Honestly I feel ridiculous writing another review to this CVS when I typically enjoy them-- but this is specifically for the pharmacy this time when I encountered an entire new array of people I had not seen before. I scheduled a vaccine appointment for 11am, and put all my new information in the system prior to the appointment the night before. I woke up to a text and email saying they cancelled my appointment due to insurance. Once I arrived, they told me my insurance did not work, which was a shock to me as I started my new insurance this January. I gave them the same card I put in the system myself, and it went through. Part of me feels like they just didn't run my new insurance prior to the appointment, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt. About 11:30 she asks how soon can I get the shot, and I tell her immediately as I've been waiting. She says great, take a seat and someone will be right there. I sit. And I sit. And I sit. I am sitting at 7 months pregnant, super tired, hungry, and now getting irritable. Finally an hour later she comes and apologizes and gives me the shot. I genuinely think she forgot, as she told me to first sit where I wouldn't be seen by the pharmacy, and then she told me to move again after an hour to where she could see me. Then she gave me the shot. I do want to say, she was apologetic and very polite. But when it comes to my health, it honestly made me SO nervous to get a shot from her. She seemed super overwhelmed and absent minded at the time, and there was only one guest there prior to me. I just got so worried that she didn't give me the right shot, not to mention I got SO sick after this shot and had serious reaction the same night, which I know can be normal, but it freaked me out. It was weird. If I ever get another shot here, I want it to be the same people who gave me the shots in September. As for everyone else in this place, I really do love them, so it saddens me to have a bad experience with this particular pharmacist and day. read more

Sitting here watching the pharmacy tech drop pills on the floor and putting them in the patients prescription bottle.. I'm not sure if they can touch the pills with their hands. I'm only here bc my mom has an appointment for her second shot. Appointment was for 12. She didn't receive her shot until 1230. Poor customer service. We just sat here and no one acknowledge us. read more

We are from out of state and had our prescriptions called in by a local physician as we were traveling when the Covid Pandemic hit. I used the drive through and handed our insurance cards through the window and everything was taken care of. Now, the cool thing is, we're not normally CVS customers, so they didn't have any of our information to start with. read more

I love this CVS!!! The team here feels like family. They are professional and very kind!!!

The personnel are rude and dismissive and seem to have a chip on their shoulder. They act as if they are better then their customers and if you come in a couple hours before they close they can never seem to fill your order even though every other CVS Pharmacy can seem to be able to manage to do just that, fill my order. So these kids need to realize and grow up a little bit because they're not as good as I think they are and they are not very well mannered read more

For the most part, major chain drug stores all seem to blur together. If anything is going to set them apart, it's going to be the customer service. That's the reason for this review. It's hard to pinpoint, but there's something about this pharmacy staff. They just always seem to know me. They always seem to actually care a bit and go the extra mile. It's not like I'm sickly and in there all the time, but for whatever reason, they always seem to act like I'm a friend. If you're trying to decide between all the chain pharmacies... this one gets my vote. read more

It was TERRIBLE! The sign said the Dr. Peppers were on sale 3/$9 and the cashier continuously told me that they were not. The cashier got the manager and the manager said that they were not on sale. I brought the sale sign TO THE MANAGER TO SHOW HER. The manager still told me that the Dr. Peppers were not on sale. I asked her if anything that they did here was honest and she said "the Dr. Peppers are not on sale." read more

Pharmacy is always friendly and efficient. Clerk's are very friendly and helpful with coupons.

CVS TYLER ROAD #4913 Has the BEST employee, KENYON!!!!! She is SO SO Sweet and helpful! ! Was so excited to see her here as I always saw her at another store in Vestavia and went there because of here . She is a HARD worker and every employer needs a "Kenyon" working for them.
