I'm only here when staying at the nearby hotel 2-3x a year. While its insanely convenient for all your daily needs of food, snacks, coffee and the like, it seems the prices have been steadily creeping up. $7 for 2 1 liter waters is a bit aggressive. Even the .99 Arizona ice teas are $1.50! That is sacrilege. Still given the proximity from the hotel, ease and distance takes the sting out of paying a little more for whatever you want or need. read more

As far as Sheetz go in our area I think this one is the best. They did recently remodel so that helps. It seems like the wait at the cashier is always long because it's usually just one cashier. Employees are nice. I wish they would refill the decaf coffee more frequently in the evenings. I enjoy the bonus rewards points you get on your card for your birthday! Look, you slackers working at Sheetz need to step your dog-game. I have been to this location a multitude of times and the dogs have been superb, but in recent weeks they have let me down. Every time I have received my dogs they've either been cold or not topped off with the condiments ordered. For example, I went today and I ordered a hot dog with ketchup and mayo. Simple, it came with the right condiments ordered. Finally I was satisfied. It wasn't until I took a bite of my first dog realizing my dissatisfaction due to how cold it was. There have been a few other times that i've gotten condiments on the dog that you aren't even able to order for them. The other food selections aren't great either, every time I order a burrito it falls apart within 4-5 bites. Alas, my satisfaction with this sheetz location has gone down over time. Very impressed with the keto options along with copious amounts of sugary crack treats. The turkey creek dill pickle chicarrones are crunchy, salty, and "dill"iscious! Grass fed venison Jerry and cheesy crisps are also terrific healthy choices here. I ordered the custom cobb salad from the kiosk only it didn't have any tomatoes or a boiled egg on it which was a bummer. They were also out of stock in boiled eggs in the fresh cooler too. Verdict: Not much beats a Sheetz for fried food. The rest is hit or miss. Sheetz is a hometown hero for some. If you're closer to Philly, it's Wawa before Sheetz of course. They each have their own MTO highlights. I'd give fried foods to this chain, including their tater tots. I picked up a hefty and hearty breakfast sandwich at this one and they did a good job with it. The challenge was getting all the random ingredients stacked in between that pretzel bun. They managed it and a tipmof my hat for that. Did the sandwich change my world? One of the many Sheetz stations around Lancaster, this particular one stands out by the black trim on the outside of the building and gas pumps at this location. I've never seen Sheetz look like this before, and I've been to a great many of them here in Pennsylvania. It's definitely not their newer look; this station has been around & looked like this for a good 5 or more years. The inside is typical clean, full-service Sheetz tho; in fact, it is one of their slightly larger buildings. In fact it almost feels rather cavernous, as it has an indoor dining area AND a 'soda cave' that has chilled carry-out packaged drinks. It's tough to go wrong with most Sheetz locations, and this certainly lives up to their name - with a unique outdoor look (as far as I know) for Sheetz. read more

Never been in the store but have stopped here for gas when in the area. The parking lot is large and they do have a lot of pumps. I don't know if they offer a loyalty card like Turkey Hill does but prices are about the same before the TH discount. This location is always crowded and difficult more often than not to turn left onto Eden Rd to exit. Worth mentioning because it's really problematic. But the location is good as it's located near the Eden Resort, a few chain restaurants, a business park, and a shopping center. A few miles up the road is a Turkey Hill that's easier to get in/out of and also located near eateries and a shopping plaza. It's nice to have options. read more

I'm normally a HUGE fan of Sheetz, but this location is just bad. We did the MTO food thing, then they had one guy running the register with a line wrapped back into the snack isles. For some reason, he was averaging about 5 minutes per order to ring up (which seems long for sodas, chips and gas). So we finally get through the line and pay, then go back to the food area to pick up our food, and the guy back there seems really confused. Taking food items out of bags and putting them into other orders etc. This gets me nervous so I at least check for the correct number of items in my bag, which there are, so we leave. My food came out OK, but my daughter got the appetizer platter, and it only contained 2 of the 3 items in there. We were on our way to her LAX game so no time to return and wait in line to get that fixed. On top of that, my wife pulled out her breakfast wrap and the egg was still frozen! I now know that they don't really make the eggs to go into these sandwiches, but just pull from a freezer and microwave them, which is kind of gross. But then they actually forgot to microwave it and just stuck it in a wrap with some unmelted cheese. I'll continue to go to other Sheets locations, but this one has performed poorly on too many occasions to give them another chance. I think management may need a reboot to the staffing situation. read more

The cents-back feature on gasoline is a nice feature. But when I dug deeper and read the credit terms on the card, I found that they are charging an APR of 21.74 to 27.74%! Because its right along a rt 30 entrance and exit ramp, and if youre driving and running out of gas, you will pay more and like it. I've never had a problem at this Sheetz. The food is always good, especially late at nite. Plenty of parking spaces and plenty of pumps if you need to get gas. One thing you may not know about Sheetz is they have an ATM machine that does not wack you a transaction fee. What really made me mad is PNC wacks you like $2 if you use it!!! Grrrrrr..... Shady.... Anyhow, the subs are very good and believe it or not the fries are super good. Right now you can get a foot long for $4 so it's a pretty good deal. They have public bathrooms that are clean. Sheetz is like Wawa but with fast food style food (burgers, nachos) and everything on the menu ends in "Z". (So those would actually be burgerZ and nachoZ) The store is clean and reasonably well-organized. As for gas prices, I've seen gas stations selling at 2 cents less than this Sheetz so their prices really aren't too bad for something just off the highway. Also, I have to say that in Lancaster, it's hard to find a restaurant open late at night so Sheetz will have to do if I'm staying up later than the Amish. read more
