We tried to call the pharmacy and all we got was AI and they would not transfer us to a customer service person. We will no longer use CVS.

this is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I had my doctor send my prescription multiple times over the last few weeks for it to only get lost in limbo with this place. He sends it again, CVS says they have it and are filling it. 3 days later - nothing outstanding. It's just lost in the system. Get it sent again, and you know what the pharmacist does here when they get it? They sent it BACK to my doctor to be authorized haha. My doctor sends it in, and they send it back to authorize. This place is bananas. Save yourself your sanity and go somewhere else; I know we are transferring to Walgreens across the street today. read more

The technician sent me home because they said the prescription was sent back from the insurance. The is didn't make sense but when I went home and discovered I am out of pills I went back (you could not talk to the pharmacy only leave a voicemail). The same technician came to the consult window and tried today tell me the same story. I asked what does this mean, she got frustrated and called another technician. Another technician said that they were back ordered and received ingredients only yesterday. My prescription would be ready in 15minutes. I asked why this technician could not tell me the same. She told me "she just didn't know". Treating customer like that with body language saying "you are idiot" and in the end my persistence paid off. Please use different pharmacy- even driving far worth it. read more

This pharmacy cannot handle filling prescriptions. I had a prescription sent in a week ago. My app confirmed they were out of stock for this medication, and they were ordering it. I stopped into speak with the pharmacy midweek and a woman working said it wasn't in today's delivery but may come tomorrow. It is now a week and still showing out of stock. I have been disconnected three times when trying to call and now have to look for another alternative. I will make sure to pull every prescription from this pharmacy and never visit again. BEWARE this place has no idea what they are doing. read more

Had a prescription sent to them from doctor, I later received a text that the pharmacy was reaching out to my doctor for alternate medication. This in itself is total BS. So I called to tell them not to reach out to my doctor, I would transfer prescription. After going through their automated phone system which takes several minutes, I reached the pharmacy (nobody answered I am just placed on hold). I am on hold for three minutes at which point right at 1:30 the pharmacy picks up the phone and says and I quote "please call back after 2:00 we are all on our lunch from 1:30 to 2:00" and then he hangs up... I was seriously on the phone to address an issue for almost 10 min, and I was hung up on. This is the most unprofessional place of business I have ever had the displeasure to work with. I immediately called another pharmacy and had all my prescriptions transferred. I will never use CVS pharmacy again, nor will the rest of my family. If I had hung up on any of my clients in my previous job, I would have been fired immediately, lunch time or not. read more

Recently I decided to try to switch back to CVS after many years due to new insurance, and Walgreens not working well with said insurer. However, I'd rather pay more out of pocket for a prescription at Walgreens than deal with CVS. This location is horrible. When you try to call into the store there seems to be a 20-30 minute hold time that is a regular occurrence. One day I actually arrived at the store while on hold for over 20 minutes, but stayed on hold as I walked into the store. When arriving at the pharmacy counter I saw numerous workers who were not busy nor helping other customers. They seemed oblivious to the phones that were constantly ringing. Ridiculous. On top of that, the medication that I needed was not in stock which could have been relayed to me over phone. If someone would have simply picked up on the three occasions that I attempted to call then it would have saved my time and a drive. It appears this is an ongoing issue with CVS that is reflected here in other reviews. Steer clear of this location if possible unless you have time on your hands to waste. read more

I usually just go here to pick up my prescription and go. What I've noticed is that the pharmacy staff are always preoccupied but will not leave you waiting too long. The wait seems to be from the amount of customers in line and the customers themselves being slow. I can't speak on the drive thru as I haven't used it. But if you're in a rush to get your prescription, go at a time you think there won't be a lot of customers and you won't be there long at all. read more

Wanda (the pharmacist) was very caring, professional and understanding about my 91 year old Mom needing her medication asap! This meant a lot to me since without her medication; she would have been awake all night. The staff member I don't remember her name) that is a teller, is a very friendly lady and does a good job. We like CVS and have been regulars here for over four years. The pharmacy is excellent. Friendly and helpful. The self-service photo shop is just great. The cashiers have double duty to help people with their photo efforts and my wife has spent many hours receiving their sincere and pleasant help. I don't know the guy's name, but one of the black guys has been truly outstanding. As retired military, our insurance for pharmacy is Tricare. Unfortunately, Tricare changed contractors to Walgreens and we are now getting used to their goods and services. On of the great advantages that CVS has over others is that those of us in Sun City can get there in our golf carts, making it easy to drop by. Now we have to get into the car to drive across Hwy 521 to the Walgreens. If the Tricare contract for pharmacy switches back to CVS, so will we. We still go to CVS for convenience in getting other things, though. read more

Called and put on hold 32 minutes and then disconnected. Called back and hold 28 minutes and disconnected. Call back and gave up after 12 minutes. I was specific in what I wanted transferred and they screwed it up. Told them never to call doctor without calling me first. Nope they did. Did not have a needed medication and two weeks later..da nada and no communication. Pharmacist came out to tell me about a medication and started lecturing on side effects? Really. A conversation is more helpful. I am moving my business.Can I give less than a one star? read more

Great store. I live in waxhaw but go the extra mile to go to indian land they always have a good selection. Best of all they have jasmine!!!! She is awesome she is sweet and very helpful. She definitely makes it feel like I am shopping with my sister daughter or best friend. Thanks jasmine for your kindness!!!! read more

Their pharmacy is terrible! I never get a notification that my prescription is ready but I get a notification that my medication is getting ready sent back because it hasn't been picked up on time??? I call to check status on my meds and I'm on hold for 20 min!! I switched over to another pharmacy, this is ridiculous read more

Very nice staff and store. seems it is "the" place to go for the near by seniors of Carolina Lakes. but I love it has the minute clinic. Fast service and was very satified. if there is a short wait i can walk around and shop, making time go faster. Very clean store and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. i like seeing employees busy when they have no customers to wait on. nothing bothers me more than going into a store (business) and seeing the employees standing around socializing and not acknowleding you are there at all- after all the customers are what the company depends on to pay them. This pharmacy is the slowest place I have been to in a long time. With at least 6 employees in the pharmacy itself today, it still took me over an hour and a half to get my prescription sent over and processed. I asked several times about the status of my prescription and half the time they couldn't find my name in the computer so they sent me to another window. Ridiculous. With all the employees just talking to each other....they didnt even see that the one cashier had a very long line. No one came to help her get the line down....they just kept talking and laughing. Always always always a 30-45 minute phone wait. There is absolutely no reason for that. Even when calling at all different hours of the day. Truly the worst CVS that I've had the misfortune of dealing with. read more

Don't bother. Also pays a problem in pharmacy. Order meds online or touch phone always 20-30 min wait for pick up.

Bad service, low RX stock, routinely have to wait extended periods for RX to be ordered. Last order took over a month to get. It seems that corporate has run off all the good staff, which was the only reason to travel down to this location. read more

CVS's system for redeeming coupons is so un-customer friendly. I get coupons galore but unless I have them in my hand there's no simple way to redeem them. I also lost my CVS card, which they won't replace. They'll issue me a new number but I'll lose all my coupons. Now thinking I should switch my business to Walgreen's or Rite-Aid. Can't imagine that they'd be more customer unfriendly, or are they? read more

Terrible. I never write reviews. I have been waiting in this pharmacy line for about 30 minutes to get my prescription. I have been waiting here so long that I had enough time to download yelp app to complain. Absolutely ridiculous. read more
