This CVS is by far the best. The main reason is the staff. The supervisor/manager Lisa is ALWAYS friendly and more than happy to help. She literally goes out of her way for all her customers, which is why I go out of my way to go to this store... even tho we moved closer to a different one. Cvs is lucky to have her aboard! If I could give zero stars I would. CVS keeps texting me I have no refills. When I called the doctor, they maintain they sent 6 months to CVS. If you call CVS, expect to be on hold for 20 minutes. If your are lucky enough to get through, expect to listen to a chirpy teenager, not a professional. read more

It's a Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM. I go in asking for a Covid booster and a flu vaccination. The pharmacy has no patience. All of the workers are standing around barely doing anything. I need to make an appointment they say. I thought that vaccinations and Covid vaccinations are important? Not for CVS at this location. Lazy and unhelpful. read more

Went to pick up my prescription last time, and they gave me the wrong amount... They gave me half the amount of what I normally get. I thought this was weird when I got home so I looked at the paper and sure enough I was supposed to have the full amount, they only gave me half, and they charged me the full price. Pretty careless if you ask me. Hey CVS, can't you be sued for that type of mistake? Just sayin. #luckyitsonlyforacne read more

This pharmacy is very inefficient. They are either understaffed or staff just doesn't care. Specific mention of Amelia. We were there first in line before my wife's 9:30 covid test appointment. She acknowledged our presence took both our appointment details and then did not come back until 9:45. Since CVS only makes individual appointments, my appointment was at 10:10. Even if she was late for my wife's appointment she refused to service me since she said there are other appointments. This was around 9:55. She asked me to go back in line behind 2 other cars. She said it should be quick since I was already checked in. Long story short my 10:10 appointment got fulfilled at 11:05. I was not checked-in as Amelia claimed and it was not quick. Amelia lied to me. Manager was no help either. Their operational procedures and staff competency should be reviewed. read more

My wife and I live super close to this CVS but it has to be the slowest CVS of any I've ever been in. I now literally drive 5-7 miles farther to 350 W Lake Mead Target / CVS to get prescriptions filled etc. 9-10 times we call we are on hold for no less than 15-20 minutes. Then when they say it's ready to pick up and drive over there they say we're just now filling it, another wait. I Pharmacist with a beard is awesome but overworked. Staffing or process order here is its biggest downfall. It's a VERY busy CVS which may be a cause. They either need more help, or they need to help better-streamlining orders, etc. Never on time, always a wait once there, and tons of time waiting to talk to someone. read more

Walk into this CVS Darcy store manager is AMAZING! Helpful, greets you when you walk in, super kind- yet not annoyingly kind, PRESENT! Rare in LV to receive such grand costumer service! So happy and thankful! read more

This pharmacy is terrible with due dates. We have a bunch of prescriptions that fill every month and they are never ready on time. In fact, they are often not ready when we show up four or five days past the refill date and we still have to wait in the store for 45 minutes for them to be ready. Often the wrong count is in the bottle... 34 instead of 30 or 28 instead of 30. It's ridiculous. They are so busy and unorganized that it's amazing people actually get the correct items at all. read more

Ended up leaving my stuff on the check out counter and walking out because The cashier was too busy chit chatting and " checking on what was on her nose", to acknowledge my presence even though I was standing 4 feet from her. read more

Management needs to do a full assessment And assist this staff 1. Staff needs education on insurance billing, especially how to bill Medicare for part A and for part B items that are sold in this store 2. Main pharmacist very knowledgeable but he is one one person the second pharmacist appears to be recently out of school and needs education and training regarding Medicare, private insurances and the ever increasing discount savings cards 2. Needs increase staffing, staff is very understaffed 3. Increased duties, administering vaccines, administering Covid tests, constant phone calls, patient education and counseling can not be done properly with the same staffing levels from years ago 4. Drive thru is not functional- one lane is drop off only. The other Lane is Covid testing, Prescription drop off and pick up and paying plus is slowed down with the enormous amt of questions that need to be answered. 5. Staff are overwhelmed and it shows. One clerk told the man I front of me that he is welcomed to go to another pharmacy, she was very short with me when there was an issue with my prescription My personal experience my insulin pen was filled with incorrect needles, I had to bring them back and get correct needles and a refund. Then I was charged for an item that they said was rejected by insurance when it was never submitted incorrectly. read more

This store is located right by my home and gym so it is my go to place for my prescriptions and emergency essentials. Everyone in the store is always friendly and greets you when you enter the store. Kaitlyn and Lauren in the pharmacy are always professional and helpful. My only complaint is of Jo who assisted me at the pharmacy counter in January. Her comments conveyed a lot and I was pretty embarrassed and upset in front of a line of other customers. Overall I have received consistent good customer service at CVS notwithstanding my interaction with Jo. read more

HORRIBLE! Got to drive thru at 3:55 for 4:00 appointment. At 4:09 was asked for my insurance card. 4:14 they passed the Covid kit with No instructions but just swab both nostrils. I tried to close the top but the swab stick was to long, so i tried to insert it but it wouldn't close. Then the pharmacist comes to the window and tells me I have to break the stick to make it fit. I'm sure it got contaminated trying to firgure out how to close it. HORRIBLE! read more

the small number of times that I HAVE actually done pharmacy business at this location, they only managed to be my "hero" ONCE; by far has got to be the worst CVS pharmacy that I have ever visited; completely piss poor attitudes and "customer service", which is a total joke; after having visited my "normal" location, came back to this location to give them the chance to "rock" again, BUT, only managed to fall flat on their faces giving the runaround about my prescription even after I HAD been there before . . . even though this location at Wigwam is the closest to my home, I will NEVER set foot in this store again . . . the "best part" being that other locations know that this particular store sucks in their pharmacy . . . thus giving NO STARS (IF THAT WAS EVEN POSSIBLE) for a recommendation . . . read more

CVS received such a low rating. I just was there getting and medicine and they where busy. But i always get "(GOOD)" service. there is no long lines for a long prior time. The customer service is the best. Meet you with a smile and ready to help. Staff is happy and they work as a unit and they love their job. This is one of the reasons that makes staff do Great job. There are two pharmacies JOE AND DANNY (sorry no last name) when you receive your med, and it's the first time using it they will take the time and go over it with you and answer all your question (that's what Danny did for me today). The most important about these two Pharmacies is they love working there, a lady ask i cannot remember which one what she could give baby, they took time to help her. THESE PEOPLE THAT GAVE A BAD REVIEW, "HAD A BAD DAY" Go to CVS so you can see for your self. I do not give anyone 5 stars, they must earn it. I've done business there. Over look any mistakes i am not well. Peggy read more

Joe and his staff have the worst customer service.,Joe lies for his staff that can't read RX directions or changes. I wouldn't recommend filling a RX for my worst enemy at this location. My doctor sent in a prescription at 7:00 am. When I didn't hear from the pharmacy by 1:00 pm, I called. I navigated the automated system and got to speak with someone purely by accident. I was told that they would have my prescription ready at 2:00 pm. Assuming they were busy, I arrived at 3:15 pm. The prescription was still not ready, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I understand being busy and being backed up with orders. Customers should be given realistic estimates for pickup, not just one that sounds good but still inconveniences the customer. read more

Phone this pharmacy for RX questions and give up after 30 pminutes not answered. Tell me RX will be ready at 6pm but it's not even ready the next day!! even though I verified that they had the medication in stock. This has happened a number of times on common often prescribed medications. The "be ready time" quoted is often off by hours. Multiple unsuccessful trips to and from the pharmacy should not be necessary. On occasion they have even not run my RX through my insurance, requesting otc price. Just poor follow through and attention to detail AND inaccurate information. I'm a 3 year customer but may transfer RX's across the street to Vons. Have used Vons a few times when CVS did not have meds in stock but Vons did. read more

Not sure why I keep going back other than it is close to my house. Throughout the years have had many bad experiences with CVS. Today needed to pick up a prescription. Got the text on my phone and went to pick it up but they didn't have it and had to go to another CVS a few miles away. Went on their website and also called to make sure of the hours and if my prescription was ready. Recording said it would be ready at 8:27pm, recording said store closes at 7pm and website says it closes at 8pm. Called the pharmacy close to my home and the live person says they close at 9pm. Just go drive to the store because I needed the prescription and it was there and I was there before 7 to make sure. The girl behind they counter said they close at 7pm. I have had numerous other problems with the CVS near my home (Pecos and Wigman). Already switched my husbands prescriptions to Walgreens. Now time to switch mine over. read more

To who it may concern I am writing in regards to a negative experience that I had with the CVS employee today October 6, 2015 8:30 AM. On October 4, 2015 I called CVS pharmacy to request a refill on promethazine cough syrup. I was prescribed this by my doctor. The CVS employee let me know that she would send the request right over to my doctor. She was very friendly and fast and clear with her communication. (I have been coming to this CVS for over ten years, I recognize her face and voice, just forgot the name) [Her name is Kaitlyn] On October 5, 2015 I received a phone call during my usual work hours by the same employee that I had called in the refill request to. She let me know that the refill request has been approved but it was too soon to pick up the refill because it is a controlled substance. She said that I could call as early as they open the next day, October 6, 2015 to request for the refill to be filled. She also told me that they could not schedule it to be filled for the same reason and then I would have to call. Once again she was fast friendly and clear with her communication. Today as soon as I woke up I called. An employee answered the phone and I gave him my information. After verifying my information I told him that I was calling to have my promethazine cough syrup refill. I told him that an employee had called me the day before to tell me that I would be able to call to have it refilled this morning. He told me that it was too soon to fill the prescription and then I would have to wait until the 7th. I asked him why and employee would call me and tell me that I would be able to fill it today if that wasn't true. I explained again that it was last night that I received the call and that I think the employees name is Amanda. He said there's no one that works here by the name of Amanda. I then explained again that I received the call last night and why would the call me? After giving me a hard time when he know that I'm sick (I'm calling for cough syrup, currently in pain from sinus infection. He then said oh I see here in the notes that you can have it filled today. He said you're not supposed to be able to have this so soon but I am able to fill it. [in my head I'm screaming and crying why would you call me and tell me it was] I said OK please fill it. When can I get my prescription he said when would you like it? I told him I could be on my way now. He said it would be ready when I get here. I called at 8:30 and its 9:30am and I've been sitting here 20 minutes. Vincent is who I spoke to Today. I got to see him and see him in action. He did not speak loud enough for me to hear him on the phone almost the entire conversation. Vincent did not sound like he was happy to be at work today. He did not sound like somebody who I want answering the phone when my sick mother calls. This is the person who made me feel bad about myself by telling me I shouldn't be taking the prescription because it is too soon. I thought that this was something only a doctor or pharmacist could tell me. [why can I fill it if it is too soon?] While sitting in the waiting room, a woman called upset because of an issue with her prescription Lisinopril. She was on the phone with the pharmacist Daniel Chasin, I could hear his entire end of the conversation with this woman. When he put down the phone he said SUE ME, ILL SUE YOU. Vincent and Daniel joked about the customer and her feelings right in front of me. My question for CVS is... When you have patients that have an established relationship with your pharmacy who need their controlled substances filled, do you call them and tell them that their prescription is ready only to tell them that it's not? As a person working in the mental health field I do not feel that I was treated with respect. I'm afraid for anyone comes to this pharmacy. I'm currently sitting in my car crying, wishing that I had never gotten sick so I never would have had to deal with a person like that. read more

Have been going to this location for 5 years and have never had a negative experience. The store is always clean, and the staff is always looking to help you find things. The pharmacy is always good and offer as much advice as needed or wanted, most complaints people have are for the pharmacy usually are because of insurance or federal regulations , so I don't understand how that is there fault, every time there has been an issue with my insurance or a subscription they have done everything they can to help rectify the situation. Due to my Part D insurance I had to purchase my prescription at CVS. I've dealt with this particular store for the past two years. It has been the longest two years of my life. This store's location was convenient and we already had established prescriptions here before we realized just how poorly and inefficiently the pharmacy was run. Dealing with this pharmacy has been nothing short of a nightmare. They NEVER had our prescriptions done within any reasonable time unless we called them and lit a fire under their tail. Speaking of calling them..today my husband called them and spent 33 minutes on hold and still no one picked up from the pharmacy. When he arrived there was 11 people holding for them to pick up because we can here the announcement. He finally hung up and just drove there. Unfortunately this is not the first time. It is only one of many times which is inexcusable. The pharmacists are less them friendly. They treat you like they might do you a favor only if you are really good. I dreaded every time I had to get a new prescription from them knowing I would go through the same thing. They fill prescriptions, throw them in a basket on the floor unorganized. I have witnessed this many times when they were looking for my prescription as well as others. Instead of putting the prescriptions in the baskets labeled with letter for people's names they first put them in baskets on the floor with everyone's names and not organized. At some point somewhere down the line they must put them where they belong. I have watched them go through each basket on the floor looking for my prescription after looking in the right place where they have letters for your last name. The ones on the floor haven't been sorted yet but they are stacked up like you wouldn't believe. I have never seen such a disorganized pharmacy as this one. I have never seen such unfriendly people as this one. When I bring my concern's to one of the people behind the counter they just stand there and stare at me like I spoke another language. This place is horrendous. I changed my insurance company Part D starting in January 2020 just to make sure they favor Walgreens and not CVS. I never, ever want to deal with any CVS again, especially this one. read more

Dropped off a prescription for 6 pills after surgery. They said 3 hours. They called said it was ready and when my wife got there it was not and said it could't fill the prescription as they couldn't find the doctors code in their computer. They left a call for the doctor and when he called back they spoke about another persons not mine. When we tried calling the doctors office was closed and CVS did nothing to help resolve the problem. Took the prescription to Walgreens on Windmill and no problem. This is not the first time at this Wigwam location. No supervisor call back until later next day. They are into volume not service. Hated our insurance went to CVS Caremark. read more

It just took me 2 days to try and get a prescription from CVS pharmacy on wigwam in Las Vegas. 2 hours with their customer service and 6 phone calls to their district manager who doesn't answer their phone and has no voicemail. This is not the only time that they promised a prescription and I actually missed a flight due to their incompetency. I suggest Walgreen on wigwam or walmart if you are in need of a prescription because obviously cvs is in the wrong business! I commend Lauren at this location as she is the only one who can deliver what is promised, you may want to reconsider if she is not there. The district manager Jodi claims to call you back and it's just a continuation of the fallacy that cvs can deliver. After 2 days and 2 hours, her only continued lie was that my prescription was ready! She can be replaced by an infant and there would be better customer service. It's a shame as I have been with this pharmacy since the day they opened but I can no longer put up with their incompetence.. read more
