Also grabbed a Cuban sandwich which had a ton of meat and my husband really enjoyed. Staff were helpful and friendly. They had a variety of fresh heat and serve meals. I regret I didn't grab the fish dip while there since I never ended up trying on this trip.

She asked my name again in Spanish. Then she started looking in the alphabetical photo bins. If this wasn't taking forever, I would have laughed out loud. She was looking at the wrong letter! Mind you I have an easy, 2 syllable common Anglo last name. Finally, she pulled out that photo bin and it was the small envelope on top. Not sure how/why you hire folks with no English to deal with the public.

The first time we stopped, I needed change to pay for air. The place was really busy and I was in line for several minutes just to get change for a dollar. People were buying food, chicken, potatoes, etc. and it seemed really popular. There were picnic tables outside and everyone seemed really friendly. I was mostly annoyed to stand there waiting just to get change. Thankfully we made a habit of holding onto quarters the rest of the trip so we could get in quickly for the air the tire needed. I can't remember how much the air was. Seems like we typically paid $1.75 which I think is ridiculous, but whatever, not like we had a lot of options.

The station is clean and easily accessible from the north or south bound side of US 1. The store is well lit and always clean. The staff member that was working was nice and fast to get you in and out. This only complaints I have is when I visited they did not have any Pepsi. So I opted to get a fountain Coke and that was out also.
