Grimal Grove offers 3 public events a year, in January the Artist and Chocolate Festival and the soirée which is held afterwards and the Fruit Fiesta in June. We were fortunate enough to attend the Fruit Fiesta. This is a free festival filled with activities for the kids, fresh fruit samples and food trucks! Also on hand were local artisans in the area and farmers with fruit for purchase. The park is normally only open for tours on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. There is not a true parking lot, but you can park along the road or over at the vineyard church and walk over.

It was almost like a poached egg. You get your choice of two toppings from several options. The bread comes toasted. It wasn't bad but I didn't think it was anything overly special. The hasbrown was almost baked like a casserole and it was a great accompaniment for the eggs. My friend ordered their mango pancakes and she loved it. My husband also ordered a breakfast with a bit of everything and it had a pancake too. He said it was his favorite thing. It also looks like it was baked in a tin and the turned out. It's super thick and very cake like looking. They both said it was light and delicious. Everyone that got the bacon including myself enjoyed it. When I was trying to pick between the sausage or bacon option the gal taking my order said both were good but that they cut their own bacon so I had to try it. Also, solo stove fire pits or a pop up awning are not allowed presumably because it can get very windy on the water which it eventually did and ended up chasing us out of there a day early. Facilities are available but are dated and in need of a major renovations and NO Wi-Fi ! Also, resort is mostly permanent build outs ( some nice but some fairly shabby like 1970 trailers which have been added on to over the years). And finally , we had enough of the weirdo down the street yelling at everyone he thinks are over the 10 mph speed limit . Needless to say, we will not be back .
