She not only has a variety of pharmaceutical products, but she also carries local items and gifts for purchase in her pharmacy. I would highly recommend dropping your big box pharmacy and go by to see Whitney. Getting set up with her is easy and seamless and you will be glad you did it. To my surprise there was no line, no wait. I was met at the window by a friendly young man. The meds were ready and I was able to continue my errands. Easy peasy, just like I like!

I answered a call from Walgreens today and a recorded message started telling me there was a delay…read morein my prescription.....then it would repeat that ....again....and again.....and again. I called back. I was holding on the phone.....I did this for 40+ minutes and a real live female person answered the phone and said I will be with you in just a minute...after a while....I was disconnected and transferred to no-mans land where no one would answer the phone. I called back and now10 minutes, there are once again 2 customers ahead of me. And the computer lady keeps saying she is sorry to keep me waiting! Actually, if there were a minus.....I would give a minus 100. It is sad. This used to be a vibrant store full of staff who could help you in a reasonable time. The voice mail system is terrible. The store is under staffed. You walk in there and can't find anyone except in the pharmacy. There are still 2 callers ahead of me. Actually, I have been moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy...but I missed this one. I may be holding on this phone until my next birthday ...which is in November!!! and there are still 2 callers ahead of me. It is now 26 minutes holding. And they will be with me shorly. This is not a good experience. Their staff is assisting other customers. Please pick up the phone and don't hang up on me again! There are still 2 callers ahead of me.....at 32 minutes holding. Does anybody at Walgreens care? This is so past bad customer service...I think their customer service folks all ran away. Oh yeah! One caller ahead of me. Lets see if i get disconnected again. The lady on the recorded message now has static in her voice because she has talked so much! And, my phone is running out of juice. 46 minutes on hold now. Now 51 monutes. Wonder if AI would do better? 59 minutes at 7:15 PM. Well....she, the real person, answered and once again asked me to hold on....so here we go.....didn't wait for me to say no.....didn't say please. Now 1 hr +. Oh she came back. FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Over 2+ hours.... Final recorded message....I am sorry. We are having technical issues and are having trouble processing your call. First, with a friendly "Welcome to Walgreens" from Blake, at the register. Secondly, by his cologne that was overpowering the entire front of the store. I love perfume and cologne myself, so I'm not hating on him by any means. But as someone who has a father and stepmother who suffered with COPD for years, I am concerned for the folks with breathing difficulties that may be faced with that very strong scent. Any scent is difficult for them, as they're already struggling to breathe. Lots of employees were stocking the shelves during my visit. Compared to what I've experienced at another local Walgreens, these employees are on top of their work. I found a few things on sale that I hadn't planned on getting. Some of their Halloween and Autumn stuff is super cute, but overpriced in my opinion.

I'm new to the area and learning the highways (as well as adjusting to the traffic! ), but found it easily. I will say, the driveway to pull into the front of the store is narrow and easy to pass. I ended up in the second, larger driveway and had to circle back. The storefront also doesn't look like a typical pharmacy. It looks more like a set of offices. Besides the one row of parking in front of the building, there is also a small deck to park in. (See photo) The store is super organized (which was SO pleasing to this gal!) as well as clean. They had antique items about the store that I loved as well. Like the old horoscope/weight machine! Seeing that really took me back! So much nostalgia. The staff are amazing. Julie helped me at the pick up window. When I asked for a special request, she didn't huff or act annoyed like some will do, but instead said she'd be happy to see what she could do. As I waited, I spoke briefly with a sweet lady off to the side of the pick up window. I didn't catch her name but I believe it might start with a Z? Either way, super nice employees there! I also got to witness how they interacted with a disabled gentleman that came in and needed a bit more time and attention. They gave him the time, kindness, patience and dignity he deserved. I was able to save money by purchasing my medication here. I really appreciated that aspect! I am thoroughly I impressed with this pharmacy! I highly recommend it. I was afraid with it having a 1-800 number that it was some far off pharmacy trying to act like they were local (scan vibes), so I was pleasantly surprised to see they're very legit and also fabulous to boot!
