Everything is made in-house, and the custard is the real deal. This isn't the stabilized, heat-resistant soft serve you can walk around with for 20 minutes. This is old-school custard; dense, eggy, and already melting before you've taken your third bite. It forces you to stop, stand there, and actually eat it. As it should. The texture tells you everything. They're running proper equipment and not cutting corners. The swirl holds just long enough, then starts to collapse under its own weight, especially once you start loading it with toppings. The shop itself leans hard into Keys vacation energy; bright colors, clean, a little over the top. Not trying to be minimalist or trendy. Just unapologetically cheerful. And then there's the logo. Let's just say: ice cream piled into an open conch shell is... a choice. One that feels like it's perpetually one comment away from becoming a full-blown Facebook debate. This is a must visit if in or passing thru marathon key. We both had the Italian ice and vanilla custards large $7.49 each. The gentleman behind the counter quickly whipped up our order, one with ornage Italian ice and one with raspberry. They really hit the spot very light and fresh tasting. Will definitely be back again. Great spot for that after dinner treat. FYI they also have many home made ice cream flavors, including key lime pie. Will have to Tru on our next visit. An amazing find in the Keys that's open late! Despite the long line, the kids working behind the counter were hustling with a smile, and we barely waited 5 min. This visit to the keys we went to conch custard several times and I still can't say enough good things about this place. The staff are the friendliest, most welcoming staff I have ever seen - they are definitely doing something right! The ice cream and the Italian ice are delish, this time we really loved the snickers and the pb cup. Most of the time when you get a candy bar ice cream, it's a plain vanilla or chocolate with pieces of the candy bar in it. Both the snickers and Reese's cup embodied the flavor of each throughout the ice cream. This is hands down one of our favorite spots in the keys + the staff keeps us coming back multiple times when we visit! read more

Great little local ice cream shop. Went to a different place and noticed how all their ice creams were artificially flavored and colored (pistachio was bright neon green) so it was great to come here where the ice cream is actually natural and delicious. Got a regular sized in a cup with key lime ice cream and pistachio and both were good but key lime was phenomenal. Creamy and smooth yet still tart and tangy yet also sweet, it was the perfect balance of flavors. It was great and the price was decent, I hope they don't raise their prices. Seems like a nice family owned business. The girl who served us was very friendly and also cute. The older woman at the cash register was also very friendly. Well what an excellent surprise for all of us. For one then this place is really nice and clean. Also the service we received was excellent... both girls were extremely courteous and pleasant. We all ended up opting for the homemade ice cream... the flavors we chose were key lime pie, salted caramel and vanilla. All three of us were really impressed with the quality, texture, flavor and portions of our 12oz cups.
