I was running errands in the vicinity and decided to detour to this CVS location in Kenmore (8/18/26). This location ranks much higher that other locations visited in Lynnwood, Edmonds, Silverdale, and Seattle/Northgate. Brief wait at the pharmacy, actual smiling, helpful staff (vs the often harried and dour). I was pleasantly surprised that the item sought out was available on the shelf, in two quantities, and reasonably priced. Checkout at the front was also expedient and pleasant. I actually felt like I experienced the pharmacy lottery. Versus other CVS sites, Walgreens, and grocery store pharmacies...this was a great overall experience. Thank you CVS Kenmore! read more

I get 4 controlled substance prescriptions each month for a year now. It is a large quanty so I go by or call and tell them it coming up so please check your stock. They say they can't do anything until it's due. Ok, so i call 2 days after it was due and they say they don't have enough pills. You have to wait 3 days and we will have enough. You can call and remind us 2 days before it is due. Politely I am pissed because I did just that and was told I can't. Bottom line is they don't appear to have any idea on what their procedure is but the one that is hurt is the customer. Added days on the end now adds days on the front end. Come on people get it right! Withdrawals are horrible to go through. read more

This store is pretty pathetic . Asked for the bathroom key at the pharmacy and they said sorry you have to go up front. The bathroom is literally right next to the pharmacy so I had to walk allll the way up front, try and get someone's attention just to find that the bathroom had ZERO toilet paper and ZERO paper towels. Their incompetence and ignorance of WA state liquor laws is astounding! When clearancing old Rite Aid stock they attempted to charge the spirits liter tax on beer. Then said it was "the system" and couldn't do anything about. This NEVER happened with Rite Aid. Ever. This helped push me over the edge to stop drinking...and to never return to CVS since. Absolute nightmare, and it's all from corporate. This was a perfectly good Rite-Aid, but CVS is staggeringly incompetent from top to bottom. From being there, I can tell that former Rite-Aid staff are as frustrated as anyone else, but that doesn't fix it. Don't try to use the phone services unless you like spending half an hour to bully your way to a person only to have the system reboot and send you back to the first menu mid-conversation to start all over again, don't try to use the web services - do they even work? If you must use CVS do everything in person, it's your only shot and it _will_ be awful but it will _also_ be the least frustrating option. Me, I found another pharmacy. read more

It's no RiteAid, that's for dang sure. The various apps are a mess, their website has errors, logging in has been a nightmare. I call to see if I have a pickup, get a robot runaround for 30 minutes and promised a call back. Get none. I feel for the riteaid staff that were kept on, cvs has a terrible system and it just puts pressure on the staff. If I had a choice I wouldn't be using it, frankly. The riteaid app was so simple and effective, and now it's relegated to multiple cvs apps that hardly work. read more

This pharmacy is so bad. Staff are impolite, incompetent, confused. They don't refill the medications on time, they send customers from one window to another and no one can do anything meaningful. There is no drive through. read more

Never had an issue with the store or pharmacy. I get notifications when my meds are due for a refill and when they're ready for pickup. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I went in for a shot and the person who did it was super gentle. I didn't feel a thing. read more

They would not honor GoodRx coupon for my prescription. I pay out pocket and even transferred from Costco because their price was less. I'm disappointed but not surprised. Also I wish they get stock in shelves although I've noticed their prices are higher. read more

Best pharmacy experience i've had my whole life honestly. The app is so helpful and it's always ready when I need.

I understand that transferring between two businesses can be difficult, but the level of incompetence of the pharmacy here is ridiculous. If you had a deal with rite aid before they switched to CVS through your insurance, there is a high chance it is no longer valid. This wouldn't have been an issue for me if they could have just told me up front, but of course it took them 3 days of me being generous with my time just to find out I'd have to get it filled some place else. There is a reason you don't need a bachelors degree to be a pharmacist. read more

I used to love this pharmacy when it was Rite Aid--the staff were always polite and helpful. Since it became CVS, my experience has been very disappointing. Today, one of my medications wasn't available. Instead of telling me, the pharmacist gave me the generic without asking. When I expressed concern, she said, "Do you want it or not?"--extremely rude. She then sent me to another CVS location for a medication she didn't have, without checking if my insurance would cover it. I had to drive there only to find out it required pre-approval. To make matters worse, it took five and a half hours to return my call. I also agree with other reviewers--the long, robotic phone menu is awful, with no option to ever transfer to a staff member, only to leave a message. Since this location opened, today was the third time I've been disappointed. It's time to look for a new pharmacy. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! They did not have enough of my medication, so they gave me a 30 day supply. You can't ever talk to a "real" person. When you call after hours, the phone menu says, press 0 to leave a message. But you can't leave a message! It is so frustrating! I tried to renew a prescription that has refills on it (they expire in July of 2026) but it says the prescription cannot be refilled. I am changing pharmacies. They are really horrible! read more

This has been the most difficult pharmacy to work with since taking over Rite Aid. Despite multiple confirmations from my doctor that prescriptions were sent, I'm repeatedly told they don't have them. The new operating system is unreliable, and I feel for the former Rite Aid staff who are having to manage these ongoing issues. read more

Firdt of all, you can NEVER call and talk to a live person. You always get the automated greeting that never has the information right. They ask if you want a call back within 1 hour and both times they have called me back within that time. But i hate that I can't call and speak to someone on MY schedule. This is not good customer service. They are prioritizing their needs over their customer's. I've had a prescription at this location for about two years (it used to be a Rite Aid). I knew that they were becoming a CVS this week so I called them last week to ask if there was anything I needed to do to make sure that my prescription transferred to CVS with no problems because I was due to refill this week. They said "no everything will transfer over automatically." But I called in for my refill today and the automated system told me that I had nothing that was eligible for a refill today. So I had to leave my request for a call back and wait. They did call me back in about 40 minutes and were very pleasant but told me that because my prescription was a controlled substance (Adderall) it couldn't be transferred and that my doctor would need to call them directly in order to get the refill. Now I will need to pay my doctor a $25-$50fee that he charges if he has to make a non-standard call for a refill (this is not covered by insurance). But i was just in for a check up a few days ago and it was after being told by CVS that there was nothing I needed to do to be sure that my prescription at Rite Aid would transfer to CVS smoothly. If they had informed me of this situation then I would have told the doctor to wait until I told him to call the pharmacy, after the CVS takeover had finalized. So their mistake has wasted my money and time! read more
