Terrible customer service practice. First you walk in and they greet you, then they follow you around the store suggesting items for you to purchase that you don't want or ask for. After selecting an item from the clearance section, the clerk trys to sale you the item at regular price and once you call them out on it they go ahead and take 25% off on a 50-75% item. Please be honest with your customers. Not all super supplements store are like this but this location has stiffed me too many times and I won't be shopping here anymore. read more

Super Supplements is my go-to vitamin store for all of my homeopathic remedies and aids to ramp up for sustained good health during flu season. For my needs, they are a one-stop-shop at a reasonable price. Recently remodeled and conveniently located on the corner of SR522 and NE 175th St. in Kenmore. It's a stand alone store, so they have their own parking lot. Be sure to sign up for their free Healthy Rewards Loyalty Club - after spending a certain amount, you'll receive discounts on upcoming purchases. Over the years, some of the employees have been gym rats and if you wanted products to bulk up, they knew that brand of nutrition. Not my cup of tea. However, I have often received good help from Robert. He is extremely knowledgeable on products and their benefits, brand names and an overall healthy lifestyle. Robert has always been able to answer my laundry list of questions especially since I usually come in after doing my homework. This last visit, I came in to fulfill a joint and stiffness supplement for my dog. I couldn't find it on the shelf. I asked Robert if he could answer why. He readily assisted me by doing a quick online search and determined that the product had recently merged with another company and are being sold under a new brand name. I had no idea and would have left unsatisfied if Robert had not gone out of his way to help me. He even offered to order the new product online for me and have it shipped. I thanked him for his kindness and said I'd go home and do a little more research and return. To me, that kind of above and beyond customer service lacks in most retail shops today. Anyone can run a cash register and take your money. In a store like Super Supplements, more often than not, customers have many questions and need recommendations. Sometimes just navigating the store to find what you're looking for can be a challenge. I appreciate Robert's helpful knowledge an often look for him when I come in to shop. This is one of my favorite places to shop. They have an excellent selection of everything from protein powders to nutrition bars to vitamins and minerals. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful: they make a special effort to get to know regular customers and point out new products that fit their goals. Super Supplements also recently added a keto section that has products for people following a ketogenic way of eating. Selection includes products for those after the neurological benefits and those who are after weight loss benefits. They also usually have some pretty swell clearance items and samples on hand. read more

A lot has happened in four years, namely, prices and availability. I don't shop here any more because you have to pay a premium price not to wait to have the same product shipped through the mail from Amazon.com or ebay.com, both of which supply all my supplement needs, and mostly ebay.com. Super Supplements is just too expensive, but they have to be, because it's a physical building and they have to pay for rent, utilities, salaries, etc. But there is no law that says I MUST shop here, so for me, price means everything--especially when you can buy exactly the same items online for about half of what they are charging here, and you can buy even a broader range of products from the same manufacturers such as NOW, Herb Pharm, Nature's Way, Nature's Bounty, Swanson's, and even home-made brands that sell for much less. But, I suppose if you have a lot of money and just need something to do because you're retired and have all day, go for it. I don't mind supporting the local economy, but if I can get the same product for HALF of what I would pay here and only wait two or three days for shipping, I am going to take the online option. It's the way things are now. No offense. But I do like the smell of this store and having the convenience if I don't have time to wait. Generally, though, there's not one supplement in the world I can't wait three days for. read more

I'm a big Super Supplement fan, having been to the Redmond and Bellevue sites often. I only went to this site once (today), but was super impressed by this store! First, don't go by the photos of this store that are posted here. Sometime within the past year, this store has totally been renovated, outside and inside. The store exterior is totally different: it is more modern, larger, with a nice sized parking lot. The store interior is also more contemporary, with more light and wider aisles to navigate. Like the other stores, there is a huge selection of product here. The staff were knowledgeable about their inventory and the products they carry, and there sales are great. read more

Had another issue with returning an item because I was overcharged for it. The person on the phone acted as though I was annoying her. Rather than being concerned that I was overcharged, she started spouting store "policy" at me...never a good sign. Something I learned: their in-store prices sometimes differ dramatically from their online prices...why, you ask? I don't know. I buy my supplements here mostly because it is convenient. However, I'm shopping around for better prices and friendlier staff. Local business owners complain when customer shop online. The antidote is stellar customer service. After I return this item, this will be the last time that I set foot in a SS store. read more

The verdict is in, VITAMINS WORK! Dump the pills and meds. I don't care what any naysayers declare! Super Supplements has yet to come up short when it comes to selection and choice. Last week I was looking for probiotics. There were no less then *40* different kinds. Always at the top of my list: Emergen-C Kombucha Tea Women's Daily Multi-Vit Bumble Bars Protein Shakes And a few others but that's TMI. So make your OWN list, and go save a few $$. The prices are always low but I've heard THEY TAKE competitors coupons! Staff is knowledgeable- and if they don't know the answer they will help look it up for you on the spot. Located in an old Taco Time building...this Super Supplements may be small/cramped, but its got everything you need! I am a big fan of this chain. Their prices are good, and like I mentioned, they have everything you could ever want. Their staff is knowledgeable and eager to help! I've been frequenting this location lately, after switching my diet to the "Dr. Oz" way of eating - one of the employees said that Im not the only one doing this - they are having a hard time keeping Spirutein Unsweetened Vanilla on the shelf! She let me know that they can get it from other stores though, and have it in stock within a day - so I thought that was excellent! Fantastic store! As said by others - the staff is fantastic and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive and I always feel like I get a reasonable deal going here. This Winter season I had a sore throat/cough that would not go away. As a last resort, I ran over to SS and asked for a recommendation. The lady (ahh, forgot her name) handed me something from her pocket to try. I forget the name of the product too but it was a lozenge and worked great. I bought a box and I finally got better. But now that I am older, I love checking these places out and learning about alternative options. This store needs to be at the top of every person's go-to list. There is something here for everyone and so many solutions to different ailments that too many of us accept as "part of life." I definitely come here for my herbal supplements (echinacea-blech!! and scullcap) but there are also selections of teas, beauty and health products, and household cleaning products. Who knew a supplement store could have a pamper-yourself aisle?? I've recently started picking up organic and natural lotions and soaps here, and I feel better knowing that I'm using REAL ingredients instead of engineered substitutes. I didn't expect the employees to be entirely proficient but they've always been able to help me find what I need and even help me pick the best product for whatever I'm dealing with. Mad props!! Passing the savings onto the customers....what a concept! Super Supplements buys in bulk---lots of bulk---and it shows up in the cost to the consumer. The staff that works here isn't the most knowledgeable but I suppose its not fair to quiz them on stuff when I know the answer already. This place has become one of my latest haunts. I could spend a lot of money there (and I do) but I could spend a lot more elsewhere. They have the best prices I've seen and the knowledgable staff is really helpful and offer resources if they aren't sure about a vitamin, mineral, drug, etc. The store is a little small but that will likely change soon. Been in twice. 1st time, had to wait 5 mins before I actually got someone to get some help. The person was very nice and we agreed and sold me on a good product. She said to call back if I wanted to get some more. Next day I call back and put the item on hold. I said I would be either in one or two days. She said ok. I go in the next day and the item was taken off hold and sold. No more left in stock. Waste of a 15 minute drive. The man just said sorry, and I left shaking my head. Very knowledgeable staff. There's a guy here who I suspect is the manager and he really knows the selection and helps you pick the right products. I will say tho that the prices are only OK. Anyone who shops for supplements knows that online at Vitacost, Lucky Vitamins, Natural Healthy Concepts (pharmaceutical-level brands like Thorne, Metagenics, Douglas etc) is a better deal but there are times I haven't planned and need something right away. On July 14th my girlfriend and I stopped in this store looking for a product to assist with her onset cold like symptoms, we walked in and proceeded to walk down the aisles. There were two female employees in the store one was behind the cashier counter and the other was in one of the aisles organizing products, we walk by the employee in the aisle and she looked at us made eye contact and without saying a word she turned and walk off back behind with other employee. They conversed about their personnel live while we searched for our product, I thought about asking for assistance but out of curiosity I wanted to see just how long either one would offer assistance, after search down almost every aisle before finding our product neither one acknowledges our presents let along offer assistance. It baffles my mind in these days of hardship finding a job that they couldn't find employees that possess better customer service qualifications. Perhaps they do but just not to utilize them base on our physical appearance, not sure what happened there but defiantly not a pleasant experience. It was ridiculously bad that I had to sign up a account on yelp in order to review it. read more
