On the third call, she finally explained that they don't fill this medication for enough patients to keep it available, which was a perfectly reasonable answer and took about ten seconds to give. I have no issue with them not carrying it. Pharmacies can't stock everything. But the 2 hangups didn't seem necessary, a "we can't do that" would have been fine. EDIT: I posted this same review on Google, and this was their response: "Dear Maria, I'm so sorry about those calls. When you called, we truly couldn't hear anything on the line. We said we couldn't hear you and asked you to call back, then hung up. Of course you never heard any of that, so I understand why it looked like we hung up on you. Thank you for understanding about the Tresaderm, and I hope your cat is doing well. Bella" Their response is completely a lie and gaslighting. She completely heard me fine the first time and hung up, refused to answer the call the second time, and then on the third call she said they don't fill it enough to get it. Absolutely crazy response from the company. Not once did she say she couldn't hear me. I did not hang up I called three times. I wasn't going to spread this but I will now tell all my family and friends and followers to avoid this place. My friend was also on the call and was the one who told me to call three times. STAY AWAY.

I've never had an issue with this pharmacy before, but today's experience was unacceptable. I came…read morein with a prescription from my dentist after a painful procedure and had received a text saying my medication would be ready within two hours. Upon arrival, I was told there was an insurance issue. Even when I offered to pay out of pocket, I was refused service because the manager wasn't there, and the staff member stated she "doesn't really work there." I was told to come back in a few days for my medication--but I was in pain and needed it immediately. I repeatedly explained that I was in pain and needed assistance. The employee initially refused to call my insurance, saying they wouldn't pick up their call, and only after I insisted multiple times did she make the call--at which point the issue was resolved immediately, and my medication was approved. As a patient fresh out of a three-hour dental procedure, I should not have had to spend 40 minutes pleading for someone to do their job simply because the manager wasn't present. It's unacceptable that a patient in pain must beg for help or know a manager's schedule in order to get a prescription filled at this location.

Avoid this place if you value your health…read more Used to be a good pharmacy, but incompetent new owner ran it into the ground. Didn't have proper licenses when he bought it, so they were delayed several weeks on ordering any controlled medications. Medications are frequently out of stock with multi-day or even weeks delays. Medications are never filled when received, they wait for you to call or come in. Half the time when you call ahead, they don't fill them until you come to pickup. The pharmacist/owner tried to argue about when a medication was filled, when I literally had the bottle with the fill date right in front of his face. Can't help that level of stupidity. Save yourself the headache of dealing with people who don't care about their work or patients.

*Shame on you for closing down without notifying customers*…read more Last year the Beverly Hills location closed down and Pharmaca merged with Medly. Since then it's been a total shit-show (especially the Brentwood location) but thanks to Natasha, who remembered me from the BH location, she went above & beyond to provide me with excellent customer service at the Santa Monica store. Imagine my surprise when this morning I received an email about a storewide 50% off sale for all products. Then inside the email was small print that they're going out of business. I called the SMO store and every option to speak to someone is redirected to Walgreens. I tried calling the Brentwood & Pacific Palisades store and the same thing happened. I tried calling the Corp office in Colorado and they're not accepting calls - only voice messages. Good luck getting through on the phone to speak to someone at Walgreens. I like to support local business - if I wanted to use Walgreens I'd already be a customer. At least when the BH store closed down we were sent notices. According to an article I just read, Walgreens bought them out for 19.5M and wasted no time trying to convert its new customers. Problem being - Pharmaca/Medly did NOT notify its customers and handled their sale takeover unprofessionally. But I'm not surprised because of how poorly run this company has been for the past year. And I saw the writing on the wall as their shelves have been empty for months and received some feedback from some longtime team members. But was told Pharmaca was taking over Medly. Pharmaca used to be an amazing pharmacy & store that had an excellent stock of high-quality vitamins & supplements and I relied on them & their wonderful team for suggestions & recommendations. I also rely on them for a medication refill. I understand things change and the world isn't the same...but SHAME ON Pharmaca/Medly's Corp management team for leaving your customers hanging without any notice and shutting down more abruptly than 10 year olds closing their lemonade stands on the corners.
