This is a decent grocery store to find just about anything you want, and the prices are a bit better than Publix. We bought multiple bags of Key Limes to take back home! The parking lot is huge and clean, as is the store. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Even if they can tell than you're from out of town, they don't treat you like an outsider. I loved this grocery store. They had so much good stuff. Everyone found so much things to buy in my family from my dad to my daughter. They even had fireworks for the Fourth of July. The cake section looked beautiful. The fruit was really delicious and very interesting different things that I've never seen before. I would definitely go back here again. Date of visit: Sept 22, 2022 We stopped into the store to pickup some groceries for our week stay in Marathon. The parking lot definitely needs attention for trash pickup, and individuals loitering about. The inside of the store had a very large selection of foods. Their alcohol section is limited up to wine. We bough a huge apple pie (think Costco or Sam's size) from their bakery area for $10.99. It was one of the better ones I have tasted. I wish it had some more apple slices though. They had all the items we were looking for. We spent about a $139 for a cart of food. The 4 employees I engaged were helpful and knowledgeable. The store was clean inside. I found the prices and deals to be better than the Publix next door. read more

Noticed a friend and I were shopping the other day and noticed that they were serving oxtail in the cafeteria area. We decided to try it since we love to eat oxtail, i'm Cuban so I know the taste so we decided to get it and when we did, it was amazing we my husband went back the second day to see if they had it and they did and he got it again. Wonderful today I went back and got another meal, but this time it was steak with creole sauce, white rice, yucca with mobile and salad and let me tell you folks knowing how to cook this, I can tell you it was worth it! read more

The staff here, pretty friendly in my time there. They have hot cuban bread, a beer fridge, and pretty well stocked store. I'd say there is some confusion on where stuff is, but generally it's got it. Fruit and veggies I feel are a bit of a small section. I'd also really like if they had single cans of beer for sale. read more

We like going to this store as it is less chaotic than going to Publix. Here of late though, the deli is never open anymore! We go repeatedly to get hot food from there and there is none. The rest of the store staff doesn't seem to know why no one is in the deli and why there isn't any food. Very disappointing! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I have never been in a grocery store with a ruder bunch of employees ask a question I was just given a dirty look and turned and looked away . The deli department might be the worst two individuals I have ever interacted with . Poor management from a rude manager that would allow employees to treat customers like this. read more

Awesome Winn-Dixie, although I'm usually a Publix guy, this store is a better choice while on vacation. The BIG advantage is the seafood department. Many choices at much better prices than the local seafood markets and unlike publix, they bring in local seafood ( Mahi, key west shrimp, grouper etc.) Good selection of beer as well. read more

Absolutely the worst shopping experience ever. The store itself is very poorly organized. The isles are narrow and have product in the middle. The produce is moldy. And they never have enough staffed checkouts. read more

I was very disappointed when I rode my electric bike to the store and there was no bike rack to lock it to.

was checking out at self check out and waited for the lady to come and ID me. as soon as she came over she wanted to check everyone's i'd. we were in a group and my boyfriend and friend were handing her their ID's as well and she wouldn't let me purchase. very disrespectful and just ridiculous to be honest no other place ever does that. very very unpleasant lady named mireya. read more

OK so I go into Winn-Dixie I have a little can of Starbucks coffee when I go pay the young girl told me that she's closed in my defense there is no light whatsoever and there's no rope or chain signifying that they are closed on the next counter I asked for change and I'm told that she does not have enough quarters to give me I have to go to another line customer service now here's my thing with the lack of employment there is in the Florida Keys for tickly in marathon establishment should do a lot better job making sure that their staff is fully prepared at all times to meet the requirements of any gas to come then to their building it's bad enough that there's not a big selection in this Winn-Dixie and it's bad enough that the place look like they can't afford any more lighting it's very dark it doesn't give us a welcoming environment it's not a wonder why the publics that's next-door to them has more volumetric read more

I was just in this store on Friday, 6/26 at 11 AM. I was going to use the restroom and get groceries. I left my facial covering in my car and realized it once I was already halfway to the restroom. With nature calling the way it does, I ran to the bathroom and did my business and was on my way out to my car to get my mask and come back in to do a shopping when I was cornered by what I think was a manager. He got very close to me and told me that i couldn't be in the store without a mask. When I explained that it was in my car and I was leaving to get it, he said "Good, you should be leaving..." in a very aggressive and rude tone. He reached for my arm as if he was going to physically escort me out of the store, at which point I walked ahead of him to get away from him and out of the store. Now, I 1000000% support facial coverings, probably more than most, but there was no reason for the attitude, tone and mannerisms of that Winn Dixie employee. I guess as a manager he didn't care that all of his employees had masks pulled down under their chins! We are all in this together, and we all need to be a little more understanding and patient with each other, let alone take physical effort against another person. Take this as a standing recommendation, Winn Dixie. Needless to say, I went over to Publix next door and completed my grocery shopping with no conflict or threats. read more
