Stopping at CVS is a convenience thing....yes there are places with lower advertised prices but by the time I can add my weekly percent off coupon, any digital coupons and sometimes even a paper coupon, a particular item's price can be very close to a discount store price. I went to get some shampoo and the Garnier Fructis was on sale recently and I had some coupons to apply to my purchase. They had a good selection of scents and varieties, which made my purchase a good one. I like this location, it's in a busy area of Johnston, which makes it an easy stop for several places within 1 mile and get lots of shopping done. read more

I always stop here to get random items when I visit. The parking lot is ok, I always find spots. The location is convenient and on my normal route. It's a standard CVS, nothing special but it has the items I need. I usually stop in to purchase birthday cards or when my baby was drinking formula, I would get some there. The prices and products are comparable to other CVS's. Don't forget to sign up for a CVS card to get coupons and savings. Service was good, I'm usually in and out of there quickly. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy ever and they just made it worse. If you'd like to speak to the pharmacy, now you do you have to leave a message and they'll get around to calling you back in a couple days, hopefully. I just canceled everything there and I'm moving to Walgreens where they treat you better. Not much, but definitely better than this. I dropped off a rx this afternoon. they said 45 minutes. I sent my daughter after work to get it because I was not feeling well. She sat in line for 20 minutes at the drive through with her children and they only helped 3 people. There were 3 more in front of her. I told her to forget it and leave them. I have to say as far as proximity and accessibility this CVS is it. But, as far as the pharmacy it's a miss. I have double coverage and for whatever reason they seem to be unable to use both of my coverages which means I'm forced to pay a copay which defeats the purpose of my family having two commercial insurances. I might add that I work with insurances so I'm familiar with how things work. Back to Walmart or Walgreens we go. Such a shame. read more

I like this CVS, they're all alike really but some are obviously better then others. I stopped in quick this morning for a few things and I thought it was a pretty nice store overall. It was well stocked,looked clean and set up easy enough to find what you're looking for. The older woman working the checkout was mad cool and funny I liked her...nice to see a happy worker first thing in the morning. Great location and plenty of parking,no complaints here :) read more

Pharmacy customer service is absolutely terrible. Rude, inaccurate times. Avoid at all costs. RX manager Brendan Bilobeau was rude. Talking about customers right in front of them saying "well they just have to wait, they're not the only ones here" after they gave a false ETA of 20 minutes that turned into an hour and 15 minutes while I have the flu and strep. Been sitting here for 10 minutes now and still nobody came to the window and when i pressed the button service the lady said "a couple minutes" Im still waiting.Its currently 9:36 pm i need my medication!!!!!! update: just rang the button again and a woman said "yup a few more minutes were really busy in here" first off, theres like nobody in the parking lot and i was the first one here in the drive thru. yall need better customer service and more workers if its "so busy" that you leave customers at the drive thru waiting almost 20 minutes now. read more

I'm a CVS loyalist through and through. I literally drive past a Rite-Aid because I much prefer CVSs as a whole. This location, however, is in need of some TLC. When entering the store, the automatic collapsible door seems to struggle to operate, but once you're inside you realize that the store in general misses the mark as compared to other CVS locations. The store is noticeably smaller, the selection limited, and the store seems to be less clean than its CVS counterparts. Parking is tough as well. There are plenty of spots, but the lot is quite awkward and I've witnessed a lot of near misses as a result. read more

By far the worst pharmacy ever. Everytime I ever have any prescriptions sent there, there is always an issue or an hour wait. I spent two hours at urgent care yesterday, had 3 meds called into the pharmacy. I get a text saying they're ready. I get to CVS, wait in line for 20 minutes for them to tell me it'll be another half hour - mind you, it's now 8:30 and I have a sleepy 6 year old with me. I confirm there are 3 meds and I will pick them tomorrow (today). I get there today, they "didn't get" one of my meds, after I confirmed there were THREE yesterday. This is the most poorly ran pharmacy I've ever seen, and everyone I know agrees. Everytime I openly complain about this pharmacy, there are always ATLEAST two other people in agreement. I was calling the pharmacy to check on a rx that they were filling to talk to someone to see if it was ready. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes waiting, so I stayed on my phone got into my car and drove to the pharmacy on cruches mind you, I made my was to the pharmacy and looked around 5 pharmacy techs and a pharmacist on duty, phones everywhere not one was ringing, mind you I am still on the phone with the pharmacy waiting to talk to them. I asked to speak with the pharmacist. So he came over and I handed him my phone and asked him how he likes to be on hold for over 3p minutes. They must have turned off all the ringers on all the phones in the pharmacy. Great customer service. Might have to take my family's scripts to a different company. This store sucks. I worked for CVS for 15 years and we never treated customers like this. I called CVS corporate office to talk to customer service to give them feedback, and of course I was on the phone on hold for over 1 hour. I ended up hanging up. I guess they don't care either. The company is not the same company I worked for. Really bad customer service!!! read more

This location is most definitely lacking. The pharmacy is a mess to say the least. I received the customary text early in the am to notify me that my rx was ready. Several hours later, I came in. There were 8 people in the pharmacy and only one person helping customers. Then, I was told that my prescription was not ready. Wtf?! The person actually assisting customers seemed new or at least totally clueless. Poor service through and through. I'll wait a few days for my usual CVS to get my rx in before I venture here again. read more

I HATE CVS! Went in today because of a 20% off coupon, and a $5 off coupon. Put each coupon with each product, to come home to discover that things were cashed out as 20% off the cheap item ... maybe not the clerk's fault, since I believe CVS is a money-hungry screw-people company. But, it would have been nice if the check-out boy mentioned this. This is not my 1st issue with CVS - at this point, no matter what sort of coupon they get to me, NEVER AGAIN will I spend my $$ there!!!! read more
