Don't waste money on the car wash! It is NOT in working condition. It left my car wet dirty and had to go elsewhere to try and fix the watermarks. I went in the store explaining the problem to tell others it is broken. The women yelled at me stating I'm not giving you your money back. Getting there: This Chevron is located right off of the main road so it's easily accessible from the freeway. It's not a very spacious for parking so if it's crowded it could be hard to find a waiting spot. Experience: It's a very clean gas station. I love the convenience of the location. CONSUMER ALERT: Over-Charging. I bought a drink that was marked $1.78. I was charged at the register $2.29. I informed the young clerk that the price is marked lower at the refrigerator case. He walked over and verified that. I was waiting for my refund of the difference when he and a co-worker wearing a big gold chain told me they were not going to refund me anything and to get out of line. I lectured them about "honor" but they could care less. Fifty cents is nothing...but honor is everything. I hope they read this and do the right thing next time. Slowest pumps I've ever encountered. I finally timed it...56 seconds for 1 gallon. Filled my truck up with 18 gallons. Took 17 minutes. It's not just one certain pump, it's all of them. No, no, no... Rude! What kind of business closes their bathroom for cleaning at rush-hour (on a holiday weekend) and then won't let a desperate preschooler go to the bathroom? The doors were locked, with a chain across the door, and nobody actually cleaning. It seems painfully apparent they just don't want heavy traffic flow on their bathroom, especially since there are many slower times in the day to clean up. Not very good customer service. I'll never stop here again... Especially since they don't care about the kids. They sent us to Del Taco, btw. Recently a pump would not authorize, went inside, clerk (nice guy) could not authorize, asked me to move my big truck to other pump. Not an issue, except he said, this happens frequently to this pump. Uh... why not get it fixed, and/or put an out of order sign on it? Problem is, station is very easy access from my neighborhood, too far to go out if the way to the highland ave chevron station. Guess I'll just have to settle for mediocrity. Pump islands are dirty. This is my go to gas station in Highland. It's clean, they have a very wide selection of items, a car wash, and great staff. I met the owner the other day, really friendly guy. One of their employees, Isabel, is a real sweetheart. Her great attitude always keeps me coming back. For people who complain about gas prices, remember, they change every day... so it's not that this place is more expensive than the stations around it. And more than that, you get what you pay for. Gas prices do not change every day as one poster stated. They definitely have the highest prices in the area. Even adding the illegal credit card charge that the nearby Valero charges, this Chevron is at least two cents higher. They are about 40 to 60 cents higher than Costco. By the way, Costco, Valero, and Chevron are all top tier gas along with Arco. Costco is at least equal in quality as Chevron. Not sure about Valero or Arco. read more

You think being a new place the computers will work; sadly that is not the case. Sometimes they ask for your zip code for security; but what angers me is that I had to put in the information three [3] separate times. WTH! You think they will have up-to-date electronics that will instantly read your CC/ debit info. For a new place their computers are unnecessarily slow. This is probably the worst Chevron station for service I have ever experienced. Everything is broken. Last week I stoped to buy propane and was told that the propane dispenser was broken. Today I went to buy gas and ALL the pumps were down. Asked the idiots inside why they didn't put up signs to let their customers know they were broken and got a blank stare response. Unreliable pumps and horrible customer service. Stopped in after work and 1st pump took credit card and machine indicated it was ready to pump. After about 10 cents on the ticker the pump stopped and would not come back on. Asked an employee who was outside for help and she indicated I needed to go inside and ask the clerk at the counter. Tried another pump and same thing. Took my credit card but no gas would come out. Went inside and alerted the clerk and she could be less interested. Said she heard an "alarm" go off in the back apparently altering her of an issue but could not reach the manager for support. After no resolution with that one, I tried a third pump. It was down. Left and went to a Valero down the street. Checked my credit card account and I was charged the initial $1. Will have to call my CC company tomorrow to have that removed. read more
