Where Centerville fails in customer service and availability of items this location excels. Every employee I encountered has been helpful and pleasant. They even went out of their way to cut some jackfruit for me when all they had on the floor was whole. Jackfruit is something I've never seen outside of Brooklyn and is as nutritious as it is delicious. Kudos to Giant/Mt Joy for introducing it to suburbia! In addition to fresh cut, and whole, they also feature it in their salad bar and a bbq version as it's a vegan substitute for pulled pork. While the store itself is a little smaller it's less crowded and still has all the departments of its larger siblings. Additional there's consistently been baggers and parking close has never been an issue. There's also a small kiddie table with coloring pages and crayons for the little ones while you check out. If you hand in their art to an employee they'll proudly display it. Sign up for their bonus card for additional savings and perks and check their Weds flier for coupon savings and extra gas points. This week a free Wishborn 16 oz salad dressing was loaded to my card. Aside from the store this location has pumps so you can take advantage of your gas points after you shop.

I had called to have them refilled in plenty of time. I was told their supplies did not come in yet, maybe later today or tomorrow. So I had to make a second trip back the next day. This time they only had one more filled. Their shipment for the third script had not come in yet. By now I was angry. I had already made a second trip in and now I was being told to come back tomorrow. What is wrong with you that I can only pick up one script at a time? I cannot keep coming back in everyday and I need that prescription now, like today. The woman said " Let me see if we have any extras on hand" When she came back she said they would be able to fill it today. She also told me that had I said all that the first day I was in I could have gotten them all on the first day. Today, several weeks later now, I was in again to pick up a prescription that my doctor had called in several days earlier. This time I was told that they had not started filling it yet. I told them I needed it today, I was totally out. Well we have it but we have not started refilling it yet. I asked when it would be ready. "Well maybe in 15 or 20 minutes we can have it ready". Oh wait it looks like there is a problem with the insurance and you will have to speak with the pharmacist. After a a few minutes the pharmacist came over with the prescription and told the cashier how to ring it up asking him, did he want him to do it, no I think I will be able to do it. He then started doing a lot of typing on the computer and when the phone rang he picked that up and started taking all the information down on the caller, while I sat there. Finally another employee came and finished typing for him and rang up the sale. What is wrong with this pharmacy? It is never ready, you need to come back, or there is a problem with the insurance, or we have not started filling that yet? Every time it is a different excuse. They did not use to be like this. Infact I was always very happy with them. That is no longer the case.

Wegmans is really top of the line when it comes to grocery stores and I really wish we had these or something like them in the Midwest. The grocery and specialty item selection is expansive, the customer service is great and the prices are right on par with other, less nice, grocery stores. I don't know how they do it? This particular location has a great ready made food area including sushi and hot food, a sandwich shop, and a coffee station. There is a nice wine/beer shop within and an amazing selection of fresh cheeses and meats. My favorite part is the bakery; so many great things to choose from!

It took…read morea while to find it in the store (it was all the way in the back on an end cap) but I did see all sorts of other things while I was in there. This store is kind of an oddity to me. The prices are more expensive than a dollar store for the same stuff that both carry and to a large part, are more expensive than a Target or WalMart on like items. The only reason I went to this store is that they are very close to my house, otherwise, I would have gone elsewhere.

Did shopping this morning, they've been moving items around to different locations, reducing the…read morevariety of items or doing away with items completely. On average it's been taking 20 minutes longer to shop. I found items past the sell by date and told an associate, she had no clue where to look for the date! Another issue is with over packing the bags with either heavy items or to a point of over filling. We use the bags purchased from them so as not to use the throw away bags. When we checkout we always tell the cashier not to make them heavy, but they don't listen. I had to repack three bags to make the either manageable or so they don't crush items. We have been shopping here since 2019 so it's not easy to change but it's time. We have been shopping at Martin's and they have most of the items we use but meat, especially chicken breasts are better sized and trimmed from Redner's. Also Martins is not open on Sunday. We're going to start shopping at Weis and see if it meets our needs.
