The usual but staff not as friendly as I would like. The store is bright and clean as most are. Location and parking is very good. Prices ok. Awful pharmacy pick up . Not enough staff to handle volume. Waited 1/2 hour for a simple pick up bother times I came in.

Yea, it's a CVS. Pretty standard.

Waiting at the drive thru the 2 girls are talking by the window they see me and ignore me, I ring…read morethe bell they still continue to talk to each other. They when she finally said can I help you, she tells me how much I put my money on the pull out tray and she leaves it there and continues talking and it is very windy. When I'm done she leaves tray open while I'm trying to pull out and the next car has to pull in. VERY BAD SERVICE! I will drive to Selden instead of coming here .

I came here today for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine…read more Roughly 30 seconds after receiving it, I felt light headed. A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was racing at 160. My blood pressure skyrocketed to 182/111. The young man also gave me a small bottle of water, which did not help. My vitals did not stabilize. He, nor the pharmacist who administered the vaccine were equipped, to help me. They did little for me. The young man said that he has an EpiPen but that my symptoms did not require use of one. Lastly, he did not even given me a glucose tablet when I asked for one. I thought my blood sugar was also low. I thought that I was going to die and called my next of kin. Thank goodness I had my phone with me. Staff called an ambulance, which came in about 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of the store in a stretcher and said that I likely have vasovagal syncope, which is a rare adverse reaction to the vaccination. The MD at LI Community did not formally diagnose me with that. Dr M. merely said that I had a "fast heart rate and racing pulse" in response to the Pfizer vaccine. An RN administered IV fluids and continuously monitored my vitals. Staff also gave me an EKG and withdrew some blood for testing. I spent four hours in the ER before my vitals stabilized. Lesson learned: ONLY GO TO A VACCINATION SITE THAT HAS AN EMS, AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES. Google research indicates that Pharmacy staff is not equipped to handle severe reactions to any vaccine. I should have done my due diligence before I selected Walgreens as my vaccination site. Addendum: The pharmacist, Jenny, did call me the next day to check my status. She also informed me that she will be reporting this incident to VAERS, as required by Federal law.

I'm going to give this a 3 star rating as unfortunately, my experience was pretty similar to my…read morefellow Yelper who've reviewed this location. I've been to many a Walgreens and they are right, this one is perhaps the slowest of all the ones I have been to. To their credit, I only saw one person working at the pharmacy counter but they definitely could have used another. The line was about 8 people long and it was moving at a snails pace. During my highschool days of working at CVS, we would call for backup to open up a second register when the line got beyond 5 people. Now I know that is a different company and I wasn't in the pharmacy department but perhaps they could adopt a similar strategy. I can't complain too much because the item that I needed to purchase was on sale (about $15 normally but on sale for about $10+tax with the Walgreens card). I needed to pick up some Primatene tablets, which I use for my asthma from time to time. It helps break up any congestion I have in my chest and also minimize my wheezing during the winter. I'm not that likes to take medication but this stuff does help me personally. It's interesting that you have to show your ID to purchase it and that they had you the product from behind the counter, but I do understand at the active ingredient Ephedrine has been known to be abused. I believe they record your ID to make sure you're not buying it in unusual amounts, which is fine by me. Aside from the line, the customer service was polite enough and the store was similar to most other walgreens I've entered. Perhaps some better music aside from the elevator music would be nice but hey, what do you expect. (Disclaimer: My opinion and personal experience is not medical advice. I'm not a doctor, not play one on tv, so if you're reading this review, you should probably consult with your physician before considering or starting any new medication)

The recently renovated store is clean and I can always get what I need fairly quickly and…read morepainlessly. I keep meaning to switch my prescriptions over to this store because my experience is always so much better in every other regard than at the local CVS I've used. My family and I have even used this store for vaccinations. When my granddaughter was born, we needed to get the whooping cough vaccine. I got mine at the doctor but for my daughter and husband it was just easier to go to Rite Aid. It was quick and easy. They have a good selection of convenience store items and cosmetics, though the way they lay out the store is a bit odd. I've never been a fan of stores where half the aisles are laid out diagonally. Luckily, I've been in there enough to know where most things are, and they do keep the store nice and clean. I've never come across a rude cashier, and I love that they are part of the Plenti rewards program. It's nice to accumulate discounts on not only drug store stuff, but things like gas as well! Be sure to sign up, it's free! So all-in-all I really like our local Rite Aid and can't say anything negative about it. Thumbs up all around for a nice store with good customer service.

When i called back the same thing happened. I tried over the course of 5 days. I finally pressed 4 while calling stating i was, "calling from a doctors office." just to get in contact with someone. I finally got ahold of someone. She told me she would order my prescription as they did not have it in stock and i could pick it up tomorrow after 3pm. Cool. THEN i go to the pharmacy the next day and THEIR PHONES ARENT EVEN RINGING. THEY'VE TURNED OFF THE RINGERS ON THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!! And they didnt have my prescription. This place is a joke. The pharmacist and 3/4 of the staff in the pharmacy are rude excluding one employee who was actually trying to take care of customers. FYI im trying to refill my birth control. Rite Aid should pay for my child if i get pregnant because their employees failed to do their job.

How is that my wife and I had the exact opposite experience as all these people have had? Well, when the owners of said business decide to sell it two weeks after you enroll your prescriptions. So basically, you can pretty much disregard all of the reviews up until November 2025, as they were posted under Town Pharmacy's previous family-owned front. I don't know who these new guys are, but this place is as hot of a mess as it gets. Nobody currently working here seems to have any idea what they're doing. They consistently get confused. I've called three times asking to have the same two prescriptions refilled and delivered to my home. Each time, nothing was done. In one instance, someone answered and asked me to "Call my doctor to get the ball rolling" while he worked on getting my order. Uhh...isn't that what I just called YOU to do? The venerable icing on the cake was one morning when my wife called to order her insulin. She was told it would be delivered same-day. Gets a callback a little time later: "Sorry, it's too dark out. Someone will come tomorrow." It was 4pm. My wife and I were left speechless. Until, and IF, this place gets its act together, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Already, reluctantly, in the process of moving my scrips to Walgreens.
