I had a very disappointing experience with Gloria at CVS Pharmacy. Her customer service was extremely rude and blunt, and she made me feel completely unwelcome. After this interaction, I decided to move my prescriptions elsewhere. The line at this location is consistently 15-20 people deep, so customers already wait a long time. To finally get to the counter and be treated with such poor attitude is unacceptable. The first thing she said to me was, "Where's your cell phone with the barcode?" in a tone that made it seem like it was my fault it wasn't ready, when in reality my phone was simply in my car. Then regarding my prescription, I had been out of state for the past week and wasn't able to pick it up sooner. She told me she was "surprised it didn't get put back" because I was late picking it up. The way she said it was condescending and unnecessary. There are respectful ways to explain policies to customers this was not one of them. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially after waiting in such a long line. The CVS Pharmacy on Boulder is one of my favorite locations because it's huge and incredibly well stocked. I can usually find exactly what I need without having to hunt around or visit multiple aisles pretending I'm browsing. There always seem to be plenty of employees around, and they're genuinely willing to help if you need it, which feels increasingly rare. I also appreciate how easy it is to pop in, grab what I need, and get back on my way without turning it into a whole production. It's efficient in the best way and makes routine errands feel surprisingly painless. read more

The manager said no it was not there. I'm consistently faced with poor attitudes when I go to this location and also have see elderly individuals treated with very little respect, especially by Kelly. During my last visit, Kelly refused to help an elderly couple who were trying to self checkout. Also, this stores basically empty alll the time and never have anything you need. This is unbelievable. If you use the pharmacy (which I have) for 5 years, the service is atrocious. Yes, why do I keep going back? They don't order any brands for at least a delay of one week. They cause me so much trauma, that now every time I need to pick up a prescription , it triggers my PTSD. The quality of service is so bad this lack of customer service shows through all the Company's pharmacies, including headquarters, they will not even answer the phone. I've scheduled 4 vaccines online over the last 2 months and had to wait over 30 minutes each time. Why take appointments? There's also an area of the counter indicating VACCINE CHECK-IN, but both times I started there I was completely ignored until I went to stand in the regular line BEHIND 5 other people who arrived after me. Today I arrived on time (again) and same thing. When I finally go to the counter I was told that the pharmacist was at lunch and I'd have to wait another 10-15 minutes (it was over 30 minutes total). There's one man running the whole floor! The line is backed up machines are failing him and people are complaining, not realizing that it's out of his control. Was running a little late, but there was no line. Lovely lady gave me my second vaccine shot. She was the same one who gave me the first vaccine shot. Just waiting my 15 minutes to make sure that I don't have any adverse reaction. Love the process here. If you haven't signed up to get your COVID, do that today. After searching the pharmacy area for take home COVID tests, asked an employee where they were. He told me that they were behind the front registers. The front register employee told me that I could not get them at the front register since I wanted to use my insurance. She directed me to the pharmacy line since they were behind the pharmacy counter for those using insurance. The pharmacy employee told me they no longer bill insurance for COVID self tests even though today is the last day insurance companies are required to pay for them. Went to Walgreens across the street and got them billed to my insurance without any problem. read more

Also you have to wait in one line to drop off and then if you have to pick up or just check on something you have to wait again in the other line. Why can't they help you with both?? I had just left urgent care, and really needed my prescription filled. I walked up to the prescription counter at 8:58 pm, but the clerk said that the pharmacy had already turned off the computers! Apparently, they close at 9:00 pm. So, I asked her, "So, you close before you close?!" I was so mad. Then, I alerted the manager, who so cavalierly said, "Oh. They shut down the computer?" There are so many negative things to say about this pharmacy. The staff are rude and could care less about you. Leyla, the pharmacy manager, is horrible. She is very condescending and refuses to assist her staff help patients. For example, there were 5 people waiting in line to pick up their medications with only one person working the registers. Meanwhile, she is text messaging on her phone not acknowledging the line that continues to grow. In addition, she belittles her staff by getting inches in their face, screaming at them in front of the customers and other staff, telling the staff member that they are taking too long when she is more than able to assist the others who are waiting. I've witnessed this on a few occasions. I've seen her glare at some of the people waiting in line from behind a wall in the back of the pharmacy that obscures her from their view. I was appalled by her lack of professionalism in the work place. It's no wonder her staff have bad attitudes. Based on what I saw from her interactions with others, she has this "I'm better than you" attitude and it's very distasteful. The other reviews about poor customer service skills at this pharmacy are valid. Try going to a different pharmacy if you can. Leyla is by far the worst pharmacist I've ever met in my lifetime. I'm surprised no one else has commented or complained about her specifically. The Board of Pharmacy should consider revoking her license because she putting everyone's health at risk with her behavior. read more
