I spent a little over $100 on groceries and had already paid. I was just trying to get everything situated in my cart when she snapped at me and said, "Can you hurry up or move your items to the other counter?" The strange part was there wasn't a single customer waiting in line behind me. I didn't say anything and just kept loading my groceries. Then she grabbed my last two bags and tossed them over onto the other counter herself. We all have bad mornings from time to time, so I'm trying to give her some grace. Still, the way I was treated felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. I'll say a prayer for her and hope tomorrow treats her a little better than today did. read more

This Albertson in Vegas is located in a city called Henderson, I came in to buy some last-minute items that I forgot back home. The parking lot is a little bit on the busier side. The bathrooms are on the front right entranceway. The isles are clean and nicely organized with signage on the top so you don't have to walk every isle for the items. They do have a self-checkout out but not all of them are open. But still, I was in and out with not a lot of issues. read more

I have been displaced due to pipes bursting in my home and then having to do a full re piping. After eating dinner in our hotel room bathroom while my wife and kids were sleeping, got to move into an Airbnb. Therefore, we need to cook as eating out is not covered by insurance. Most of the time this is a very friendly place to shop... But the last several times I've gone... There is no grocery baskets, but it's not that busy... And the people checking you out do not want anything to do with putting your bags in your cart... They stand there and start checking out the next person while you still have bags on the counter... I always go to this grocery store and I knew I could count on it to use the restroom and I saw that they were cleaning the restroom. They had cones there and so I did some shopping and then I came back and it was still like that, but I really had to go so I asked an employee- a young lady with a baseball cap and blond hair ( sorry didnt get her name ) and she inquired how long the bathroom was gonna take unfortunately there was some kind of plumbing issue so she directed me to the employee bathroom which she don't have to do. right? This is my go-to grocery store and I love it. They open a new check stand if there is 3 or more people in line. They also have the self-check-out's which is handy when I have only one or two items. Close enough to my house that I prefer this location. I usually am able to find what I need when I go In there and if I can't find something somebody is there is usually good at helping me find what I need! Its a very clean location and very organized (as are most). The self checkouts are nice as well as them having the cashiers there too. It's makes for a quick checkout. Moldy produce... Went after work and got some food to make a meal for dinner, went home and thirty minutes later I notice how many moldy potatoes were in the Little Company package. I called and wasn't able to get to connect to someone for nearly 15 minutes, it just kept ringing and telling me to select an option to get through the customer service. I just wanted a refund for the item but they told me to bring the moldy food back. I had already thrown it away because um EW?? Expires June 15th, purchased on June 3rd. read more

This store is not very consistently stocked or staffed and is well overdue for a revamp/modernization. There have been a handful of very rude, poorly informed, and disappointing service experiences, but there's also some standouts- they have a very friendly and helpful produce manager who takes a lot of pride in the area. Pretty much all general "shelf" groceries are not so hot. There are items frequently out of stock (or not appropriately supplied/stocked for sales) and there's been a couple times they don't even carry an item (oyster sauce, angel hair pasta nests, commercial pita bread that isn't an overpriced bakery item, and a variety [type, not flavor] of a national yogurt brand to name just a couple of the most recent occasions). Also too many occasions of produce, or bread or something else bagged inappropriately, and therefore damaged. I end up shopping here once or twice a week for sporadic needs primarily due to proximity, but it would never be my first choice or recommend to anyone for regular shopping. The Albertson's on Stephanie and Horizon Ridge or Boulder Hwy/Lake Mead aren't too much further, but both are much nicer and bigger for serious grocery trips. read more

I have 3 supermarkets near me but what sets this store apart from the other two are it's employees. They have this unique combination of caring and service that the other 2 don't seem to capture. Today I was struggling with using the digital coupons on the ap. One young lady took the time to explain the ap to me as well as encouraging me to continue to learn how to use the ap. The Starbucks located in this Albertsons has poor customer service. The "so-called" baristas are rude and inexperienced. No one holds them accountable for anything they do. I ordered a typical maciado drink today. When I questioned the male barista about how the drink was mixed, he decided to argue with me instead of offering to fix the drink. I had a hard time with a carpet cleaner return I wasn't made aware of late fee when I I was told I could hold on to it past my initial 24 rental. Sure everything has a late fee, but I confirmed that at the start and when I returned it I was given a completely different answer. I guess it was wrong to trust that the employees were trained on the their products. My wife was buying groceries on line for pick up today and noticed that there were 2 charges. The orginal charge of 162.73 and another for 8.04. My wife called customer service and was told that the reason for the 8.04 charge was because of "supply chain and inflation problems" and that tbere was nothing that coild be done fir a refund even though we thought we were buying 162.73 worth of groceries. The problem occured however when Johnathan the customer service rep we were talking to said "you dont seem to understand my explanation and i other calls in cue. There isnt anything I can do, good by". Listen I know things are bad for a lot of people with the economy but please dont be rude and make us feel like we are the issue. And do not just hang up. If we didnt read the fine print thats on us but we dont have to put up with rude and uncaring customer service people. Albertsons Im asking now for 8.04 back on our bill.....and please get with Jonathan the customer service rep we spoke with and train him again. Everyone is paying more to live these days but that doesnt mean we have to put up with attitude. My family and I will not be shopping with this Albersons again read more

not even a week ago I go to the fresh meat department and I order 2 lb of crab legs. I'm thinking this is Albertsons their meat has to be fresh although I did not see any crab legs sitting on ice in the display case. but there was a sign stating the price per pound which by the way was $3 more than my local Albertson in Las Vegas Nevada. but anyway so I received my 2 lb of crab legs the next day after the purchase preparing for a visit from two of my girlfriends, I am thrown back, My skin begins to crawl as I gazed my eyes upon the crab legs which had at least 30 or more sesame seed egg-like type substances on 40% of the crab legs. unbelievable crab leeches!!!! grossed out make a long story short I go clear across town back to this Albertson which is 20 mi from my house one way to exchange for some fresh crab legs. same to myself how disgusting it is for them to even try to pass that off to someone nasty!!! I expressed my discomfort the manager that was on duty was even in shock she has never seen such a sight! once again no crab legs in the display case but the young man went to the back and recovered 2 lb I expressed to him make sure there are no crab leeches at that point he confirmed that they were good. I get home two days later it is my aunt's 65th birthday I wanted to make seafood boil. let me mention that I had also purchased for lobster tails and the jumbo shrimp to add into the seafood boil. "HOLY MAGNOLIA YOU HAVE GOT TO BE.....S$&#@ING ME"! THE SAME FREAKING PROBLEM! so I'm wanting everybody do not buy your crab legs or any other seafood from the fresh meat department that is not displayed in the case because who in the right mind is going to open up the package of seafood before you get to your house to wash it. so I have burned 80 miles worth of gas remember 20 mi each way to make two trips The dinner was destroyed because once I discovered the mess up from the second trip the meat fresh department was closed at all grocery stores... you would not expect this from Albertsons let alone in Henderson but let me tell you they are selling this to people knowing damn well the crab legs are not right... read more

I was on the way out of this Albertson's and the security guard struck up a conversation with me. We were standing by the skill crane machine, where some kid was looking at stuffed animals. After the kid walked away the guard pointed out an old man doll in the machine. While an old man doll in a crane machine seemed a bit odd, I saw characters from the old Muppet Show and quickly realized that he was one of the 2 grumpy old men from the Muppet Show. The guard went on to tell me that they should not put old man dolls in the machine because no one would try to win them and furthermore, that doll could not go to some kids house because it would come in their room at night and bad things would happen. I ran into this store yesterday for something I had forgotten. I couldn't believe how many people were in there without a mask on! I would say 50% or so! So not hard to notice! Not a single employee or manager said a word! It made me uneasy due to the recent outbreak. There are people who have compromised immune systems. Not to mention it is required!!!!! I do like this store for its convenience however, I'm noticing more and more shoppers bringing in their dogs. Not service dogs but lap dogs and I don't like it. I'm sick of this. I normally do not complain about a store or service, except to the store and their manager, well, my rant today regards Albertsons at Horizon and College. My wife is on chemo-therapy and her doctors want her to have lots of iron in her diet. One way that she likes is Total cereal. So today I return to the Alberton's and speak with ass't manager about their not carrying Total any longer. The attitude was that they had a recent reset and Total was not in the mix any longer. I asked if it could be special ordered. "No". So you want me to shop elsewhere? "That choice is up to you." "You would rather I shop at Smith's or WINCO?"I asked. "Entirely up to you." So I read this as they do not care about customer service and they would prefer I shop elsewhere, and the attitude from the person was they do not care about my or your business in their store. Love this store has a huge selection always stocked up. Also love that I don't have to wear a mask. Every time I wear one no one asks me to put one on and of course I mind the 6 foot rule and am vaccinated. It's like the store wants to get back to normal reality and I'm here for it!
