She didn't even try, stating that since my insurance was already applied I couldn't use CVS's ExtraCare savings. The website clearly states that ExtraCare savings can be used in addition to your insurance. I'm 7 months pregnant and just trying to save in every area I can. I am extremely frustrated with this CVS location. They are consistently out of my child's ADHD…read moremedication, which is a necessary, ongoing prescription. Because insurance only allows it to be filled a few days early, any delay in restocking means my child is left without essential medication. It is unacceptable that a medication needed every month is not reliably stocked. We are not new customers--this is a constant prescription, yet we frequently hear that it is unavailable and have to wait multiple days for it to come in. This delay has serious consequences, and it should not be this difficult to get a necessary medication on time. CVS needs to do better at managing inventory for essential prescriptions, especially for medications that cannot be filled early. Parents should not have to scramble every month to ensure their child gets the treatment they need.
