you say that you're sending my girlfriend's prescriptions, and you lie and say that you faxed them all over, which you haven't, so what next? Are you going to say that they were lost while you were faxing, that your canine ate them, come on, let's hear the next lie. Now send my girlfriend's prescriptions by fax to Henderson Pharmacy ASAP, they open at 8am and close at 5pm, and they're closed on the weekend, so do the job that you're getting paid to do, but you're not doing. UPDATE: My girlfriend just called corporate again, she called yesterday too, and corporate is just as bad as CVS Pharmacy. They don't listen, totally get what you tell them wrong, and then cop attitude when you tell them they got what you told them wrong. They also want you to do their job for them. As in the nitwit who was suppose to be helping my girlfriend, said that she was going to call this Pharmacy right then and there, my girlfriend told her that there was a three (3) hour time difference, and gave them the time here in Las Vegas. The said nitwit, said "Oh I see that they open at 8am. Can you call back then?" My girlfriend lost it then. She told this nitwit, and I listened, because she had them on speaker, that she wasn't going to do their job. That they didn't do anything yesterday, and now they expect her to call back, when all they had to do, was make a note about calling at 8am, 11am their time, and ask them what's the hold up with getting her prescriptions transferred, that if they wanted her to do their job, they had better fing pay her,so since they're not, to do what they're being paid for, because they have an irrate customer, and after they do their job, and transfer her prescriptions, that she'll NEVER step foot in a CVS again,and she hung up on them.
