Super speedy pharmacy. Nice arranged and uncrowded store. Bathroom could use some attention though. However, easy to park at this shopping center. Way, way better than the location of CVS stores in Reston. Also, a nice Starbucks is close by. Oh and I was happy to find an item that I often cannot find on the shelves at many pharmacies. read more

I seriously don't get it! I had bunch of coupons that could be used on my purchase and they won't even bother to apply them. The cashier told me she can't apply my extra bucks reward! Alright if you don't know how to apply can you get help? I mean the people working here want to work but don't bother to seek assistance if they are having troubling checking out a customer. I don't even care the store is large or have enough products anymore. I can't understand how can you not apply coupons that are not expired ? Please seriously get your customer service standards higher. If you need assistance don't be afraid to ask ( cashiers ) are you hearing me? Don't bother going to CVS if you are a diabetic and need alcohol w i p e s for your finger sticks. When you ask the pharmacist they just direct you to aisle 12 and there are none. the pharmacist is rude and surly. I'm not going back, ever. It's always a crapshoot going there anyway. read more

Everyone at this CVS Pharmacy is really nice. I think it all depends on you as well, "if you give respect, you get respect." The pharmacist Seyed is very nice and they are always busy so sometimes they may not hear you but they try their best to assist every customer. I have not had any problems with workers here. The DMV area is busy and will only get busier so expect long lines and learn how to be patient. I go in to get what i need and come out, i am not here to judge these folks, they are trying their best! read more

Worse CVS pharmacy department it has went down hill over the last year. Today I was told the wait would be 15 to 20 mins for meds for a number of infections for myself and daughter went back up in that 20min time frame and was told it would be an extra 30mins. No one called my name over the loud speakers, I just so happened to go back up there and they were ready. Long behold they didn't give my daughter prescription. Was told when I went back up to get her meds that were paid for to get and line. I've already have been waiting 40 to 45mins. The one technicians has messed up on med doses which has caused the insurance to decline it. They expect you to do your own pre authorization on meds. This pharmacy is the absolute worse I've seen. The staff is not friendly with their most of the time sick or hurting customers. They have no one one with their customers and also they have had more than one of my meds interact. I've had much better luck at other pharmacies and CVS locations; this one was very unimpressive in terms of pharmacies go. They need to have more staff working or people who are a little more competent and faster at dealing with large amounts of people picking up prescriptions. read more

DO . NOT . come here and waste your time at this Pharmacy! I am done for sure and will not be coming to this CVS again, ever again! Gave it a try for a few times after we moved to Herndon, but they are horrible!!! . The MANAGEMENT is more than TERRIBLE!! Never do they hire enough people for the Pharmacy. Literally NEVER! This place is like a camel market in egypt or something. So DISORGANIZED, UNTRAINED and understaffed. You will be told that pick up is ready in 30 minute. I always give them an hour since I live next door and already know that it will probably take them longer. They have my phone number but never call or text when pick-up is ready. Every single time I went back, I had to stand in line for at least 30 minutes (regardless the time of the day), to then be told that my pick-up is still NOT READY. Then I have to wait again inside the store. Here's my biggest story about them: I have a medical condition and need to take anti-seizure medication. One Friday afternoon I ran out of meds when I thought I still had a bottle t home. But I didn't and my doctor was not available that Friday. I called this CVS and kindly asked them to call my doctor (my old CVS in Greenbriar was always reliable in emergencies). They said they would fax him and I should come within an hour. I went two hours later and nada - They said the doctor had not responded yet, but didn't give me any of the meds to get through the weekend (my doctor gave me an appointment for the following Monday). I started to get dizzy and had brain seizures. I went there again the next day to find out that luckily my doctor did approve of the refill, but they did not even have the decency to give me a call to let me know that the doctor had approved it and NO prescription was filled yet!!!!! They said "Give us 30 minutes." I went home since I could barely stand up anymore due to the brain seizures but came back an hour later - NOTHING was filled up and that time even that for once, there were few people in the store. I had to wait again (!!) Of course the staff apologized and thanked me for waiting and I said "I didn't have any other choice, did I?". Yes, they always apologize, but never improve or change to the better. Therefore I do not believe that the management or staff cares at all. Not even a tiny bit. After that experience I have come to despise this place with all my heart. I'd love to give them -10 stars if I could. I had never been left alone by any Pharmacy in an emergency as they do it. It's not enough that this store is in a shabby location and is very messy - in addition they Service is terrible! They are always (take my word) understaffed AND the Pharmacy staff is extremely untrained. WHO owns this place???????? I usually prefer CVS over all the other pharmacies and used to be a customer at the CVS at Green Briar in Centreville. But again, since we moved, I had to find a new CVS and chose this one. So overall this CVS is the worst one I've ever experienced. I will go to Herndon's Pharmacy around the corner from now on - they do even home delivery I think (which would have saved me so much pain and trouble in my emergency). I'll see how that goes. DO NOT drop off your prescription here and stay away. You will save yourself a lot of pain when you run into an emergency situation. read more

This is the absolute worst CVS. It's messy and disorganized, and not a single staff member seems to notice or care. The pharmacy is either understaffed or overwhelmed, but it's impossible to get through on the phone without waiting 10-15 minutes, and they regularly fail to open on-time (They are supposed to open at 9. Not roll in at 9:01, spend 5 minutes booting the computer, wait three minutes for the cash register to be brought back, and then finally serve you at 9:07). read more

Horrible service here, sayed the guy at the pharmacy counter is completely ignorant and rude. He did not help me and he did not care. I call them all the time to fill a prescription ahead of time but nobody answers the phone. I called once for half n hour and no surprise no answer. Even though at times the line is long, I'm not bothered by it because I understand how busy it gets for everyone. I think the staff is professional and knowledgeable when explaining any questions I may have. Don't print photos here if you want them in less than a week. The website said that it would take 1 hour (or less!) for photos. I went to the store 90 minutes after I sent my TWO photos from online to be printed. (On Sunday at 4 p.m.) I went and asked the people behind the counter if my photos were available (around 5:30 p.m.) and no one has any idea what they were doing. Since my photos we not ready yet, I asked if they could give me an estimated amount of time as to when they would be ready. I was told, "I don't know. Maybe an hour?" I received an email on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. telling me my order has processed. That's almost 5 business days. I tried to find a way to cancel the order online so I could print them somewhere else and had no such luck. read more

It is a nice little CVS. I have had a excellent t customer service. I went there to print some pictures and the machines are better than others I have seen in the DC /Virginia area. This store reminds me of the CVS back in my hometown, Newport Beach. read more

Worst CVS pharmacy experience ever! I literally called the CVS pharmacy 4 times today averaging 12 minutes of hold time and still couldn't reach a live staff from the pharmacy department. Then I decided to drive there and see what's the hold up while still on hold for the fourth time of 20 minutes and at the same time I waited in line for 15 minutes just to see if anyone would pick up, when it was finally my turn at the drop off station, I asked the lady "Do you not pick up calls that come through the pharmacy?" and she answered "yes we do" and I said apparently not, this is my fourth time calling and I'm still on hold for 20 minutes already and showed her the call, and she was like we're pretty busy, so I was like so you don't bother to pick up any calls when you're "busy", she said yes we don't. So I had it at that point, I just continue with checking in for my prescription and to find out they don't even have it there. It was just a complete waste of time, if they would have just picked up the phone, all of this could have been avoided. There should be some organization and supervision in place so things can flow more efficiently. read more

Minute Clinic was a complete waste of time. I signed in a 2:16PM, sat down & waited for the "doctor" to finish her current patient. She comes out at 2:53PM and tells me that she has to go to lunch and cannot see me. I asked her why she didn't tell me this before I sat and waited for 40+ minutes and she said she did. I did not go to CVS for a hearing exam and have fully functioning ears (thank God). She refused to see me so I had her delete me from the sign-in system and left. I told her to enjoy her lunch as I left. Complete waste of my time in the middle of a work day. I will NEVER be back to this store. Morons! read more

Had the worst pharmacy experience of my life! Was sent here because my local CVS only had part of the Rx that I needed. Said the Clocktower CVS would fill the rest of the order. The Indian woman pharmacist (?) behind the counter was HORRIBLE! Accused me of trying to bilk CVS of pills, threatened to call the police, and in the most nasty way gathered all the customers around the pharmacy to join in her criticism. It was the single most unprofessional act I have ever witnessed! I asked her to call the other CVS pharmacy, but she was too busy screaming at me to do so. This person had to be mentally unbalanced, on drugs, or something - she was seriously unstable and should not have been allowed to dispense medicines! This store is filthy and has lots of creeps hanging around outside. There aren't enough cashiers leading to very long lines. The pharmacists are rude and unhelpful and the staff at Minute Clinic displays absolutely appalling behavior for being healthcare providers. The entire point of these clinics is to participate in the market for low level care. If they wish to be at all competitive with the many other options for such care, customer service must be a priority. Overall, a huge disappointment and I am through with the chain after a very negative experience. read more

What a shock that this store has a horrible rating - NOT! So I turn up sick and this places pharmacy is open till 9pm - win right well sort of. Pharmacist was an Indian lady (for reference), didn't catch her name, but found her far too busy to assist me on my first visit 4 days ago. I told her a doctor had just sent in a prescription for me and she didn't even look up from her computer but said I've got nothing and we're closing soon. I believe she suggested I go have a seat. I asked her where two other over the counter meds were to which she responded check isle 9. As I headed away, toward isle 9, she says "oh I see a prescription for you now." I left feeling lucky the prescription came in and got the other things I needed and left. I return today, for more Mucinex which due to restrictions required an ID. I picked the little card up that was the strongest which was also on sale. Took it up to the pharmacy and guess who's there again - Miss I'm too busy. Apparently, I didn't realize I needed a CVS card to get the $8 dollars off and that to get said card I have to fill out paperwork that makes some home refis I've done seem not only faster but easier too. Well, here I am a bother again, she cant find a new card, calls over another pharmacist (Asian lady - much nicer too) to help her find said new card. She doesn't give me the paperwork, scans the card and says the system says its not on sale. Now, I am sick, my patience is already wearing thin so I ask her would she like to join me on isle 9 to see that it is in fact on sale. She then realizes that she already hit total and that is why the discount is not coming off (System issue). Voids the transaction, takes and scans my ID again (thanks to all the at home meth cooks for making this far more difficult than it need be.) She gets to trying to scan the new CVS card and says new card not activated etc. Essentially, this means, I cant get the sales price without going through more CVS B.S. She looks at me as if I am supposed to know what to do which I guess was he feeble attempt at being further useless. I think she knew what to do but didn't want to deal with so I gave in. I took my other item with me and put it back on the shelf and left however not before running into the manager at the front register. I told him of the experience and he seemed equally as useless and clueless. Learned a valuable lesson today - never shop at CVS. So I Went to Walgreens a mile away got the same meds with out the B.S. card or filling out an essay on why I would like a CVS card. The pharmacists there were helpful and not useless or lazy. Guess what - that Walgreens pharmacy is open even later than the CVS. In case CVS Corporate or Management reads this, have a store card for use to customers who don't want to fill out your B.S. application. I rarely need a drugstore so why do I need your card? Why would I subject myself to your excessive application for a card if I will probably rarely ever use it. Make it FAST. Make it EASY. Keep a customer and stay off social media blast. Horrible! The woman in the minute clinic was wonderful. However, the pharmacy itself is a totally different story! Completely disfunctional, and took forever. I never write reviews, but after what happened to me today at this CVS Pharmacy, I feel people need to know. I got there to pick up a prescription my Dermatologist sent there this afternoon. The staff person that was at the pick up line told me after searching my name that I had no prescriptions there, he did not try to look in their system to see if they had the prescription. After that, I decided to call my Dermatologist, to make sure that the prescription was sent to the right pharmacy (which it was). I came back to the same staff person and explained to him that the prescription should be there and if he could please look it up; with an "awesome" attitude he told another staff member to look it up, because he was busy. The female staff member did it, and guess what, the prescription was there the entire time. She said it would take about 20 minutes. I sat down and waited about 30-45 minutes until the pharmacist, rudest person I have met in my life so far, called me and told me that they did not have the drugs I needed and that I should call other pharmacies because that specific drug has been backordered for months. I cannot understand why they let me sit there for almost an hour if they knew they did not have it? On top of that I asked the pharmacist a question regarding some vitamins (I am allergic to some ingredients) and what should be a good substitute for it, he looked at me and told me that he had no idea and that I should read the ingredients... what type of pharmacyst do CVS hire? I have never been treated so poorly at any place. CVS needs to reevaluate the staff members of the pharmcy, because they have no idea how to treat costumers. Please stay away from this place, give your bussiness and put your health in hands of people who at least care and treat you with respect! read more

The worst. Impolite pharmacists. I never had a smile or any help from anyone. They take forever and do not care if you are ill. I waited a long time and I just had been in the hospital and the pharmacist was not pleasant nor understanding. I would go somewhere else. Find a quality pharmacist who will truly help you. I came in to the this location's minute clinic. The RN asked me if I would like to pick up my prescription at this store. Generally, I don't come here but for the sake of convenience, I agreed that I'd pick it up here. By the time I was done with the medical exam at he minute clinic, the RN said that hopefully your prescription wild be ready by now for pick up. There are four personnel at the pharmacy staff but very slow pace of getting turns by customers at the prescription pick up line. Waited in queue of about 7 customers ahead of me. When got my turn, was told that it's not ready yet and you'd have to wait for another 15 mins. I had already waited for close to 20 mins and waited another 45mins still with no update. I will never ever come here again for prescription medicines with such senseless customer service that no one even cares if a customer is waiting for a prescription pick up. Seems like my last option I am going to exercise is to get back in the queue out of no other choice and see if they have it ready for me. Otherwise, just going to have it transferred to my regular pharmacy where I feel treated like a prince in comparison to here. read more
