We stop here for gas and to use the restroom every time we go to and from big bear, which is often. They have a good snack and drink selection and the store and bathrooms are always clean. I usually wouldn't bother writing a review for a gas station but tonight I went in when Wellington was working and I had to leave a note because he is awesome! So friendly, helpful and just kind. They should not be allowed to take their lunch till after 7 o'clock. After is no longer available to play the lottery. I came here at 6:55 which is very close but they're closed and now I can't find my lottery ticket so no I do not refer this place as a good location. I decided to patronize this business in East Highland to get my car washed, and I must declare this place got to be the slowest service ever! On top of the long wait, the manager Jake proceeded to put several cars before me who came after me! Be advised this happened to me multiple times at this location. Some kind of territory dispute. Being approached right up to my car window being asked for change. I've given this place soooo many chances cause it's close to home. All I can say is whatever happened to customer service ... gas stations used to be the epitome of service..who ever the the daytime female manager who was working February 3rd at 10 a.m. most definitely should not be working with the public she is rude and condescending and ridiculous after spending a lot of money filling up my suburban with gas I went to get some water so I grabbed a smart water from a row that is clearly marked buy one get one for a dollar when I go up to the counter I do not get to sell price..... When I brought this up the manager told me the one I grabbed the one that is clearly marked buy one get one for a dollar mind you is not the one that is on sale it's the other one that is on the other side of the refrigerator nowhere near the sign nowhere near the actual rack that is marked by one get one for a dollar I simply say okay I will give these back and buy the ones that are on sale she says no can do no returns!!!! I never left the store I never even picked the water up from the counter after purchasing them I wasn't asking for my money back all I wanted was the ones for the sale price... Do not buy chains from here! Go to the walmart across the street. I made the mistake of buying chains here before heading up the mountain. When I got to the point where I had to put the chains on, I realized that they were too small for my tires! But when I drove BACK DOWN the mountain to exchange them they wouldn't let me, even though they messed up and gave me the wrong size! We even double checked the paper with my writing on it that said my exact tire size. And they were sooo rude about it! 85 bucks down the drain! I went to walmart and got the chains i needed for 35 bucks. I used to stop at this place every time I drove up to big bear, but never again! read more

This place is always at least 20 cents per gallon higher than anywhere else. I haven't been to this place in years. I'm amazed when I drive by that I see so many people in there buying gas. Wake up people there's cheaper gas a few blocks away. read more
